Hi, there! You seem like one of the calmest new mamas I have ever seen! There is nothing wrong with keeping her face/ name private. You are doing what you think is best for your child. Best wishes to you, and your new family. And, I love that your precious cat, alerts you about baby girl! Happy Easter.🐰🐣And, thank you for the update!

Defecate on each slice of bread. Now, eat it. 🤪

I had a similar epidural “late in labor” story. I understand the distress and frustration. My daughter is about to be 26 and it still bugs me! LOL
She was my one and only, my “one shot wonder,” so I don’t know if things would be different with a second.

What little we have seen of her, she is absolutely precious! And her hair, just adorable!! In my own humble opinion, part of your job as parents is to protect her in life. Good for you for doing exactly that.
Thank you for the update. I'm so glad to hear that things are going relatively well. It can really be a rollercoaster of a ride in these early years. I have always appreciated your candor. Update when you can and know that we are all here to support you, not judge you.

Hi! We were able to tell if it was hormone positive or HER2+ based off of my initial biopsy. Staging depends on tumor size and how much the cancer has spread, so a lot of times it is not determined until after your surgery. If you have a small tumor, sometimes a lumpectomy is all that is needed. I hope it all goes well!

@@Armistead_MacSkyewow, what a journey, I ended up at 2A because of lymph node involvement, clear margin lumpectomy, I’m now post surgury and radiation 30 rounds including boosts, then second degree burns. Now dealing with letrozole adjustment. Surplus bone pain. Getting back to making selling art pottery and taking care of my husbands advancing dementia. There is a ground glass lesion in my skull, but so far they are only a little bit concerned. I have Ct scans every three months to check on that. Pet and bone density scans in February.

The reason they tell you to put babies on their backs alone in their basinets/cribs is because it dramatically reduces the risk of SIDS. I'm not telling you to be a jerk, but because I know you love your baby and want to keep her safe. It is WAY easier to teach babies to fall asleep on their own in their beds when they are newborns. I do it professionally as a newborn care specialist/night nurse in the homes of new parents. I recommend a book from the Baby Whisperer, she teaches methods to help babies learn to fall asleep in their own beds.

    • @SamanthaL

Yes, I do know it helps with SIDS! She sleeps in her crib at night now (5 months old) and I put her down on her back but she always rolls onto her side as soon as I remove my hands. She just prefers it that way I guess haha! I hope your meeting with your oncologist went well, and I’m glad the videos help :)

    • @SamanthaL

Of course it’s hormones! I just meant that the fact that I enjoyed the newborn stage so much may have helped me personally be at a lower risk. I’m not trying to say that people get it who don’t want children or they don’t love their kids and I’m pretty sure I addressed that
