  • For the past fifty years it has been said that after the brutal Murder, of the Lucan family nanny, Sandra Rivett which took place in the basement of 46 Lower Belgrave Street, Lucan call here at this house.
The house was owned by a friend of his Madeleine Floorman. It was reported that Mrs Floorman was in bed when she heard someone at the front door. It was late and she thought it was kids messing about, so went back to sleep.
Sometime later again it was reported, (not necessarily related to the Lucan case) that blood was found on her front door step.
Lucan had been taken by surprise having found not only was his wife Veronica still alive, but that the nanny had mistakenly been killed, and the enormous blood loss a washed the walls and floor of his family home. He was a desperate man. Things had not gone according to plan. This became his ‘dream of paranoia.’
