Who said swings are for kids? Strap in for some big-kid fun because this ride was designed with thrill seekers in mind. It’s part nostalgia, part traditional swing, and all flying high. Feel the exhilaration of a bird in flight as the ride’s mighty arms extend outward at a 45-degree angle and the swings reach incredible speeds of 50 kilometers per hour. WindSeeker’s dizzying height of 301 feet (yes, that’s over 27 stories) promises breathtaking views of park.
What’s more, WindSeeker is two rides in one, offering a totally different experience at night! When the sun goes down, the fun lights up with WindSeeker’s elaborate light show. As the swings ascend to the top of the tower, a supernatural light display comes to life with a kaleidoscope of colourful patterns and shapes.

Call me crazy, but this is by far the most terrifying ride for me at the park. Yukon striker and leviathan are great fun. This is just scary.
Edit: 5 years later, still scary. But in the good way 😂

My class went to CW for a trip and my best friend was really looking forward to riding this ride, so she did. I, on the other hand, don't like heights, so I waited at the bottom. She was having the time of her life, then the ride got stuck at the top! She was stuck up there for at least an hour. After she safely got back to the ground, she wanted to go again. At least she had fun and wasn't scared for the rest of her life after.

The scary thing about this ride isn't the forces (because there are no intense forces), but imagining the ride breaking and you plummeting to the ground below. But if you can get over that, it's a great ride with an amazing view.

Rode this two weeks ago. Made it the final ride of the day, after conquering Mine Buster, Behemoth, Yukon Striker, and others. Got onto it at sunset, thinking it would be easy, calm, relaxing, romantic, etc. Let me assure you - *it is none of those things.*
I did not know previous to riding the Wind Seeker that you could feel both incredibly bored and really scared simultaneously but with the wind seeker this odd combination of feelings is possible.
If your not scared of heights and like relaxing rides this ride is for you! It doesn’t give that stomach feeling at all, I would say the inwards seat is a lil scarier, but still super fun!
I went on at nighttime and it was so beautiful! I remember it being quite chilli so when i was talking to me friend beside me I was stammering and shivering. Lol! Amazing view though 😍

This windseeker probably has one of the best views of any windseeker at any cedar fair park. The only ones ahead of it are probably carowinds and cedar point.
Top thrill dragster has a great view but you're not up there long enough to enjoy it 😋

i used to be TERRIFIED of this ride bc how high it goes, but my friends and i went at night and it was the BEST!! IT WAS SOOO PRETTY and im so glad i went

How many times did you have to go on Leviathan to get to the " wheeee " stage ? I've never been on it..and kinda scared to go on it. I went on Behemoth around 10 years ago..and have been traumatized ever since.. I was completely frozen with fear on Behemoth..closed my eyes..hoping / praying the whole way..
. Never went on it again..or any of the 3 hyper coasters

Way higher up than Yukon Striker, when you are ascending on Yukon Striker you are looking up at Windseeker.

Rainbow Unicorn love is it scary? Um, well it really just depends if ur a roller coaster person or not. If u r then u will probably rlly enjoy it like I did bc it's not even that tall if u see it in person.
If ur not a roller coaster person than I recommend that u don't go on it at all bc someone in my class went on it and they got an anxiety attack bc of the 3 seconds that they hold u there for so yah. It really just depends on u but good luck anyway 👍🏼

Was really scared when I rode this alone for the first time though I enjoyed it when I was on the top as you can see everything and it feels like you’re a butterfly 🦋
Dorney Park and Michigan's Adventure should get one of these as well (but in the form of a Funtime Star Flyer like North Star at Valleyfair, or Sky Screamer at Six Flags parks).
I love this ride, its so relaxing.
i went on at sunset and it was beautiful
the whole day we were dying because of the heat (TimberWolf Falls also helped with that) but then we went on this and it was amazing.

Not sure why, but this is my favourite or second favourite ride! Especially at night time when the lights come on. It's just so peaceful and nice with the light wind lightly whipping in your face that somehow makes me feel nostalgic for some reason.
I love how at the end it shows Yukon striker dropping and corkscrewing

As someone who is deathly afraid of heights , kinda proud I went on this tbh. Will I go back on it? HELL NO. the whole time I was like please make it stop and let me be safe on the ground again 🤣 but I’m a big roller coaster guy. So behemoth , leviathan are so fun to me. Just went on Yukon striker recently and I almost had a panick attack in line but it was so worth it. Yeah I’ll just stick to my roller coasters tbh .

Yukon Striker is only 240+ feet. It's dangerous for a dive coaster to be taller than that I assume.
Well Yukon striker is the scariest cause before you go down the drop you come to a complete stop with you staring down below

I've heard this ride is often closed due to the wind...really makes you rethink the name...
To be honest, this would have been less scary if it were moving faster. The slowness of it made me way to anxious when I went on it, but the view was pretty. If you have a problem with heights, the truck is to look out, not down

I love windseeker it’s my favourite ride at the park
I got stuck at the top of this ride for over 30 minutes yesterday.. we went up, and right before it started spinning faster the ride stopped 😭 they had to take us down inch by inch (and it clicked every time it went two which isn’t the most fun sound to hear when your 120 feet in the air 💀). It’s safe to say I’ll never be going on that ride again 😅
I found this ride quite calm, surprised by the "terrifying" comments by others. I feel the other airplane ride (nearly right beside, I forget name) to be way scarier for the kids
It's called Skyhawk and yeah it can be scary for kids since there's a kiddie airplane ride called snoopy vs red baron but I think it's pretty cool would be to chicken to flip though
this one would really be calming if it was not at such a angle
It was really windy when I rode this ride I could feel it blowing in my eyes also I could see the CN tower from up there.
Everything is all jokes and games till the ride stops in the air

I went on this yesterday it may look scary it’s not as a person scared of speedy things and heights this was amazing u can see Toronto and the whole park it goes up really slow which makes it better and also spins slow it may seem high and it is but once h get up u will just want it to go higher

The bit where you go up before swinging is high enough for me. Don’t need to swing around at 305 feet with speeds of 32 mph

I hit myself really hard in the crotch getting off this thing when I was 10 and I still remember it.
Me and my friend got stuck at the tippy top for 10min. If the ride breaks its actually better cuz you get the enjoy the amazing view.

Scariest ride
This ride is NOT FOR KIDS! I went up with my 8 YO and while she was over the height limit she was too slim for this ride, they also asked her to sit on the right side which tilted down. The harness was nit thigh enough and I was terrified that with one wrong move she will slip out. There should be a weight limit and it need to be for higher people.

I’m on a diet so I can ride this thing again and I’ve managed to lose some pandemic weight and I’m still going eating Caesar salad and scrambled eggs and drinking diet ginger ale and checking my blood sugars
Visited wonderland this past July and my diet worked I fit on windseeker and it was an awesome day splashworks was especially relaxing
