By the time my husband (33 years) was almost done, I was his personal assistant, cruise director, president of his fan club, governess, and most importantly, his medical expert(taxed with the pleasure of dosing out his final medications). He died a little over a year ago and I’m finally feeling better, everyday grateful that I’m not enslaved anymore or having to suffer humiliation, lies, chaos…it’s so sad when someone dies young, but not this time

@@trini_a_Lana I had to take care of him in hospice for his last 4 months, he thought it was good to “come clean” about his whore in another city, 36 year old gold digger!!!! Every day now I wake up with gratitude that I’m left in peace

Wow, and the victim of an NPD person gets accused in every situation for their emotional dysregulation, brain fog, lack of empathy, and more!
That’s why some victims question where or not they are narcissistic. So this makes sense.

You have explained within your videos exactly what narcissistic abuse is. You have helped me to understand that it was not me, it was them. You have helped me to gain back my respect of self! Dear Sam,
I came across your videos in my darkest hours few years ago.
At that time, I was recovering from abuse,I still do but with much more awareness and much more supple vocabulary to name what I went through.
Everything you say in this video resonates with me and I have been meaning to write a comment under your videos for a while but, I felt very split even about writing a short message.
I have and I stil am afraid to he rediculeted for the things that I have allowed to happen in my last relationship.
Hence why, the nothingness attitude appeals to me very much, though, it is a very difficult task to rebuild your life and make living if you renaming to be unseen.
Though, I made it work in the last few years but at times I feel myself to be a victim of the past, though I dispise that term .
I prefer to call myself an survivor but it has been one hell of a price to survive through madness.
Everything of what I knew was shuttered, only the essense remained and even that I questioned through my recovery.
I had to filter my voice and his voice, I still do so even after 3 years of it all ending.
Infection it is , I felt it after our immediate separation that I use to say or think in the way that he did.
Though, I was most at the time aware of it and I am still sifting through it.. I wish it was all different.
So, my biggest thank to you is for helping us to understand the not so understandable mind of an injured and traumatised person, myself and my abuser included
Also, I thank you for your honesty and objectivity, professionalism and your sense of humour.

Imagine how difficult is to take care of a mother with 92 yo!! She still with all her narcissistic personality. I am a Psychoanalyst and my brother has all this behavior and I am try to help him understand " how he is becoming soo infected by taking care of her for about 8 years !!!
