Given that Aly is the best english teacher on youtube, I'll always follow his lessons...that's a given!
Boom! 🤘🤓 amazing example
your presence gives off lots of relaxing vibes, Aly!
It's a given Aly is the best teacher Eva' on RUclips. Love from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
Given the fact that you're the best englisch teacher on RUclips it's a only a given that I'm already subscribed to your channel.
All the other lessons were so bad that I'd ask them to give me back my money and maybe give away the old, clunky school books.
Thanks to you I've not yet given up on practicing my English skills and I'm pretty sure I'd give my PS5 to become such a master of the language like you are.
So pls, share your wisdom and give us the enlightenment we all strife for.
Cheers
2:30 A ripe mango gives off a sweet scent. Sometimes you collect squashed mangos from supermarket shelves. On inspection, the depressions of mushy pulp have the telltale hallmark of finger indentations...
I met a lovely man when I was grocery shopping a couple of days ago. He was so kind and gave off such positive energy.
Hi Aly,
In french, we say for example "Je donnerais tout pour..." = "I'd give everything to...". And there is the expression "On lui donnerait le bon Dieu sans confession", that we use for someone who looks so honest that you can't imagine this person doing something bad = "We'd give him (or her) the God without confession".
Thank your for your english lessons, I love the way you teach ! 👍🙏🤗
On emploie pourtant l'expression " on lui donnerait le bon Dieu ..." au conditionnel à posteriori, quand les personnes ont commis un pêché. En anglais, on dirait " We/One would not have thought/imagined that he could commit such a sin "
@@cyruschang1904 Dans ce cas, on utilise le conditionnel passé : "On lui aurait donné le bon Dieu sans confession".
@@sandrinestefaniak5179 Et oui. On est d'accord 😀
@@cyruschang1904 😊
In brazilian portuguese we use similar constructions: I'd give (something) to have (other) and Given that (some situation) + (a consequence).
Here we have a song that says: Eu daria tudo pra não te perder.
(I'd give...)
And we use to say (in formal speech): Considerando que or Dado que...
(Given that...)
Hello! I saw you for first time and you gave me off a very good impression!! Thank you!
True ! .... It IS a given that Aly is the best teacher on RUclips ! Por supuesto que es el mejor teacher !🇦🇷🇬🇧🇦🇷🇬🇧🇬🇧

0:23 “The Slap 2” !!! 😂👍
(Give it back! No? Slaaap!!! 😅)
No doubt that he's the best teacher... I really liked cuz he spoke Spanish perfectly...
We use "i would give my all to ..." in Turkish too. It can be translated as "... için her şeyimi verirdim". But we most commonly use this form: "nelerimi vermezdim" which means "what wouldn't i give"
Great!
Yea, in Moroccan Arabic we say "I would give half of my life to see her again"..
As always informative, Thanks
It is a given that you are the best teacher 👏
Thanks for the update 🙏🏻
The example with the boss, it's kind of common in br pt: the past participle being used like that .

Great lesson Ali in spanish given that... means "Dado que.." and it is a nice elocuent way to speak, whether you use it as informal o formal way.
"Given that my hairdresser's is on vacation, I will have to keep my hair a mess".. jeje. I hope it's correct
"Given that" in Spanish "dado que". Algo "dado" 👍
Hi, Aly!!! Long time no see! Great video as usual! Your videos really help to not give up learning English! :)
Nice!!!

It was given I would have loved your video! You are number 1
Wooow! 👏👏👏🔥❤️❤️❤️... This lesson has really some give! Given that you're the best English teacher on RUclips, it's a given that I'll keep on watching your videos. I truly hope that you will give the feedback to me about my tries to use the verb "to give" correctely...
If you do so, it will of course give me the envy to keep on improving my English! ✨🎊🎉🎈
AMAAAAAZING!! ✌️🤓
"This lesson has some give" ❌ ne se dit pas
Dans la vidéo, the mango/the bed has (got) some give veut dire qu'ils ne sont pas trop durs.
It will give me the envy ... ❌
envy en anglais = la jalousie en français
This will keep me motivated to continue improving my English
@@papateachme ❤️❤️❤️
@@cyruschang1904 merci beaucoup pour le feedback !
On traduit " j'ai envie de " par " I really want to, I really like to"
Cette leçon donne vraiment : this lesson is very/really useful.
Non, on n'emploie " to have some give " pas seulement pour parler des fruits. Dans la vidéo, il a dit aussi " the bed has some give " = le lit, ou plus précisément le matelas, n'est pas trop dur. Dans les deux cas, on vérifie la fermeté (du lit et du fruit) avec les mains pour savoir s'ils sont trop durs ou pas.
Amaaaaaziiiing...he spoke Portuguese 🥰

who eats a mango like that?😂😂 by the way, you're so helpful sir!! love from India.❤️
Sir , I am from Indian. I would like to know about the difference between ' given and given that. Where to use given and where to use given that.
