Folks who have seen this band in the last 15 years cant even begin to understand the majesty of this band 40 years ago. As this video so clearly demonstrates.
So true,,,they were a different animal back then tearing up city after city with power never seen before onstage 🎸🎸💯🔥😈
Seen live, twice.
1984 at Monsters Of Rock and 2014. 🤘🏻 Both times in Stockholm. 😊👍🏻
I saw AC/DC many times in 79, 80, 81 & 82. There has never been a band onstage with more energy & power!
the energy is unreal
Si ce stato i Guns n Roses
For a concert aired on Japanese TV, I still cannot understand why this show has never been in good quality. I tape traded with a Japanese guy in 90s who had a 1st gen and it still looked like this. Baffles me, because this is the most raucous Japanese crowd ever captured on TV.
Even the plug me in official dvd has similar quality and the songs still cut, and I guess AC/DC contacted the tv station to get the master tape, back in the day tapes were wiped to record new programs and some got lost of ruined in floods/fires, but I don't know why a full copy wasn't made
Better yet the poor quality production they did in Moscow 1991.
アルバム:Back in Blackを聞いてファンになったのでその他の曲はHighway to Hell、Whole Lotta Rosie程度しか知らなかった。
AC/DC Keep on Rockin'&Rollin' BON,MALCOM R.I.P

Phil Rudd man, total sledgehammer of a man, absolutely phenomenal, the way he swings man, he's perfection.

Insane stage volume. Amazed Brian can hear himself, even more impressed with Mal's handling of the Gretsch White Falcon.
yeah no kidding. very impressive!!!
The falcon looks massive when Mal is wrestling with it!!!
Noticed Mal switched to the beast for Rocker and had the White Falcon again for the encore. Always wondered why he used the WF live for a couple tours. Never heard a good explanation
I read in a book back in the late 80s that they finally got some money after the Highway To Hell album so he decided get a WF, at the time the most expensive guitar in the world. He loved the sound but it needed some maintenance and a guitar tech ‘fixed it’ but, to Mal’s ear, destroyed its tone. The part about ruining the WF was from the UK magazine ‘Guitarist’ in 88 or 89, I think, when that very guitar was being sold and there was a 2 page write up on its history.
At about 50:00 I think Mal breaks a string during High Voltage because it goes out of tune, really obvious at 50:18. I’d day he quickly swaps for the Beast to finish the song, and was using it in Rosie, the next song,
In those days, the Japanese were so polite. No other band could have gotten the audience so excited. They are crowding in front of the stage. Great!!
I was wondering that too....very unusual to see a crowd that wild and up close to the stage especially back then as you said!
@@RichardFriendartist Only other band i can think of from the same era is Guns And Roses live in Japan.

Wow. Just wow. Coming out of the bridge in Sin City, I have never seen the whole band exploding on stage like that. This has got to be the best performance on record of the Brian Johnson era. Donnington is of course bigger, more majestic, but this show is so raw and powerful. Thank you for posting this!
This is THE DEFINITION of rock.
This has to be the most stunning live perfomance of ACDC i have ever seen! WOW
I saw them with Bon Scott, that was stunning.
This one & The Capitol Center (same year/tour).
I was expecting some halfwit to say LiVe aT RiVeR pLaTe Is bEtTeR🙄
Yes it is, One of Brian's best, shows, The,Band was on Full Onslaught, playing Hard n Fast 💯🔥🎸🎸😈
very powerful
40 years later, that Back in Black voice...
Holy shit Brian Johnson was full of energy during 1981.
If I could go back in time and pick a show to go and see, it would be this one. It looks epic!!
hatless Brian Johnson performing in Tokyo, i’m beyond blessed getting to witness this greatness!
OMG .. they sound SO powerful ❤❤❤ Brian rally had a great voice .. the sin city versión literally make me cry .. it's like here i am .. this is what my voice cand do .. greetings to all ac/dc fans worldwide
Aint that the truth on Sin City 👌
AC/DC have proved themselves in arena sized venues but they are so much better in smaller venues when the crowd is up against the stage....you can feel the energy so much more.
The energy Brian and the boys have here is unstoppable.
Brian's on fire with the Japans FANS
This is it, The best rock concert.
Can' t believe it, Never seen Brian without Cap, thats a impossible Contest... thx for uploading.
What an incredible show, I think it's the most insane performance I've ever seen from AC/DC. And the band's show with the most insane audience is that show at River Plate in Argentina.
Just by watching it you end up extenuated... The level of energy is just unbeliavable and Brian, less than one year in the band at the time, defies description. Thanks for sharing!!🤘🤘🤘
A/C D/C bringing it all to Japan..This performance was energy like never before and Angus was on fire and in his prime..Rock n Roll at it's finest and no band grabs it like they do and everyone who was there stood witness to one of their best shows ever done before
Energy was higher in Paris 1979 and Glasgow 1978. This was emotionally hard period for the band and you can feel that in live performances.
The uptempo is insane. Angus: Sorry Phil you just have to keep up 😊
THIS IS AND WILL BE THE BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE EVER. Espacialy back in black
Absolutely at their peak!
Absolutely 77 - 82 No band Ever Rocked that Hard Ever Ever 😈🎸💯🔥
And they say the Japan market didn’t like AC/DC… This show proves otherwise! ⚡️⚡️⚡️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It's fantastic! Wish there would be more footage from the Back in Black tour!
。。今でもBack In Blackはお気に入りCDです!
59:40 Phil is so awesome that he doesn't even need to look down at his drums when he plays!
Actually when you play such a simple beat (even at that pace) you don't have to look at your kit, muscle memory works for you
Nonetheless, Phil is an absolute beast
great set list! Maybe the best Ive ever seen Brian onstage!!!
japan the best crowd people of all time
This concert is pure effin’ MAGIC!! BJ is on absolute fire here.
The only post-Bon footage I’ve seen that matches the Bon-era energy. Only wish they would have done more songs off Back in Black on this tour. Like the whole album! 😂
That is so true, I believe this is one of Brian's best AC/DC Show ever, How fast did they play here , Love this show, Sin City and What Do You Do For Money Honey are just Awesome 👌
Probably the coolest set list ever.
Brian's wild hair and energy during this performance is right up their with Angus'!
Brian must have lost his cap near the stage and someone grabbed it. ❤🎉
OUTSTANDING WORK!!!!!! I have seen many a version of this "YOUNG MUSIC SHOW" of AC/DC from Japan. This is BY FAR the best version I have ever seen!!!!!! I have always wanted to see it in this beautiful quality. I never thought I would until today!!!!
A MILLION THANKS!!!!!!!!!
thank you
@@acdcportugal family jewels had the shot down vid, somehow they made Brian's vocals level in post. Be great if they re-did all these shows
I cannot get over how amazing Rocker sounds. The whole band is on fucking fire! Do yourself a favor and turn your volume up on that track to 11
Amazing live show, the stand out for me has always been WDYDFMH the energy is off the scale
I agree that is like at 200mph fastest ever version 200% Highway to Hell sounds better faster 😈💯🎸👍
Salute y'all 🔔🤘
saw them 2 month earlier on 6th of Dec. 1980 in Essen/ Germany and I remember it just like yesterday. Malcolm played the Gretsch Firebird and hell it's 43 years ago...........unbelievable☮️💓☀️
wish y'all well out there🤘
My favorite live performance of Bad Boy Boogie that includes my favorite Angus strip session and of course some great blues guitar in there
Yeah had the vinyl bootleg of this show, played it over and over 🤟 Bad Boy Boogie is off the scale even for them 😈
The only band that truly rock in a concert.
I love Let There Be Rock from this early Brian era - so fast & heavy
what do you do for money honey, incredible version!
Talk about energy.
These guys tore the place up from the first song.
Notice, they don't have to get the crowd into it like some other bands..lol
Brian is kicking some serious ass
along with the whole band.
What an awesome encore, You shook me, TnT, Let there be rock.
Btw, I saw DC two times during the 80s in the Pacific Northwest and the crowd made them play TNT two times in a row, and they did it.
What a cool band!
What
Ultra rare capless Brian...What a show. \m/
42 years later and this is still great. I'd like to interview some of the people on the front of that crowd. Wish I were there. How can there be war when we are at peace with rock n roll?
I was there🙃
Big shoes to fill. He nailed it.

35:31 even Malcolm does a little lead bit !This show rocks through and through
Where it doesn't show anything
@@Klang4evre Listen to Malcolm's guitar at the time stamp behind angus's solo...
AC/DC Sounding Like a Fine Tuned NASCAR ,, What an Era.
That is an ungodly amount of power. WOW...... Just WOW!!
Thank you so very much for sharing this. Cheers to you!!
This is amazing. The crowd is right up to the edge of the stage shaking their fists, beating on the stage and the band is on fucking fire!.
Wow. Angus is on fire here. Impressive. I played guitar in an AC/DC tribute band awhile back and we played extremely loud. You can tell the guitars here are very very loud. Awesome and sounds phenomenal.
Tellement fier d'avoir écouté acdc de leur début a maintenant....toute ma vie quoi!
🔥🔥🍻🔥🔥
Thanks for posting the link to my channel. I am looking forward to this one.
thanks, you helped me a lot on some of my projects on this channel
Hell Yeah!!!!!!! Thanks for posting.
I saw them exactly five months earlier in San Francisco (Daly City to be precise) at the Cow Palace. It was insane. What a band.
AC⚡DC Great show!! Thanks 🍺🍺💨
Best AC DC performances

Acdc kicks ass. Rock roll
thanks for posting this🔥🔥
I love the crowd, they really got into it hehe 🤗
TELL ME ABOUT IT! Too bad TODAY'S crowds are "just the opposite."
This is what ROCK is all about.
Pure POWER RAWNESS 😁🤘
After the big bands go away, we will be left with little bands that will never see the light of day playing Stadiums or Arenas for that matter.
AC/DC Baby !!😁👊👊
I venture to say Brian Johnson is definitely channeling Bon Scott in this one. Very nice to see 🙂🤘
Thanks for sharing 👍🏿👍🏿😊🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
Was at the sydney show for this tour Swanee, The Angels and ACDC. FUCKIN GREAT.

The 28th Akebono Maru was engaged in the pelagic bottom purse seine fishery in the Bering Sea in winter, and after draining the walleye pollock net containing 50 tons of walleye pollock and the stern net, he was turning to the left in an attempt to raise the bow to the wave. However, the wall of the plate of the raw material yard broke, and about 27 tons of fish in the yard were fluidized. When they shook violently, seawater flowed into the ship from the port rear garbage chute, which remained open, and overturned and sank on January 6, 1982 at 54 degrees 5 minutes north latitude and 178 degrees 25 minutes west longitude.
At that time, an easterly wind with a wind speed of 15 meters blew, the temperature was 1.0 degrees Celsius, the water temperature was 2.4 degrees Celsius, and although there was no icing on the hull, there were eastern waves with a wave height of about 5 meters, and 33 crew members. One was rescued, but 24 were missing and eight died.
This matter was decided by the Yokohama Regional Marine Accident Inquiry Agency on December 15, 1983.
I hope you have a good health faria!! And thanks for the video, i have but no in HD Thanks man be safe!
thanks, be safe as well
Fantastique
Fantástico!!!!
Brian’s hair is like Krusty from the Simpsons
I was at this tour in Boston Garden 81
Francisco, obrigado pela partilha. Abraço.
Compare this with Detroit 1983. I am sure Malcolm told Brian to take a step back yes. But the biggest difference between these concerts is the drumming. Rudd is killing it here. On a different planet compared with Wright.
Spettacolari!

After digging around a bit it appears as though they have been slowing down the tempo on vinyl. I always thought it was me. but hearing them tuned to 440 it becomes clear.
This tape could just be a bit fast
I wish they would go back to the bare bones stage like this one.
The best 😊
