About Rudy's age, this is from the lightnovel btw since that's the most recent version I've read. Rudy was 15 when he enrolled at the magic academy. He spent a year without realizing who Fitts was. Then he got married and spent about half a year living with Sylphie before leaving for the Begaritt continent. It took about another halfyear before he made it back to the Academy. So he should be 17 years and a few months by then.
If I remember correctly Roxy was in the labyrinth for nearly a month. Rudy brought a book with him that described the whole labyrinths layout and the monsters and shit which helped enormously. If Rudy hadn't gone to help Geese would have come up with the idea of selling his own map at a low cost so that more people would challenge the labyrinth alongside their group. Eventually leading to a Zeniths rescue without Paul dying. But this is all Hitogami information so it's hard to say if it's true. He might just be lying, there's a chance the whole party would've died if Rudy didn't go to help. It's hard to discern what is the truth and what are lies with Hitogami.
I think trying to finish the full story in the next podcast will be too much. Maybe ending it after the war arc is a good idea. The war and turning point 4 is a lot to talk about already and you could go over all the advice Hitogami has given if you feel like it. And I'd love to hear your thoughts regarding Nanahoshis breakdown. I think that was a pretty big moment you guys didn't mention this time. Looking forward to the next podcast.
I agree, I think war arc is probably a good spot to end for the next one. Yeah, we didn't talk a lot about Nanahoshi as a character, partially because a lot of her bigger moments will come in the next section, but also partially because I did a video talking in depth on my thoughts on Nanahoshi (the Shizue vs. Nanahoshi one) so it kind of felt like tredding covered ground. We'll discuss it next time though for people who haven't watched that though. Thanks for all the replies and support!
Berserk Cast sounds like a great idea. Also another good Mushoku Tensei cast.
Thanks! Yeah, I think a Berserk cast would be great. Definitely can get a couple more people for that as well.
