Actually, the boat shipping industry is the most efficient transportation industry in the world, all the shipping boats in the world contribute to less than 10% (5% I think) of green house gases. Of course their dirty fuel is a catastrophe for the waters when the boats leak, and there's the damage of a global labour market to be consider. But for the first problem it can be solved relatively easily since most boats only use fuel to produce electricity to move the shaft instead of using an IC engine to do so, so we only need a good clean source of electricity generation to transit the industry without having to decommission a bunch of boats.

...... CO2 at 0.04% is a 2,500th part of the atmosphere. That means to warm the climate by just 1"C carbon dioxide molecules must capture 2,500"C of heat energy. That is impossible. It also breaks the fundamental laws of thermodynamics.
Methane at 0.00017% is a 600,000th of the atmosphere so it's even more impossible.
However, the climate is changing. This is because of deliberate geoengineering programmes, in particular ozone thinning away from the poles. Though largely unreported ozone thinning effect is directly observable, in clear skies producing an unnaturally bright sun. Under these conditions the pain felt when looking at the sun is not only from the increase in visible light but the much larger increase in infrared. (Look up at the sky and you will see a range of geoengineering operations in progress, these include chemtrail induced cloud or hazing, ripple patterns caused by HAARP installations, bizarre and unnatural cloud formations).
Climate change is a programme to force change in accordance with the implementation of Agenda 21 /2030. Current events demonstrate this transition is well underway and will involve massive population cull through injected nanotech (re transhumanist programme). Agenda 21 also sees the permanent loss of all property rights with the introduction of universal basic income (ref NESARA/GESARA) and has/is being promoted by The World Economic Forum.
'You will own nothing and you will be happy' WEF
In a depopulated world the surviving brainwashed and controlled population will be confined to mega cities. Carbon limits will be used to restrict consumption and liberty. Meanwhile the re-greened wilderness will be the exclusive playground of the ultra rich elite posing as conservationists.
The CO2 hoax amounts to the theft of the world and the enslavement of humanity by a parasitic few.
      Welcome to the future!
      _________
I have included a debunking of 'accumulated heat' as it is so often used to explain how trace elements, so called 'greenhouse gasses', can warm the planet.
Accumulated heat whilst sounding a reasonable explanation of how heat can build up is rather nothing more than gobbledygook. In fact it shows those using such arguments do not even understand what heat is.
When we measure temperature we are measuring the heat energy a thing is losing. In short heat is a measurement of flow, the transfer of heat energy and this will always be in the direction towards the colder. For this reason a thing can never 'accumulate heat' in the way those advocating CO2 climate change describe. The temperature of a body is the measure of heat output, it can never be greater than the measure of heat input. Output = input. When a thing is warmed it is heated to an equivalent of the heat input. If this input is not maintained it will cool. Those that propose that heat can build up to be hotter than the total measure of heat input at a given time either do not understand what heat is or are being deliberately misleading. To illustrate, an object being heated by a flame can never become hotter than that flame, it's temperature cannot rise inexorably to the temperature of the sun for instance. Heat cannot be accumulated. When we think about it common sense tells us this must be the case.
NASA and even Nobel Prize winning physicists have expounded 'accumulated heat' as the explanation how CO2 is able to warm the atmosphere. They claim that over hundreds of years CO2 has captured heat energy and this heat has 'accumulated' to produce a serious warming effect. As I have just explained, this is totally impossible and fundamentally violates all the laws of thermodynamics. That respected scientists should support such uneducated, unthinking nonsense is disturbing and only reflects that in terms of being able to think clearly about a subject they have no facility or inclination. These are the Dark Ages of science. Belief has outweighed logic or any critical thought. It tells us that we should not unquestioningly accept anything we are told, that experts can be fools.
(NB: be aware of attempts to discard thermodynamics by talking about biology.
Eg. 'It only takes a drop of arsenic to kill a person.'
This would be somewhat desperate, muddled thinking. Clearly biological processes based on the reaction of a cell are not the same as the laws of physics/thermodynamics).

Perhaps, mother nature's recycling the land (and it's original people) back and forth! Speaking of which, may I ask if you care to know the fact that mega genocide of indigenous Native Americans, and their population in Continents of America 500 yrs ago was around 15 millions, while European population in Europe was around 25 millions.
Today, Native Americans population is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continents of America + Europe, is a staggering 'TWO BILLIONS'!
All they need is their beloved motherland back, the lands that their ancestors' forebears had lived through thick and thin, endured through hardships and all for generations.
Besides, indigenous Native Americans in Colonized lands of Anglo British, Spaniard and others are more of the same. Kill the indigenous Natives and whoever is left, marginalize them and create artificial poverty, once that poverty becomes crime and drinking, the media points to the poor and blames them to continue to stigmatize the 'other' community, scumbags, etc.
Amazing fact that Indigenous Natives had built such great civilizations as Mayan, Inca and Aztec without outside help, and all from scratch, and all on their own, since they had been cut off from the rest of the world for twenty thousand years. In other words, they actually are great and proud people.
Imagine what it would be like today if Native Americans had possessed some sort of nuclear weapons to defend themselves, and their beloved motherlands from invaders Colonizers? The answer is they would still have their own beloved motherlands, plus their population comparable to that of the European population.
In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return it to rightful owners Native American people. Remember, notorious global cardinal crimes the West has committed, and benefited a great deals, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is this another notorious Colonization still lingering on, may I ask? 🤔

Because it's BS if you look at it from a different perspective.
Yes climate change is real, Both naturally and some of it through humanity, The problem is all these morons are thinking in terms of a bandaid solution, When the real problem is the very economic system itself no matter which country it is.
It is based around infinite growth and profits for shareholders year after year, It requires never ending growth and more consumers buying things to keep that growth happening all on a finite sized planet with finite resources!
Then you have companies claiming they are green while producing sh!t that doesn't last for 5 years without breaking, Some of it is even planned obsolescence which ends up in landfill or use once and throw away. Much easier to create more profit if things are disposable, What happened to fridges that would last 30+ years like last century? Lucky if one lasts 7 years now.
They want to have their cake and eat it too, Green while still having never ending growth, It won't work long term.
Maybe that's why we now hear them saying you will own nothing and be happy, Yeah well F that, They will still have their 400 private jets flying around to these climate summits producing more pollution than an entire small town, But expect everyone else to live in some shared communal pod eating bugs instead of beef.
I'm all for green, Even have 27 solar panels and a 10kw battery on house but all we are doing is shifting one thing to another, How much waste and production to put all that on every house around the globe?

Fossil fuel barons and the gun lobbies account for the most influential, high spending lobbies in America. In the UK we may not have gun lobbies, but we have an arms manufacturing base that’s almost as big as America’s and disproportionately large for the size of our economy. If we could get lobbying down to even Victorian levels (which were terrible) we’d have halved it. The corporations are the real governments now. Our politicians are mere employees of private interests. Any leader who took them on would face a serious assassination threat, as well as every dirty trick to sneer their reputations in the book.

However, just as with capitalism, socialism can be corrupted by those who are hungry for power and filled with greed. That's why it's so important to look at what has been done wrong within socialist/communist nations in the past to avoid making the same mistakes in the future.

Real socialism where people get the things they need like shelter, food, clean water, clothes, and everyone on an equal footing rather than a small minority getting everything. Where healthcare and dignity is just part and parcel of life. There are small communities that live like this. They don't run on money they are just a community that gives what extra they have to their neighbours. Wish I could remember the name of the place, in south America. That’s what happens when global money chases the maximum return round the world. What should have been said at the time was that NAFTA was supremely un American an act of sabotage of the whole country and basically the western world. China is at the door because we made them. Every Republican or dem for that matter who espouses global trade is basically saying it’s ok to not protect Americans from slave labour in China & Chinese ran African factories that make Chinese ones look like heaven.
Capitalism needs even more regulated that socialism tbh. Because it always carries the seeds for its own destruction up front in it. Hardcore anti-trust laws. No money in politics a bunch of other stuff and you stay with classic village capitalism. Each man selling his wares and the consumer gets to pick the best.
If this gets skewed in any way it all falls down in stages.
The cleverest thing the devil ever did was to convince us he doesn’t exist. In capitalism the cleverest thing they ever did was to make us think unions were communist. It worked because the threat of the Soviet Union kept the capitalists at bay when it came to workers right and wages. At the same time, still a big part of the world was still not capitalized. So with the big shares of the world's resources that the USA had under it's control "American capitalism" even worked especially for the white american petit-bourgeois and part of the american working class. This was even more true for the 1990ies, as the Soviet Union was defeated and colonized, the biggest non-privatized part of the world. So yeah, this all must have been awesome! But now, even the american petit-bourgeois and almost all parts of the american working class is also feeling the capitalists' whip! Welcome to the next circle of class war.

Normally, I think Arnold makes good points but he's glossing over the fact that other countries lack the infrastructure and manufacturing technology / capacity to do what California did (if it was that easy, they would have already done it). To say that they are liars or stupid is an incredibly self-righteous and arrogant position. That doesn't help get his point across, it just shows that he's not interested in addressing the challenges OTHER countries and economies are facing when trying to move to a green economic model.
If you want to actually move the needle forward, identify the obstacles that these other economies face instead of name calling, HELP THEM OVER COME THEM!

Self righteous it might be, but it's still the truth. Along with the lack of infrastructure and manufacturing technology, there's a clear lack of will from countries' governments to push changes forward. Not because of the challenge it poses or because they're destining resources to fix more important issues, but because of simple short sight from both the government and the population at large. At the very least that's how it goes in my country. Every government trying to make the previous one look bad, in order to further their political party's needs and ensure reelection, population domesticated by decades of that nonsensical system and trained into not giving a shit about what might happen tomorrow as long as they're fine today. Improvements to infrastructure and organization can be done, but it usually needs a crisis to start it and make the population care enough to force the government to act, the pandemic and healthcare systems in many developing countries being a good example of it.
If anything, I'd argue that you're the one in an arrogant position. Other countries are not babies that need the great and mighty United States of America to hold their hand and tell them what to do. You people don't owe us anything and trying to make yourselves take responsibility for our governments shortcomings is insulting. Are you guys partly at fault for spreading the whole "Profit above anything" capitalistic mindset? Absolutely. But the damage is already done with that. As Arnold said, want to make a change? just prove as a country that the benefits are worth the effort and do your best to spread it via example. That's how you spearhead change, not by pushing regulations nobody cares about or giving economical incentives that are sure to be squandered in something else.

    • @jackroman8821
      @jackroman8821 2 года назад +1

@@neh1234 Nobody said other countries are babies, read the comment again. I said to help them overcome the obstacles. We're all in this planet together and having countries helps each other is no different than helping your friend or neighbor to improve your neighborhood or city. In the end, it benefits everyone and raises the overall quality of life for all those around you.
Don't want help? Fine, don't accept it.
Nobody said anything about pushing regulation. You've created a straw man argument that doesn't even exist.
In one breath you state that it's insulting to take responsibility for your government's shortcomings and in the next that the "Mighty United States" is at fault for your countries capitalist mindset? I'm not sure you've really thought any of this through. Try again.
" there's a clear lack of will from countries' governments to push changes forward. Not because of the challenge it poses or because they're destining resources to fix more important issues, but because of simple short sight from both the government and the population at large."
Oh... but you know better than everyone else right? You understand the complexities better than the leaders and people in charge who have to manage all of these competing responsibilities but they are arrogant. Good to know, clearly you're destined for great things. if only someone asked you what to do we'd have it all fixed.
Now if you could just work on your reading comprehension and put together a cogent argument we might get somewhere.

Well said Sir. Although me coming from India agree that there should be an equal push on all fronts. I myself work in the renewable energy sector who is implementing meshed DC distribution grids in Africa, EU and India. Issue is the scale and infrastructure along with our limits. Although India had started the Rural electrification initiative around 2001, the infrastructure needs a severe revamp. We are getting there.... but will take time. In my village in South for e.g. every house has Solar with other locally available renewable sources. FCEV is upcoming in the vehicle sector with South Korea bringing entering there hydrogen fueled electric cars in India and India itself working with UK to develop the Hydrogen cell technology for heavy vehicles and strong equipment. Already 100,000 + manufactured in India and another 100,000 + in Britain, although for special tasks at the moment. These engines have only water as byproduct and nothing else. I am additionally working on Hydrozine based substations for small construction tasks. This can also be scaled up. There's a lot of scope and also people to do it but the plane as per implementation with infrastructure is pending.
