      @@Hackersuncovered Sadly, I haven't been able to advance too far. It kinda exposed my neck problems and I'd go through a cycle of PT/chiro/gym/injury. Good news is I finally had surgery this past summer and I'm feeling a lot better. Now slowly getting back into a routine.

      So if your seat doesn’t go down , is put the handles down lower and bringing them to a 90 still ok?

    Holy sh**tz this video helped me drastically. I always would do these with the seat too high and never felt the exercise. This guy knows what he’s talking about when it comes to shoulders

    Thanks for the instructions. I use both free weights and machines and cables. Combine it all. Nothing wrong with doing all that to keep muscles challenged differently and keep it interesting.

    Hey, DOUCHEBAG its a HOW TO video. Also, these machines are great to incorporate into your workouts if they are available to you.. ALSO they are made to be done in a circuit for Circuit Training for beginners. Take your rude comments elsewhere

    Have you thought about making a compilation (depending on body part) of sound bytes into mp3 clips which people like myself can listen to while working out? It would help us remember to keep proper form.

    I sit higher because it feels harder to lift. (Which makes think I getting gains.) Thanks for clearing up on where to position the seat! Hopefully I can lift the same amout of weight with a lower position. Should I keep a low position for reverse overhead press as well?

    Im actually glad u got this machine on here...
    I usually give up with this one as it feels like my right shoulder "crunches"when I use it...
    my mates who I joined with say they don't like it for same reason also so its not just me =S
    Don't suppose you ever had same issue when u started at gym =S??

    Scott You have done a lot of videos about how to's. Can you do a video explaining work out routine for hectomorph at least starting in our homes. I went to a gym like 4 years ago and didn't have a result over 4 months. I got tired. Any helping tips.

    I'm guilty of giving myself tendonitis in my shoulder and elbow for doing this wrong with 65 lb dumbbell freeweights. I knew you're supposed to get to 90 degrees, I just have trouble kicking it up there! One time my elbow almost got bent backwards funny because I lost control of the weights during my last cutting phase.

    I do that but facing the other way. To me it seems to stop you bringing your chest muscles into play. I keep my forehead against the pad. Do you think this is detrimental in any way? Cheers.

    I only use neutral grip for this exercise, when I use the other grip it feels like its putting my shoulders in an awkward position.

    @ScottHermanFitness Also for beginers machines ensure correct form is correct which prevents joint damage, I should know, my arm clicks at the shoulder when i raise it lol. If I had used machines initially this wouldn't have occured.

    Easy way to know how low you should take the exercise, is to have it about as low as your ears

      Yes.
      Gripping with elbows forward, hits front delt more
      Gripping with elbows out, hits middle delt more.

    ive dislocated my left shoulder twice but i dnt have money for the doc so i just let it heal on its own (i know, stupid).. im back in the gym and im doing everything i used to do before except no db shoulder press or db overhead tricep extension (those exercises and poor form are what caused the dislocations) should i try the machine press cause i feel like i need to start doing overhead excersises again but im scared of messing my shoulders up again... any help would be appreciated

      not bent outwards, your elbows should go straight down and not outwards
