    I don’t ride ATVs or snowmobile‘s, I don’t operate machinery, I don’t build houses or hot tubs or do road grading. But I’ll sit here and watch a 2 1/2 hour video and be disappointed when it’s over that it’s not longer. I don’t understand what it is about these videos that are so compelling, but just keep doing it dude.

    I think what makes Andrew's vids so easy to watch, and so compelling, is he's never trying to convince the viewer of anything, like "this is the greatest thing you'll ever see" or "this is the best xyz ever" etc. He just records the stuff he does. Cut's it together to simply tell the story of what happened. No buildups, no drama, no unneeded narrating. Never do I feel like saying "okay, get on with it already" at some point in his videos. Thanks, as always for sharing your fun and work.

      I enjoy Andrew's vids for all the same reasons as you but I'll add one more. He's not trying to be a rock star. He moves the camera around and he's always thinking about the viewer. I truly believe that Andrew is teaching a whole generation how to make watchable content.

    What attracts me mostly to these videos is the innocence of just living a dream. I like the dog relationship that we can all recall with our own pets, I like the repairs on equipment, I like that Andrew doesn't exploit his earnings with extravagant commodities, I love the rural setting and I especially like leaving the family private and the drama out of the videos. In these times, everything is drama and reality crap. I have enough of that in my own home, I don't need someone else's baggage. Thank you Andrew for editing your videos....straight to the point! No cussing, no drinking, no arguments....just ppl getting along and getting the job done. Relaxing and fun to watch Andrew! I applaud you young man. I'm sorry for your loss pet. I've lost 4 dogs from natural causes In my 65 years and I cry every time. Your dogs, Codi, Blue, Sadi and Levi are precious. Aren't they loyal? Gotta love their innocence!

    I grew up close to that area in New York state, just a little further west in the Sixties and early Seventies. My dad had a trucking business and I have been all over New York and Pennsylvania as a young man eventually moving away and traveling the world. Watching Andrew brings back so many memories of my Dad, Grandfather and uncles operating and working on equipment at all hours and persevering in all kinds of weather and conditions. The way we were raised I learned how weld when I was around Eight and how to rebuild engines and fabricate something out of just the materiel on hand by the time I was in my teens. I still keep a class A CDL in my pocket. I've have always done well based on what I learned in my younger years there. It's good to see men and women of there age working together and accomplishing what they have. It gives you hope for the future of our society. Based on the history of the region the people of the state were always very industrious and capable.

    I like how one story sort of leads to the next. For example, this video was about the exploration of the area, but projects come along and then the project leads to another i.e. changing up the tires leads to the equipment getting fixed. I can watch these videos endlessly too and feel let down after I watched it. I'm always left wanting more. I can never wait for the next video to come out. Never pretentious, no ego just a normal guy taking care of business. Thank you, Andrew!

Works great. Takes me 30 minutes to take it apart and put it back together and go riding in the woods in the mud in the middle of.

    My 1980s Suzuki LT250 had tire pressures of 5F and 8R, and it went almost anywhere at that. It had a tendency (as did all Suz models of that era) to rear up when riding terrain as you & Sam have done, tossing the rider off, so I utilised some leftover lead ballast wired to the front of the frame to hold the front down. Suggestion: a fish crate for a front basket, and a cordless chainsaw (with spare battery) when you next go trail-riding.

      Historically it's know as: people trying to fill the void they feel inside with what this world offers. In a 60 mins interview Tom Brady expressed the truth re: his lack of satisfaction with life, even though he was successful, wealthy, married a "super model" [now divorced], famous, etc. Sadly, there's no shortage of people like Brady; and no matter who they are, where they live, or what time in history they existed, people cannot have *true* joy, peace, and happiness w/o Jesus Christ-not even Solomon who was the richest man whose ever lived; he said: "...it's all vanity, so fear God and obey His word b/c He will bring every act to judgment" [Eccl 12:8/13-14]

      You got that right. I still ride the old Honda ATCs. Got a couple of 250ES and a 350X from 1985. Still going strong. I finally took the plunge on a new Rubicon quad last year, and that electronic shifting setup looked like a huge potential headache. I made sure to get one with the manual foot shifter. I LOVE it! Like riding a cloud compared to those solid axle trikes... though I still love them, too.

      It's not the electronics that are bad (since ya know, it's still mechanic half way) it's the software that's garbage. A good way to make these things work right is ... to just rip off the stupid entrails and take something really basic stupid that does the same things (up shift, low shift, power up/down) and graft it on top. But... who has the time? Nobody. They're still pretty stout.

    Hey Andrew you ever want to upgrade suspension, get a Texas tough customs long travel lift and 814 shocks. It will ride like a dream..Also with the pioneers don’t lug the motor down or hold the petal down if the tires aren’t spinning, you can burn the clutches up in the transmission it’s shaft driven but still has wet clutches, try to always keep it above 2000 rpm, whenever creeping around slow use low range, rattles you can get rid of by adjust door bump stops and bed latches, whine from rear end is because of straight cut gears, if you leave it outside Atleast run the gas tank vent up cause they love to get water in the fuel tank. Even when washing them, and the clicking when shifting will get quieter after first service it’s just the electronic shift solenoids changing gears, best oil to use is 5w-40 t6 synthetic diesel oil imo way smoother and quieter

  • @genegustafson1665
    @genegustafson1665 Год назад +1

    Another thing about Honda you got to change oil and filter all the time as clean oil helps the curtifical clutch plates work a lot better on the engine and transmission.

    Most people I see riding ATVS don't know how to drive a ATV, as I use to own 3 wheeler's and you have too use your legs and feet to make sharp corners as when you are turning right you use your left foot and leg muscles and push on the left foot rest or foot peg, and opposite turning left push on the right side of the 4 wheeler and you will be a better driver on any ATV or ATC.
