wow what can I say, so inspiring! "yah buddy thats all for you" so proud huge congratulations!
Fast Forward Eventing I loved it when she said that! So great that she recognizes the work her horse does. I know some riders take all the credit and don't acknowledge their horse's role in it.

That’s pretty much me when ever I do a show but with dressage
Incredible horsemanship, riding, and incredible horse. Loved watching you ride Elisa!! GO JOHNNY GO!
Claire Eventing hi
Hi i luv ur videos😀
Hi Claire
Claire Eventing Oh my gosh!! I love you claire!
Claire Eventing omg it is you
Can we just appreciate Johnny's ears throughout this cross country course? They're just perks forward the whole time. Jonny is so friggin cute. Elisa, I love how your constantly telling him good boy, and keeping it very positive. I love how how you told him "C'mon Johnny I wanna get home" it looked like he instantly sped up and took you home. Such amazing horsemanship. Honestly when you started crying at the end so happy with him it just warmed my heart. Johnny is a super horse, he's so intelligent. I don't know how many times I've watched this, and continue to become more impressed with your skill as a rider, and how athletic Johnny is. Awesome job Elisa! GO JOHNNY GO!!!
And when she clipped the jump or something, she said "It's okay boy, we can recover from that"
I love how you talk to him!!
Me too.
omg i follow you on instagram lol
Ayla Powers Haha I feel famous 😂😂
yeah that's super cute and true tam work :)

Yesh, so fricking cute
They where saying go buddy but yeah
@@TheLaurashannon they were saying go Johnny
It’s so weird that I heard that as I was reading this...
@@Me-ti4gc YOO as I got that notification I was in the SSO dressage arena
That was tiring just watching!! You and your horse are incredible athletes! Outstanding, well done!
The athleticism, the emotion you showed at the end of it! Amazing! And I appreciated and loved the fact that immediately after completing it, the first thing done was to check on the horses health. Well done, an amazing video, thank you for sharing it!
5:30 *cheering* “look buddy, that was all for you!”
Nah I’m not crying
It's so nice to hear that you constantly are talking and praising him! I'm always talking to my horse about all kinds of things when I'm riding: how my day was, how long left the ride is etc. and I'm pretty sure my friends think I'm crazy 😂
Omg, like same😂 mostly in competitions i talk about jow hood he's and how many carrots he will get! And it's really funny because you jump your course amd you just calmly talk😂❤️
Haha Me too! Sometimes when I go for a trail ride, I just spill everything, about my day, how my life’s going, and then I think she’s talking back to me😂😂
ellie same tho
We all do it🤣
That’s what sucks about Dressage! You aren’t allowed to talk to the horse using your voice. Dressage is all through legs, arm, hands, upper body, core, seat, thighs, and calves. And your horse too
Elisa: Good boy good boy good boy good boy
Horse: snort snort snort snort snort snort snort snort snort snort snort

Whenever I watch these it seems to intense and scary. I can carve around on a motorcycle for hours and it doesn't seem this nuts. This sort of riding takes some serious guts.
psh try barrel racing ,mounted shootin, mounted archery ,bulldoggin ,bronc riding ,and steer wrestling
@@evelyncarpio9452 there's one big difference, a westernsaddle is legit a sofa it's litterly impossible to fall out of it. (And yes I have done western for 6 years but changed due to lack of action.) You now the obstacles are stuck and can't move in case the horse don't jump high enough? As far as I know a barrel will fall if you hit it. The Only thing that usually makes western any more dangerous is not using an helmet. Mvh.
That’s what makes it addictive! Show jumping and Cross Country are my 2 favorite disciplines. It’s a huge adrenaline rush and you really have to trust your horse.
You have to try cross-country, when you gallop across the fields and flying over the jumps, it feels like a dream, it just feels so amazing i cant describe it, horse riding is the best thing thats ever happened to me!😍
@@faye1845 I feel you. It's what I want to do for the rest of my life. The people I've met,the feeling....there's nothing like it
I love how you talked to him and cried at the end. He was so happy to give you everything. Great video
I love the helmet cams cause I find the horse snorts and hoof beats so relaxing. It’s also amazing to watch from your view and see your bond. He’s a great boy and you are such a talented rider, y’all are perfect together. Great job and I agree with everyone...your truly an inspiration.❤️
Amen
I'm not saying this is mean in any way at all, I love how you look after him, I just think it's so insane how much stamina some fit horses have! I know my pony wouldn't be able to do that for even 3 mins 😂
This was amazing! Seriously felt like I was riding with you. You are incredible and I could never imagine doing what you do. Such a proud moment. ❤️
I was like “wow... that must be amazing for the horse to be hearing ‘yeah buddy, that’s all for you’” when the crowd cheers!! ❤️
He did an amazing job, I know horses don't have to stop once they're past 15 but he did an awesome job for an older gentleman and I didn't even realise he was 17.
Lotte B he’s actually 16. His birthday is in November since he is Australian.
Elisa Wallace Eventing that's super cool, I too am Australian, though me and my mare are September babies ^^. Thanks for posting these though, it's amazing to watch such high level courses from this different POV.
It's a awesome reminder and connection point that, yes those people riding those super famous courses are humans and they talk to their horses too(I'm usually too busy being awestruck by the size of the jumps/ditches to think about stuff like that) but hearing you talk to him is lovely.
Until I found out that he was 16 I thought he was like 10-12
Lotte B yea the horse I ride she’s just turned 19!! Still perfectly well and going on strong ❤️
Elisa Wallace Eventing I thought he was like 4-6
i love how supportive you are of all your horses, before the race you can hear the "take care of her johnny" 🥺
You crying at the end definitely made me tear up like other commenters! I don't know if I'll ever get half as good as you but I will say you and Johnny are absolute role models for me! I can only hope to one day get that good! Beautiful run, I'm so happy for you!!!!
Buddy that’s all for u , that really got to me 😭❤️❤️😍😍😍he didn’t stop once u must be so proud ☘️, never give up on that horse he’s one of a kind ☘️😭💘xx

Aww as an equestrian myself I was counting before each fence 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 omg it was amazing and ur horse did amazing and u did amazing
One more thing: your tears of joy at the end; seeing Lainey and your dad at the end= says it all for you and Johnny. Congrats Champ!
One day I can only hope to be as good as you! That was a great run! I’m still a beginner at riding and in my next lesson I’m going to canter for the first time!! I’m so excited and hope that one day, I’ll be able to ride like you and Johnny!! ❤️ Amazing Job

You know when someone loves their horse when they cry because of how good they were! Truly an inspiration!❤️
To all the people that call eventing abuse, look at this and you will see the amazing relationship between the two. It's just amazing.
Ikr so cute and sweet
Horses were bred to run to the death at command and if you scanned their lungs you'd find bleeding when they run full speed for prolonged periods of time. Plus people who design these tracks are sadists, they are way too long and the obstacles seem intentionally designed to be death traps to the horses.
@@glory2cybertronBro known of that is true

Do you love hearing his name called as your jump? I love hearing it
I Love how you compliment your horse after jumps and put Johnny in the middle of the attention
That was an epic ride! I kept looking at those enormous trees and then the enormous fences... amazing. I have to keep reminding myself that this is the first time the horses see this course- their bravery and athleticism is extraordinary (so is yours!). Congratulations! 🖤🖤🖤

Jonny is so fit and has so much stamina and I love how he enjoys doing it
How’s ears were forward the whole time lol
Good on you Elisa and Jonny!
Great ride ! I hated that the usef livestream didn't cover your ride ( except a few seconds) because they only showed Marilyn Little's ride. So I was waiting for your video. Best of luck for the showjumping today !
Yes! I was seriously irritated with that - was shouting at my laptop when they refused to cut back to Elisa and Johnny!
EnglishPony Same! I questioned their common sense more with every minute. They could show the crowd and someone waiting to go into the starting box but not Elisa's ride ?!
Horse for the whole track: *prrt prrt prrt prrt...*
Rider: GOOD BOII!! YEAH BUDDYYY!!! GOOD BOIHH! GOOD BOIHH!!
Swiftfur _ it’s a sound they make when they run, doesn’t happen all the time tho
I was crying before you even hit the halfway mark! There is no one out there with a heart like you and Johnny have- no one. And from all the “go Johnny go’s!!” you can hear the whole way around, you’ve both captured the hearts of so many of us! THANK YOU for continuing to bring us along for the ride!! P.S. So strange to see you run Kentucky when it’s not pouring the rain! 😂😂😂

I love your picture framer
Every time o need a cheer up after coming off my (way too spunky and excitable) mare I come watch these videos. Training her from western to english is such a struggle. After I found your channel, I wanted to start getting more into english riding and cross country-not big events like this, but more small events near my hometown in America. My mare was trained for western pleasure and reining, so trying to get her used to an english saddle compared to a western saddle-which I was also trained in for most of my time-along with myself has been a struggle. Now that there’s nearly a foot of snow in my hometown, there’s not a lot I can do with her. ):
You rode great! Johnny is amazing! Loved watching you over that last jump!!
I remember once I went to a show and a family came along and non of them where equestrians! And they kept saying slow down or hands “up”
And I was looking at them like.. “what???” It really annoyed me but we left after and I never saw them again! 🙂
Can you share your thoughts on ML and the bloody mouth? I think it's the 5th or 6th time shes drawn blood. It must be frustrating to follow the rules and play fair and have your competitors be immune to obvious rule infractions
What happened?
+Céline Brugada Marilyn Little's horse has been seen with crazy tight nosebands (like, really, really, tight. Like skin bulges tight.) and blood on her mouth. It's happened last year at Kentucky and now this year. First time could be explained away with 'oh she bit her tongue' but this is getting to be a real problem and they're just letting her skirt by it. ML's groom was actually wiping blood off of RF Scandalous' mouth before they went on the course this year.
I believe overall this is the 5th or 6th time she has had blood on this horse's mouth. She rides with a crazy tight noseband, and a double twisted wire bit. Once is an oops, twice should be concerning, but more than that and there is serious problem.
ML frustrates me so much! Remember that girl who got disqualified from the entire show just for using cream with 1 ingredient that was banned and she didnt know, yet they let ML away with extremely tight tack and bleeding horses??
I agree that the past infractions were questionable. However in this instance things were different, you can read an article here that clears things up... www.chronofhorse.com/article/marilyn-little-responds-to-blood-incident-at-land-rover-kentucky
I love you how you communicate with him, what a lovely partnership💞
Wow..SO GOOD, what a horse (and what a rider!!) ❤ magical at the end!
My competition in jumping was cancelld bc of corona ;(
I love how proud of him you were! This was amazing! You and Johnny have improved so much and I'm glad you both made it through safe and sound! I was tired just watching this!
I don't know why, but I find that 1 second if silence while jumping so relaxing.
Awww, I almost started crying too at the end.
Next year, you're bringing Riot, right?
I love how she’s talking to the horse. They’re your partners.... not your egos
Yay! I have been anxiously awaiting this video! You are such a great pair. Thanks for letting us ride with you - Go Johnny Go!
Such an honest horse ❤️ he’s beautiful and loves what he’s doing the ears are perked the whole way 💋
I loved how johnny was listening to everything and just the way you talk to him is lovely
Anyone who says that riding isn't a sport, and you just sit there and the horses do all the work, please watch this video and listen to her breathing. It's not because she's scared.
Well done! I love watching that horse go cross country, he is incredible!
Nothing better than hearing riders praise their horses. This is a great video. You guys did beautifully! :)
