A couple things, first off I want to say it will take up a vast majority of any free time you have, but if it is what you want to do, don’t even worry about that bit, because you will want to practically live at the barn if you’re like me! Second, I’ve come across a book called Centered Riding by Sally Swift and it has made me completely rethink riding to a whole different level- definitely in a positive way! And if you don’t mind I’m just going to quote a bit from the Forward and then a bit from the Intro. “From the time we enter school we are told to study harder to get better grades, do more push-ups, run more laps to make the football team. “If you don’t try, you won’t succeed.” Then we climb onto a horse, a timid creature of flight, which knows and cares nothing of the work ethic, and we drive him crazy. The very act of trying brings tension and rigidity; the horse responds to our stress with his stress, and the downward spiral begins.” If you get the book all of this and so much more will make sense to you. I so STRONGLY recommend Centered Riding it’s not even funny. Just look it up on Amazon and buy it. Seriously. You NEED this book if you want to be an expert rider. “This book, on the whole, does not teach you how to ride.” So keep that in mind because you’ll probably need an instructor as well but this book is AMAZING! Infinity out of five star rating. Good luck, also I know that was a lot to read so sorry
Could hardly eat my breakfast watching that. Well done all of you, great riding and amazing horses. The little coloured horse was a star, faultless leader and pacemaker. My horse would have been exhausted after 3 minutes.

That looked so much fun!!! You did so well xxxx
Why don't they just call a fall, a fall. Involuntary dismount sounds so Orwellian.
I dunno lol. I think it's to make light of the situation and abit comical? Im not sure 😂
It’s so nice to see you talking to your mare the whole way around x
All such beauties! Oh the ladies too 😂 also you could see something was going to happen on the first two jumps, maybe it was the horse or maybe the rider, whoever it was, it’s fine, falls happen and as long as you both were fine in the end 💖 Love You Guys 😘💖💕
Edit: why is my like on this video 666th?... 😂😂
I think the reason for the fall at the beginning was because she lost her stirrups then went for the second jump but couldn’t get her balance😊 (I’m not 100% on this)
Ellie Evans I was thinking that too but I couldn’t tell completely by her feet, also I couldn’t see the stirrups bouncing around which is probably what would have happened if she lost them, but I’m not completely sure either ☺️ xx
Marksepticeye X yeah❤️
Thank you for this. I put my son on my knee and we played horses. He loved it
Hi! I’m new here. 😁 Who is your lovely mare? Name? Age? Breed? Just curious. I love horses. I went horseback riding for the first time two weeks ago. It was awesome! Trail rides are so much fun. 😊
Hi! Welcome to my channel! :)
She is Carrie. She is 11 years old and I've had her since she was turning 6. She is an Irish sport horse :) x

Looks like so much fun haha
Scary but definitely fun!! 😃🐎
Aww you are so cute and happy! The way you just talk enthusiastic with her and just makes the run fun for all of you! just love it
This looks really fun! I've just started horse back riding, any tips? I'm a girl btw, just using a guys account.
Don't do this straight away 😂 it's scary haha! Just enjoy it 😊 horse riding is so freeing and exhilarating! Finding a good coach will help though. Plenty of bad ones out there! A good one will improve your confidence, riding skill level, horse communication and knowledge :) hope that helps a little :) x
Equinologee that helped a lot! Thanks! I'll be sure to take note of all that! Again, thanks!
Absolutely lived that. You made us laugh and draw sharp intakes of breath - very exciting and entertaining 💕
I wish my instructor would let me go on a trail ride after 2 years of riding lessons ;-;
Sweet ride! Though I am western uwu
Lunarfoox SaMeee Barrel racing?
Could hardly eat my breakfast watching that. Well done all of you, great riding and amazing horses. The little coloured horse was a star, faultless leader and pacemaker. My horse would have been exhausted after 3 minutes.
Haha!! Who needs breakfast anyway? 🤷♀️😂 thankyou so much! 🥰
It's a cracker of a pony isnt it! 😍🐎
