      Khrystofer Ambriz old comment yes, but how often do you come across BJJ black belts and wrestlers? If you’ve actually had fights in the street, you’d know it’s mostly drunks or road men who think they’re all that... rarely a trained fighter. Always beat to avoid a fight in the street to be on the safe side, but MMA is not superior to boxing for self defence IMO. Most fights are people striking, and when it comes to striking MMA just ain’t it

    i never boxed so i would love someone to explain how these drills work. it's so fast that it's no way it's reaction. is it like a choreographed drill where the trainer and boxer both know what pattern is coming? Is the boxer that fast that when a trainer puts a pad up he hits it...even when it's 5 and 6 punch combos?

    • @ynwa9245
      @ynwa9245 8 лет назад

      just happens naturally doing the same routines on the pads all the time

    • @samuelwilliams6678
      @samuelwilliams6678 8 лет назад

      +djk the boxer knows what the coach is going to put up when you see combos like the ones in this video. its "choreographed" but there are other types of drills on the pads where the boxer is supposed to be working on reaction time. We use pad work like you see in this video to increase the speed and fluidity of a boxers combination, but also to engrain reactions, for instance when he slips or dodges a punch he gets use to returning a punch that has a high possibility of success. so your working on the form, speed, setup and fluidity of a combination, as well as plenty other things even though it choreographed for the most part.

So i dont know wth hes talking about.

    Guy's here who are impress doesn't know boxing. There is nothing good in that work. Look into Floyds hand. He is the one who is reaching the glove of his fighter. You think it is speed? Yeah. But because of Senior's hand. The fighter doesn't flex his arms in the full range. So it means it doesn't have power. Go get another trainer nigga.
