Spending money for a good time is a way of life. Gambling can be fun, need strict limits and go into it knowing you have a very high chance of losing money.
Same could be said about people that go to casinos, expensive dinners, expensive cars, multimillion $ houses and other things we really don’t “need” but still enjoy. If people enjoy it I don’t see why other people have to knock it
That goes for all the "blind box" items. Lol I never buy those things. Its the same as gambling, your set up to lose 99% of the time. If you want to throw money away just burn it. Its much faster.
Dang, out of all the Vaultbox Series 3 unboxing videos that I've seen so far none of them have yet to pull a single coin worth breaking even with. It's all a massive phishing stunt designed to keep you addicted and coming back like pokemon cards. Let's hope all of these vault box NGC slabs fetch a premium on the secondary market!
You had fun and didn't do bad. Yup, it's a gamble, thats why it's fun! 😂 I love the word play on your channel name! Almost like a Half-Life Crisis! I'm past mine now and wonder what element I have become! 😂
With S/H $248 No Nada Nope I'll buy some scratch tickets Buy a knife sharperner instead. I want the Goldback - I paid $3.66 2 months ago - It buys $4.04 in goods and servives in the stores today. Give me 248 $1 Goldbacks instead - that would be a big, big win.
@@petesquarterlifecrisis887 I bought them for $3.66 per $1 denom. 2 months ago. Yesterday they bought $4.04 in goods and services at area stores. Another state comes online 8/01/23. 13 more at least soon 24K anonymous fractional gold you hold in your hands if everything goes worse.
You should have also got the 2019 gold American Eagle with the privy mark V75. Only 1,945 were made. I also got it through the Vault Box in MS70. The coin is worth $25,0000 USD.
Red cores I believe are 16% of the packages, so more like 1 in 6 do well (400-500 coin), and then very very few people get the big hits. It's a gamble, but end up with something at the end at least.
@petesquarterlifecrisis887 I should have done this instead of going to the Oklahoma Winstar Casino this week, even with just getting a $90 slab I'd faired better than I did there 💸 🤑 Nice pull for you Pete ! Like you said, better than others.
Can't win them all. I actually don't mind too much, I think Peace dollars are undervalued by the collector market compared to Morgans. I don't collect peace dollars, but I have a couple nicer ones and just plan to hold onto them long term.
I really don't like the fact that that sticker was so loose. That's BS. A vault box should be absolutely secure with no doubt whether the sticker is stuck or not. They make security tape these days. Sounds like you bought it from the actual website so you're probably okay, but there's no way I would ever ever buy one of these on the secondary market. You're about guaranteed that it's searched. Obviously those stickers can be manipulated and reglued if they come off that easy. No bueno. Hard pass.
Ya, but the same as baseball cards. It draws some new people into the hobby. I'm undecided on whether it's a good thing or bad thing. Just want people to know it's definitely gambling.
I re-read my comment and it didn't come across how I had intended, which is why I deleted it. I enjoy your videos, I was trying to make a joke about how many amazing coins you find that something like a hammered coin that we could never in a million years find in the US has become more common place over there. The comment definitely came across more mean spirited, which I did not intend.
@@petesquarterlifecrisis887 Thanks for that Peter its much appreciated... after all the hard work we put in to these videos I can get a bit sensitive at times! 😁 Thanks for taking the time to reply! Hammered coins are not an uncommon find and maybe we do take them a bit for granted, the more non descript and worn ones that is, but they are always a welcome sign that the history of the field in which they are found at least dates to that time! All the Best, Alexander
The folks that sell those, are way smarter than the people, that buy them and they know that.
Spending money for a good time is a way of life. Gambling can be fun, need strict limits and go into it knowing you have a very high chance of losing money.
Total rip off , I bet there is a connection between the person who got the top pick and Albanese 😂
One guy got a F12 Barber quarter , wouldn’t ya be pissed lol

Great vid. Thank you for sharing. Backs up the old life lesson for all but the lucky. Win none, lose many!
You betcha!

I've seen multiple red cores pulled live on whatnot, all of them were 400-500 coins. Nothing huge though.
I subbed just because I love the play on words your channel name is! Looking forward to seeing more!
Thanks for the sub! Hopefully have some new videos out soon.
Thanks. That was fun. No pig in the poke, it was a rabbit.
Appreciate it!
Bummer man, thanks for sharing...
Thanks for watching, love your stuff.
Life is all about taking chances. good video, new friend here
Thanks for watching Will, looks like you make some amazing pours!
@@petesquarterlifecrisis887 Thanks
Man, I’ve only seen one person whose gotten a gold nugget and still haven’t seen the mythical red labeling. Thanks for the video on these 😎🤘
I've watched quite a few opened live on whatnot and seen around 5 red cores but they were only 400-500 coins, no huge hits.
You had fun and didn't do bad. Yup, it's a gamble, thats why it's fun! 😂
I love the word play on your channel name!
Almost like a Half-Life Crisis!
I'm past mine now and wonder what element I have become! 😂
Much appreciated, I love collecting proof quarters, so the channel name made sense! I'm just a bit past my actual quarter life crisis as well. ;)
Where are the quarters
I do need to find a way to do more quarter content!
Darn.. couldn't even had been a 34-s peace dollar... I will never buy a gimmick 📦.
Can't win them all.
It may technically be gambling, but at least you are guaranteed SOMETHING. Can’t say the same with casinos and other forms of gambling
Exactly.
With S/H $248
No Nada Nope
I'll buy some scratch tickets

I'm tempted to try and get 1000 of them to have a full ounce in goldbacks.

13 more at least soon
24K anonymous fractional gold you hold in your hands if everything goes worse.
Good gambling if everyone follows your disclaimer. Good video
Much appreciated. Ya, just wanted to be very clear, it's 100% gambling.
Haven't watched the unboxing yet.... I'm guessing a mint state morgan dollar 😬
You weren't far off.
Someone already took that coin out and replaced it. The fact that the seal sticker is that crappy should tell you everything.
It was direct from NGC / VaultBox, so not likely. Coins I got weren't worth it anyhow.
You should have also got the 2019 gold American Eagle with the privy mark V75. Only 1,945 were made. I also got it through the Vault Box in MS70. The coin is worth $25,0000 USD.
I wish.
95 people get crap , 4 people get ok , so 1 person does good .

Ngc price guide has 175. Better than other videos I have seen
Ya, I had some friends pull a $90 coin. So I'll take it. That's gambling for ya!

u get the shaft, that's what
Often the case when gambling.
For entertainment purposes only.
Still, not a total loss.
Yep, the most likely outcome is losing at least $125.
Sorry bro I wish you would’ve hit a big one. I actually think that getting a 34 piece dollar graded MS 61 is a big turn off.

Nice try. Any "CC" Morgans in the prize list? I enjoyed the video though.
Ya, there was quite a few Carson City coins in the list.
Seen a coin dealer get 3 red core in a row righed
Ya, I watched Ben @thecoingeek open those. He had amazing luck.

Agreed, I wasn't concerned since it came direct from NGC.
all these videos on vaultbox and everyone losing money on this deal , great get rich for vaultbox

They hand the big scores to their buddies at events and large you-tubers. What a scam.
Sadly does seem more likely to be the case.
