Spray and flour the cake pan well and then use a soft toothbrush to gently clean anything that won't come out of the cracks. You can make little pumpkin shaped Bundt cakes by putting two cakes together. Good find
My dad had a printing press in our basement. He also had a paper cutter. In addition to working 6 days a week, he also printed our Church directory’s, wedding invitations, Business Stationary, etc. in the evenings and Saturdays. This tray is from a large chest of several drawers, each cubby held one letter, upper and lower case, as well as punctuation , in a couple of fonts. It was all set one by one, line by line in a special tray. Tedious work back in the day. The letters were made of lead. I watched the process as a child. This is how my dad “made ends meet” for his family.
I had a printers tray in my room when I was a little girl . My mom and I used to collect little trinkets and figurines from antique stores and display them. It was so much fun. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories ! Love your channel so much !! 😊
I nearly jumped out of my seat as well, since my dad was a printer! He worked for a company called, American Bank and Stationery Company. They were a company that printed checks. Anyway, good move replacing the printer drawer on the wall, looks better! My mom had the same tupperware canisters, colour and all! She also had the avocado green ones as well. I like how you repurpose finds! Keep it up, since it inspires me to do the same!
I’m glad you decided to move the two brass framed prints because the corner in your bedroom looks fantastic!! But I do prefer the toile pillow and no table. Something for all of us thrifters to remember is that shower curtains, tablecloths, and curtains or draperies are excellent large pieces of fabric so think outside of the box with what you can do with them!
Add seasonal garland to your door bed...change it out each season. Maybe frame out crochet pieces or embroidery flowers, butterflies, birds for door headboard.
Changing pillow 👍 Taking table out 👍 If I did anything else I would put a basket on the floor where the table was n put blankets hanging out n maybe a couple of rolls of tea stained parchment paper. Making it look like printing paper. Just a thought.
The printers tray is actually called a typesetter drawer, some call them a letterpress tray. They held tiny little metal letters (called sorts) that very talented men, like my dad, would pull to create your printed pages in newsprint and magazines. A fast typesetter was a highly coveted employee. The Oregonian head hunted my dad from the Chicago Tribune in the 40’s. His hands were massive but when he opened those drawers his hands turned into tiny tornados pulling type. He eventually owned a print shop in Portland printing the very first run of Nike letterhead, invoices, and business cards. 😊
God bless that Goodwill cashier. We really need to see and sincerely appreciate that human kindness to remind us that there is hope for humanity. Most good people go silently. This is why I watch your videos Julie. I love who you and your gorgeous family are. You are a treasure. I always use butter with a good dusting of flour in my trays and things don’t usually stick. Just let baked goods sit and cool for a few moments before turning out. What a great video. Have fun till next week.
I like that you removed the green table & added the buffalo check pillow. I would take it one more step & add a basket with greenery next to the chair. Printer tray looks beautiful on that wall !
The little jar that you bought for the candle, were sold with Borden's Cremora coffee creamer, you could buy the small or large jars, my dad would buy them, because mom liked them. They were sold in the 70s.
When I was young my first full time job was working at a printing and mailing facility. The typesetting department was still using lead type in the early 70’s and all the pieces were stored in these drawers, which went into a large cabinet.
I love the corner with the printer's tray and the pictures, plus taking the green table out makes it look better. I would like to see a bigger wreath on your headboard.
I like the planter. If you repot the plant pop it in a terracotta or plastic :( pot with drainage holes then put that pot with the plant into the planter. Most plants prefer to be in a pot with drainage. I like your bedroom corner without the green table, unless you find something nice to tie in with the whole scene. The first cushion was prettier for a bedroom. Thank you for sharing your videos I enjoy seeing how you use your finds.
Yes, I do like the printer tray and the pictures together, they just work, get rid of the wreath, no not that check pillow, put the blue pillow back, do you have a wooden little table or a small white table. Great haul, totally agree with you on not putting up a minor child's picture. Outside with the plant and bowl
I have tiny Bundt pans like that( individual). I use Joy baking spray and clean them with a child’s toothbrush that I keep for kitchen duties… I just love the books you get ! I’m such a bookworm and can feel and smell the pages of the gorgeous books you thrift.❤
Love the plaid pillow, no green table. I personally love the bowl inside. It's a beautiful piece. I love watching you each week. You are my favorite "show"! Love you!!!!
Back in the 1980’s Printer Draws we’re all the rage. I would fill the little spaces with miniatures. Dollhouse furniture pieces or tiny animals etc. yours looks great just as an architectural piece ❣️
Amber container ,,lol someone changed the top from the 1.99 to the .99 cents one .. oh ya inside with the plant pot ..the metal maybe bugging the plant growth and it may need deeper soil for its roots ..love your videos love how you use it in your home ..
Hello Julie, Loved all of your buy's. Those 2 pictures, ahead of your tray , were very nice. We don't get too many nice ones any longer. Also I happened to notice that your washer wasn't filling very well. I had this problem and it cost me $$$. So I wanted to tell you that there are screens either inside the hoses or washer it'self. And they trap small amounts of dirt , which block the flow. You might alreadybe aware of this. I just wanted to let you know. Just undo both ends and clean. I'm getting ready for your candle making.😀. Oh and metal gives off toxin's that can destroy a plant. I buy as many old books and read most of them. Take Care and God Bless.
Thank you so much Pat! My washer was doing that because it only fills if the lid is closed so I was trying to hurry and get a shot 😂 But I sincerely appreciate your help.
I actually like the headboard better with just the wreath...I also like the little table removed...love the printers tray and the ironstone creamer...great finds!
I like the last way you styled the corner in your bedroom. I think the planter will look great on your table. I look forward to every single video you post. You and your family have a blessed weekend.
Hi Julie! I really liked the key that was in the cart, the incese box at 1:09, the gold frame at 8:15, the frame at 9:20, the clock, the amber jar and the amber plate. I think the plant would look better in the house. Thank you for taking me along with you. Pet Piper and have a great week!
I love the printers tray! In the 1970’s they were so popular and we collected miniature things to go inside each cube…it was sooo much fun! Okay! I was glad you moved the green table. It might be okay if it was painted white! With a semi glass paint. Now…here’s what Debbie would do! I’d get me some small blue and white plates. Hang them spaced out above, below, or both …around the printers tray. Then put either of your blue and white pillows on the chair. Next… paint the table glossy white, put a sweet lamp on it with a doily kinda draping over the table. Put your blue and white dutch shoe on the table too with a blue colored book and a pair of spectacles! Soooo cute! Then….get 2 large blue and white plates or platters and hang them on each side of the wreath on your headboard. Voilà…this is what Debbie would do!💖💕💖
I made bunch of candles in half orange skins. I cleaned them out and studded them with cloves and filled them with wax and a wick. I saw the idea in a magazine for Christmas. When I tried one out it was fine and smelt great. But a few weeks later I lit one and the dried skin lit up in a ball of flames on the table! Luckily I had not given them away as yet. Your caution is absolutely right on.
Tweaking a spot till it's just right is sometimes the most satisfying thing! Yes, removing the green table and changing the cushion made all the difference. I think I preferred the big pot in your kitchen space with your re-potted plant. 🪴 Thanks for another entertaining video!
Do the other pillow, no table or a wood or white one. Love how the tray and pictures look in that corner!Pot outside on patio table. Baker's Joy spray will work the best for the bunt pan.
Make sure you do research on your candle container. I have seen a container break with candle burning and fire quickly spreads, luckily we were in the room and could put it out quickly. Also this was just a tea light!
I prefer the buffalo check pillow without the table in the bedroom and the wheat yellowish pot with the repotted plant on the dining table. And I wish you’d picked up the Heidi book😊. Love all your videos and tfs❤
Hi Julie, you've asked for our opinions so here is one:)) Your little corner looks gorgeous with those two prints and the printers tray , I love the chair and both pillows. The green table is asking fir a little hanging plant , looks a bit bare without anything on it. But to me what doesn't go with the look is your lamp. I think it's too heavy for your bedroom and for those items in the corner. I would put thinner and mire ornate lamp there , maybe glass stem or so ... I do love the items you buy , the little corner stole my heart 💝
These crock’s your finding, with the wire closer clip, are pottery that were made for a cheese mail order Co. that sent catalogs out in Octoberish for Christmas cheese, sausage, candy, nuts etc. I had tons of them at one time and donated them to the Salvation Army 💕🙏🙏
I have that brown crock exactly the same one except my daughter dropped it when she was a kid and I glued the cover and it’s like new. I love my old stuff. Thanks Julie for sharing
I love where you put your printer's tray. I had one years ago and would put miniatures in the little holes....like thimbles, dolls, animals....such as that.....
Those Bundt can are a joy to use, I have two and make the perfect cakes, just spray good, not hard to clean we, let oak in soapy warm water for a few minutes and use a small brush to help get between those little groves probably want need it if sprayed well
The brown jar with the lid and be used to make a two-for by removing the white seal and making a candle in the lid also. It is nice if you use coordinate fragrances and burn at the same time.
I was gonna suggest you switch the pillow out. And I like the Plaid much better. I was wondering if maybe try the table on the opposite side. But I do love the tray and pictures there.
Like the checked pillow in the chair colorwise and the table gone. I did like the printers tool hanging better than I thought. It might be a good spot for some vintage jewelry pieces you love like pins or small collectibles here and there or pretty as is. I loved that kitty key holder thing and that amber cake plate you didn't get. I liked the old bowl planter outside. I agree that a larger wreath on your headboard might be nice but the other one isn't bad and I like it alone. Your wall did turn out very nice and much more realistic than I thought it would be. When you started I thought now that's going to be a mess, lol, and I know it would be if I had tried it. I don't have that much patience. The Fieldcrest Tablecloth was a surprise. Here in VA we once upon a time had a Fieldcrest Plant until all our furniture manufacturers and textiles went to China. Fieldcrest and DuPont were the best paying jobs here. Also about 30 minutes away we had a Fieldcrest outlet store that we could buy their things cheaper. That store now is filled with booths where resellers set up. Reminded me of better times in this area.
Oh wow the yellow pot inside for sure, with the plant, looked beautiful. Also the bedroom without the table and with the new pillow looked beautiful ❤️
No to the little table. Like the plaid pillow better. Like the corner after changes. The pot would look cute with your vine inside. The amber glass jar could have had the lid switched but either way will look cute with a candle in it. Glad you explained the wooden piece. I had no idea. Great finds. TFS!
When you were thrifting you picked up something I have purchased and I have enjoyed it. It's a wooden turkey. The wooden pieces have stakes in them and you put them on a pumpkin and it looks like a turkey. My grandkids get a kick out of it.
I love the printer tray..I really like those 2 pictures there beside it, instead of on your headboard..the faux brick wall behind your bed looks very glam, and to me, your headboard looks so much more high end with just the wreath...I like the chair without the green table..maybe put a short stand there by it with a green plant on it n it would cover up the cord..the lamp n table was competing with each other..I'm in love with your faux brick wall...tall out done yourself on it..I like the heavy concrete style flower pot on your patio table..but in the end, you have to be pleased with it all, or you will never be happy...lol..thanks for taking us all along on your thrift store shopping..have a blessed weekend..
Love the mini make over in your bedroom.definately the 2nd pillow.the printers tray was such a find! Oh my gosh! That linen tablecloth for 2.99! Wow.i have a tiny house with just a teeny little bistro table so I would use that like fabric and sew a nice tunic top as I love linen tunics! That Nordic pan will be perfect for donuts.wash it well then grease with a neutral oil, leave for an hour or so then, using a paper towel, wipe all the oil off.each time u bake with it,spray with your spray really well
I love printer's drawers, too. I saw one in an antique store last week for $70 and it stayed right where I saw it. I liked the buffalo plaid pillow and the green table being moved to finish the look of the drawer. I'm so happy for you that you found such a treasure for such a great price.
Buffalo check pillow and no green table, perhaps put a basket next to the chair with blankets in it. Green plant in the pot outside. Your plant inside does need to be repotted into a deeper pot with drainage holes. I would not make a candle out of your wonderful old nautilus creamer. I have a pan like that, and yes it is hard to clean. Make sure you go heavy on the spray or butter when greasing the pan for muffins etc.
I have discovered Dawn Powerwash spray does a magnificent job cleaning greasy and hard to clean crevice pans, such as bunt pans. Just spray a generous amount and leave for several minutes, then wash normally.
Oh My Goodness…A printer’s tray. How fabulous. Your area is very pretty. Have you thought about applying a couple of light, distressed, stencils. I’m doing that to my bed head bare spots. I buy thrifted linen now. I have picked up some beautiful, quality pieces for pennies. New, linen it is so expensive.
I have a bunt pan just like the one you bought. I make small pineapple upside down cakes in mine. My husband loves them. I spray and put a little flour in mine. I've never had any trouble cleaning mine. The person that had it before you may not have done that or not cleaned it well. 😍😍♥️♥️♥️
Julie, I'm so envious of your printer's tray - in fact I'm envious of all you thrifters in the US. Charity shops here in the UK are so small and there is not the variety of things that you have -mostly clothes, books, toys and ornaments. Love the way you styled it and definitely prefer the plaid pillow.
Enjoyed this video. I think that if you need the little table in that corner for your husbands pocket goodies, maybe throwing a small lace tablecloth over it would bring the corner together. If I'm not mistaken that little vine likes to be crowded in the pot in order to cascade down. So, repoting it would depend on how you want it to grow. Either way would look good inside or on your patio. Plants are such nice decor no matter where. Loved all your finds today. God bless and have a fantastic weekend.
That printer tray is to die for!!! Gurl I would have ran too!
I think a nice old rocking chair would be perfect there.
The antique printers. Drawer was amazing!
Thank you 😊
Spray and flour the cake pan well and then use a soft toothbrush to gently clean anything that won't come out of the cracks. You can make little pumpkin shaped Bundt cakes by putting two cakes together. Good find
I like the black and white pillow. Inside on the bowl. 😊 I enjoy watching your videos. Learn a lot from you . Have a blessed day
My dad had a printing press in our basement. He also had a paper cutter. In addition to working 6 days a week, he also printed our Church directory’s, wedding invitations, Business Stationary, etc. in the evenings and Saturdays. I love vintage and antiques and you really know how to shop, love your style
I enjoy your thrifting because you are buying for yourself. That's me! So much fun!
In the patio it looks great
Your cake pan says Bundt - lette. You know , meaning little Bundt cakes. It would even look charming hanging on a wall. It is so visually appealing!
Thank you 😊 I did hang on the wall 😁 Great minds.
I like it without the green table. The last pillow I like. It blends in with the pictures. I love it.
Thank you 😊
I had a printers tray in my room when I was a little girl . My mom and I used to collect little trinkets and figurines from antique stores and display them. It was so much fun. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories ! Love your channel so much !! 😊

My mom had the same tupperware canisters, colour and all! She also had the avocado green ones as well.
I like how you repurpose finds! Keep it up, since it inspires me to do the same!
The plaid pillow, no table, and a plain headboard. That’s the best set up.
Thank you 😊 and absolutely! I’ve used many things like that for shower curtains ☺️
Add seasonal garland to your door bed...change it out each season. Maybe frame out crochet pieces or embroidery flowers, butterflies, birds for door headboard.
The printer tray is to die for and those vintage looking frames are gorgeous together.
Thank you 😊
Changing pillow 👍 Taking table out 👍 If I did anything else I would put a basket on the floor where the table was n put blankets hanging out n maybe a couple of rolls of tea stained parchment paper. Making it look like printing paper. Just a thought.
Thank you 😊 and oh what a fun idea!
Put it inside the house Julie, because it suits so well xx
The printers tray is actually called a typesetter drawer, some call them a letterpress tray. This is awesome information! Thank you so much 😊
I WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE THE TABLE AWAY AND MAYBE TAKE THE PILLOW TOO....BUT I LOVE THE PRINTER'S TRAY....
Thank you Donna 😊 I ended up taking away the pillows and table.
God bless that Goodwill cashier. We really need to see and sincerely appreciate that human kindness to remind us that there is hope for humanity. Most good people go silently. This is why I watch your videos Julie. I love who you and your gorgeous family are. You are a treasure.

Love the printers tray. I would paint the little green table black to tie in with the pillow and the frames on the two pictures. Just a suggestion!
I like that you removed the green table & added the buffalo check pillow. I would take it one more step & add a basket with greenery next to
the chair. Printer tray looks beautiful on that wall !
Thank you 😊
The little jar that you bought for the candle, were sold with Borden's Cremora coffee creamer, you could buy the small or large jars, my dad would buy them, because mom liked them. They were sold in the 70s.
Oh nice. Thank you 😊
When I was young my first full time job was working at a printing and mailing facility. The typesetting department was still using lead type in the early 70’s and all the pieces were stored in these drawers, which went into a large cabinet.
Yes table away. Now it’s perfect. Either pillow. Looks great
Thank you 😊
I love the corner with the printer's tray and the pictures, plus taking the green table out makes it look better. I would like to see a bigger wreath on your headboard.
Thank you so much!
The checker pillow like the table
I like the planter. If you repot the plant pop it in a terracotta or plastic :( pot with drainage holes then put that pot with the plant into the planter. Most plants prefer to be in a pot with drainage. I like your bedroom corner without the green table, unless you find something nice to tie in with the whole scene. The first cushion was prettier for a bedroom. Thank you for sharing your videos I enjoy seeing how you use your finds.
Thank you Dawn!
I love how the corner looks with the printer tray and pictures look.

Oh awesome! Thank you so much 😊 oh I know. I love green them too!
It's beautiful in the corner
Thank you 😊
The planter on the table outside ! Looks pretty and brings out the colors of the table !

Hello Julie, Loved all of your buy's. Those 2 pictures, ahead of your tray , were very nice. We don't get too many nice ones any longer.

I buy as many old books and read most of them.

Thank you so much Pat! My washer was doing that because it only fills if the lid is closed so I was trying to hurry and get a shot 😂 But I sincerely appreciate your help.
Julie all you have to do after you use the bunt pan, just soak it in sopy hot water and leave it to soak xx
Thank you 😊
I actually like the headboard better with just the wreath...I also like the little table removed...love the printers tray and the ironstone creamer...great finds!

The printer tray is beyond…❤️❤️❤️
I found 5 of these printer's trays at a fair for $5 dollars each!! I bought them all!
You are right, the bedroom corner looks much better! 👏🏼👍🏼
Thank you 😊
I love the printer tray is now and the 2 pictures with it ! So pretty!
I have a printers tray that’s filled with shells from the beach and I love it. I look everywhere for them, they are so hard to find!
Thank you 😊 oh that’s awesome!
Love how you decorated the corner space, you did good taking out the table, the pictures and the plaid pillow are great. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you 😊
Yrs the corner in uour bedroom looks great. I like the plaid pillow, I think the green table looked good there too. Good video.
Thank you Kay!
I love my Bundt pans. The end results are so impressive. I spray my pan and lightly flour it
No to the little table. Like the plaid pillow better. Like the corner after changes. The pot would look cute with your vine inside. The amber glass jar could have had the lid switched but either way will look cute with a candle in it. Glad you explained the wooden piece. I had no idea. Great finds. TFS!

Thank you so much much for all your help.
I like the printer tray with the 2 pictures at the side. Just beautiful. I like the blue and white checked pillow and no green table.
Thank you 😊
Love the mini make over in your bedroom.definately the 2nd pillow.the printers tray was such a find!
Oh my gosh! That linen tablecloth for 2.99! Wow.i have a tiny house with just a teeny little bistro table so I would use that like fabric and sew a nice tunic top as I love linen tunics!
That Nordic pan will be perfect for donuts.wash it well then grease with a neutral oil, leave for an hour or so then, using a paper towel, wipe all the oil off.each time u bake with it,spray with your spray really well
Thank you so much 😊
I love printer's drawers, too. I saw one in an antique store last week for $70 and it stayed right where I saw it. I liked the buffalo plaid pillow and the green table being moved to finish the look of the drawer. I'm so happy for you that you found such a treasure for such a great price.
Thank you so much 😊
In the bedroom n table. On the table outside for the plant
I like the blue pillow with the green table.
Thank you so much! I know on the creamer. I’ve already styled it and love it.
I liked the table. The pop of color. Not sure about the checked pillow, liked the blue one better. Love the printer drawer!
Thank you 😊
I like the planter in the dining room and on the patio table. Tough decision. 😊
Thank you 😊 I know.
That's a great idea putting a candle in that pretty piece.
Looks good without table. Maybe a magazine rack of some kind.👍👍❤
Thank you 😊
I have a few smaller printer drawers. I got mine back in the 80’s. They did not cost too much back then. The one you found is stunning.
Thank you 😊
Love it without the table! Buffalo check pillow keep also!
The # 2 pillow is gorgeous..maybe something green, like a plant 🪴
I have discovered Dawn Powerwash spray does a magnificent job cleaning greasy and hard to clean crevice pans, such as bunt pans. Just spray a generous amount and leave for several minutes, then wash normally.
Oh thank you! Great tip!
Thank you Marley! I’ve never thought of that.
I love the corner area now with the plaid pillow and no table. Love the printer block with the rocker.
Thank you 😊
I have a bunt pan just like the one you bought. I make small pineapple upside down cakes in mine. My husband loves them. I spray and put a little flour in mine. I've never had any trouble cleaning mine. The person that had it before you may not have done that or not cleaned it well. 😍😍♥️♥️♥️
Ok I really like the corner much better now. I never cared for the green table. The blue toile might work better without the green table.
Thank you 😊
Julie, I'm so envious of your printer's tray - in fact I'm envious of all you thrifters in the US. Charity shops here in the UK are so small and there is not the variety of things that you have -mostly clothes, books, toys and ornaments. Love the way you styled it and definitely prefer the plaid pillow.
Thank you Suzi!
Thank you so much 😊
