For new players, this is how to farm encrypted materials at Jameson Crash Site.
Location: HIP12099 1B
Materials Trader: Diaguandri - Ray Gateway
Grade 5 - Adapative Encryptors Capture - trade all these
Grade 4 - Atypical Encryption Archives - trade all these
Grade 3 - Cracked Industrial Firmware - trade some of these
Grade 2 - Modified Consumer Firmware - trade some of these (so as not to max out)
Return to the Materials Trader when you max out either of the Grade 4 or 5 materials.
***Aug 2024 Update: there are now 9 beacons to scan, this means that one relog will max out your Adaptive and Atypical mats from zero!
***Its possible to scan from your ship in hover above the crash site and scan each comms beacon.

Yes raw materials are more fun as you get to blast brain trees, the Jameson method does get repetitive, you may feel like you have downed a bottle of Jamesons after an hour. And yet HIP12099 is jam packed full of Fleet Carriers, what are they doing? do they really love it so much or is a hand full of jumps too much for them. Or have they not even engineered their FSDs or got the Guardian FSD booster yet? even though they own carriers. Hey :D Thank u for the video!
I have a question.,
playing ED on my ps5, used the coordinates for the site, it didn’t show up in ‘navigation panel’.
Landed at the coordinates, kept looking for it from the ship, driving around in my srv. it was nowhere to be found!
Any idea why the crash site isn’t showing on my ps5? Any solutions maybe? I’ve already asked google, no clear answers.

Not a clue, I’m not on console, but I think the coords are the same on legacy, from looking at old exegious videos it should be there, unless anybody on console knows?
