@@ShadowJ5020 its actually not that bad on controller since the input keeps the charge for a little while, i just do neutral jab sometimes after charging ↙ and then i do ↘↙↖ + 3 kicks pretty fast. This guy is absolutely amazing for being able to pull it off consistently online so major props to him
@@hatingonoats8541 To confirm the ultra is going to hit. If the Makoto had blocked he would not have pressed 3K to finish the ultra. He is inputting the ultra motion, pressing LP, if it counter hits he presses 3K to finish it, if not do something else and not waste the ultra. To be clear this requires insane timing and reactions, I can't confirm shit off of a LP counter hit. Also it's not necessarily always the best thing to do, in this situation if the Makoto had timed her meaty properly it would have beat Guile's LP, whereas a scrubby raw ultra would have beat her meaty.

@@edouardlate116 "poverty" (non-perjorative), this is a complete package of an all-time great fighting game for less than $10 during a Steam sale. SF6 is still a work in progress (already a massive banger though), but costs $60 for the base game and two character passes for like $30 or $40 each, although the base game is also going on sale pretty often now that there's more than one set DLC of characters OP is making it way harder on himself picking the cheaper game cus the only ones left playing have practically all mastered it and there's less modes in the game itself to help you learn the very basics. but I guess it's the quickest way to improve if you keep at it, and it's still one of my all-time favorites

Basically you can buffer inputs In a punch or kick frame/animation. Easy to do on a keyboard or hitbox.. pretty hard to do on a controller. A lot of practice and muscle memory to do it that quick.
I remember playing Arcade Edition back in the PS3 days and then found out about UltraSF4 a few weeks after and feeling really crap because I got the wrong version of the game. I never experienced Elena but I did experience trying to do a Z input on a DPad in a literal Z

Yeah Mostly trades and also by learning the animations you see which confirms can happen pretty much.They hit and thats it.btw hiw do you do double backdash twice in ultra1 with vega!? I know how you do it but how fast is the stick movements to do the double backdash twice first? Your moving stick so much you dont have enough charge so how you even do it? It just feels not enough charge its really weird.

Generally if someone’s wakeup backdash gets punished with whiffed light into something else it’s an option select.
