Kayak Fishing Uk : May Fishing in Torquay Pollock, Mackerel, and Dogfish

May is usually a slow month for fishing in Torbay, currently the May bloom is happening, so the sea is coloured, but still managed to snag a few fish on my day off, no bass this season, but looking forward to my next session out.

Good to see you back out mate. Not been out yet myself, just off shore and only had one bass, one pollack and a garfish from about 10 sessions! Been hard going. Nice idea with the crab pot, what did you bait it with?

Yeah it was good to get out finally, and also catch. Now the weather is improving I should be out more often. 👍, I always bait my pot with mackerel, usually works well, just need something big enough to take home. 🤞
