I don't know if it's just me, but I sometimes find myself liking sparring session better than actual fight nights.

Porter has been schooled right, he kept his guard up when ever he wasn't throwing. Rhodes, a good fighter but he is always open for the right cross, I would tell him keep at least one hand up, keep your head moving, hit to the body when ever you can, and don't get too comfortable pushing off you opponent with your arm or elbow, you'll loose points. Both are good fighters.
I truly only mean to help a young fighter who handles himself in and out of the ring very well, I Boxed for years but girls and partying led me astray. not complaining it was fun. and I have been a certified Boxing coach for USA Boxing for years now. Last year I trained a 15yr old named Brian Fellicia for way less than a year, and posted his progress on youtube search it and please give your honest opinion. I just want to help a good Man, there rare.

This kid Lydell fight so many guys bigger than him. Porter has fought at 54 before if I'm not mistaken. If this kid is a lightweight, that's pretty good. He handled himself well in there
Fully agree.. that was good work in there by Rhodes. Hands are down too often and definitely hitable buy he was composed. Looks like great hands speed too
Excellent sparring session. I noticed Shawn withheld his natural aggression. Father always there for guidance and positive criticism.

The biggest challenge t o deal with Porter is his constant, never ending pressure. It can keep you off balance and from establishing your own timing. Lydell did a descent job.

I hate the bar face headgear. You have to get used to leather hitting your face that way you will try to better protect yourself by weaving and blocking. That face bar is a false sense of security.

rick richh DO you know as a boxer I know why mayweather and pacman are the best out there, because they do more core exercises than all these duded, except for Khan he does some high level core exercises, you see, your core connects your legs to your hands, and arms, and so the power has to transfer from legs to hands, these guys are good, but not on that level, Porter needs to be learn to box better, hes not patient, brook tore him apart, Porter should fight thurman

I personally can’t stand those face saver headgears. I tried those headgears with the bar across the face once before and haven’t ever tried them again. I believe the headgear with the check protection that comes close enough to your nose is sufficient enough.
