Alex really developed into a lovely person. I remember thinking she was so awkward when she was younger.

@Chuck U Farley like people have enough context to be confused about the show. like how did Alex end up working for her grandfather? Why would someone who doesn't have context feel confused. They'll accept it to be a fact. But someone who knows Alex is a science person will wonder what is she doing working for jay's company. Clearly there is some gap in knowledge.

She is working in her own office and She needed an assistant so she hired Margaret cuz Jay told her to hire her . She also interviewed people but the person she was getting was very very hot and she couldn't stop giggling so Jay told her to get Margaret as She can't work for him anymore .

I am sorry about Marsha Kramer's passing. Although, seems like she had an interesting life. I love the show...Modern Family. I will miss it so much when it ends.
This is a very wonderful relationship they were like siblings helping eachother even in the most bizarre moments
Alex got a nice job with amazing perks after graduating, Haley got a family and a job that she loves but Luke and Manny had some ambiguous career there. As far as I remember Luke work at Jay's club, taking class at community college, less screen time since season 5, and literally become distant from his sisters also literally the only character who had little loveline. Manny on the other hand had lots of loveline but his career seems undeveloped tho. Overall I think this last season had very little character and storyline development
For Luke they mentioned that he was thinking of dropping out of college to run his tech startup. He even got a venture capitalist to partner and fund him.
Manny was a struggling theater actor at the end I guess
Luke finally went to college. Luke is still very young. Plus he had that medical form app thing with Scotty. Luke was all set.
Manny was all set too. An up coming play write plus he was going on a year long voyage with his dad.
If you see the final episode Alex quits her fancy job with perks and got something for lower pay and had to move back with her parents.
And we always have Mitchell 🤣🤣🤣😆

Ongo Gablogian does it make her look good though? That she is a genius and isn’t pursuing her passion for science (or whatever it is) and is instead going to do a boring office job selling closets?
I think it would have made her look better to make her a wildly sought after and successful scientist and leave the closet business up to literally any one of the other kids.
Like Manny. He would make more sense than anybody. Plus it would be a good storyline of “I can pass the family business on to somebody who is family - but not by blood”

No, you wouldn't. I was actually sexually assaulted at work and all I was offered was a DEMOTIION while they let my assaulter....who was a supervisor walk free. And lawyers couldn't do anything because there were no cameras or witnesses. Although he ended up catching himself in a lie when people asked me why I resigned and I said I found a job close to home and he came out of nowhere and say he touched my "back" and I went crazy........ugh scum bag. Our manager, however, was fired because when I resigned I put how she made me open and close the door with my assaulter and he ended up quitting because he kept getting caught in lies and people realized how disgusting he was. They didn't even care that I went crying to HR literally the moment after it happened.

She’s the only one to retire. And no characters are killed off. Ex boyfriends are dealt with in previous seasons. The last season focuses mainly on the main casts themselves. Just watch the damn show instead of giving poor speculations based on one tiny scene.

I'm just waiting for season 11 to come on dvd, I have 1-10.
I used to love this show up until like season 6. I loved season 5 with the proposal and wedding and everything in between and I am still at season 8 or something because I just can’t watch it anymore it has become such an awkward show now when the kids have grew up, i liked it more when it was more about the adults and the kids were just kids.. Like many shows this should’ve ended years ago. Does it get any better if I already feel like this or should I just not watch the final 2-3 seasons and just have my imaginary ending?
Personally for me, Haley's character arc was my only reason for watching Seasons 9-10.
Unfortunately, I think you might be unsatisfied with the end of her arc where she ends up back together with Dylan.
So I would give it a pass.
