Week 1: go through spec + colour code based on strength
Binge past papers, in note form. Use open book if necessary. Write in short form to save time + simplify. English - plans
    Week 2: close gaps
Go through weak topics through Physicsandmathstutor. Print whole sheet of questions on topic.
Space out revision. 2x subjects a day to make process. Focus on difficulty.
3/4hrs a day max. Relax during afternoon, working during morning and evening. Have realistic expectations. Deep work over long studying.
Week 3: Just do last 5 questions of e.g. math
    Week 4: schedule
Use second half/week to review first subjects to refresh knowledge. No point brushing up on a exam that isnt coming up
Dont stress, pray, we'll be okay

I'm pissed because my school isn't letting us out for study leave, they're making us stay in for revision sessions in a regular timetable - I feel like everyone has different preferred study schedules, personally I would prefer to revise what I want, when I want. IDK it might help some people. What are other people's thoughts?

Not even for a week?! You should skip school then because thats just stupid. Please don’t sabotage your grades merely to comply with your school’s rules.

I really need help for Geography cos I barely know stuff and I've just been making flashcards page by page from the revision guide but that's taking too long and teachers are not giving much help. Do I just do past papers? What else?

    • @AndesYT
      @AndesYT 4 месяца назад +5

Blurting is really good for geography, go through each topic and find every case study then pick the facts you need to learn. Then literally just write them over and over again from memory until u memorise them ( and do this like twice a week so u don’t forget them). You can also do this for the explanations for example for the formation of a waterfall. You can make flash cards but do it for things that aren’t case studies like the definition of different words. After you memorise it you can plan past paper questions like he did in the video. This is what I did in my mocks and got a 9 so it should work.

hello Dennis. I have time till 2nd may for my first Cambridge exam for As level. I think I have my concepts cleared only to minimal level and as soon as I open any practice paper, I can not solve anything. I don't know what to do. if you can, please guide me but tell me steps to take since I'm very unclear about my course of action despite watching countless videos including yours

Love the videos. Was wondering if I could ask a quick question
I’ve made too many notes to be honest. I did them in flashcards form on Anki and while a lot of them are genuine flashcards, some of them are just bullet points of notes in flashcards form A lot of them are kinda useless but thats not really a huge problem now as I made them in the past and there’s nothing I can do about it.
I made about 1000 per sciences (including computing) and about 500 for the English’s and 500 for history. The point is. I have way too many to review in 13 days. I think
What I’m doing at the moment is doing past papers but having my flashcards/notes up in-front of me. Like an open book test. However I haven’t done this for long enough to test if this is effective, and I don’t really have the time too now
What I wanna ask is, basically what do i do. I need to do past papers, I have all these notes sitting here. But I won’t be able to review them in 2 weeks (when my exams start). So what do I do
