  • Walk around and Drive Demo of my Cub Cadet, showing the items repaired during the two years I have owned this wonderful work horse. One cannot appreciate what International Harvester made unless you have experienced the performance, and ease of maintainability of these old timers. It has been a pleasure, and I will hate to see her go...

Great overview! I'm thinking about getting a 149.

Easy to install blade... I must be doing something wrong because it's a royal pain in the behind to get it all to line up just right.

I have one, Id love to figure out a way to swap the location of the gas tank and the battery. Id also like to have two brake pedals for left and right so that I can modulate traction.

To do that you have to have disc brakes and buy a double pedal system from a 82 series wide frame make a custom mount and run the rods back to the disc brakes

Nice ih cub cadet, I also got a 1972 149 and can't find a decent voltage regulator for it.

Ron Kline you can use a voltage regulator from a GM car from back when they had generators not alternators.

P.S. Buddy your front tires are on backwards ,, if you look on the side of the tires you will see tire rotation there ,,, they need to be on same way as your back tires

that is so you can steer it-- you run them that way buddy

With the tread pattern on the AG tires in front when you turn to steer they lose their bite. It is recommended to install them the way he has them on front wheels.
