- In a year of filming for RUclips we see a lot of tractors! Here is a compilation of John Deere tractors starting with a Waterloo Boy, John Deere's first commercially available tractor, right through to some of the very latest tractors. Hello from the USA! My family(Briggs), as best we've found out, Came to England withe the Normans, then left in the 1600s for Rhode Island, America. My branch of the tree ended up in south central NY in 1807. I was a 7th generation farmer, we milked Holsteins until 1997. It's very nice to watch your videos, there is so much different, yet so much the same. I believe all farmers, those of us that made our living from the land and our animals, are kindred spirits. Thank you for sharing, good health and good luck in the New Year!

Great vid. Spent the summers of my youth on my uncle's farm. In the mid 80's they bought a new John Deere. Beautiful machine and so exotic at the time. A big change compared to the Dexta and Major! So smooth and capable of handling gear changes without coming to a stop. Still stare any time I see one!

Great video with lots of variety tractors and machines 👍no disrespect to anyone but John Deere probably be the last tractor i would ever consider due to experience on one farm 3 new 2140s had porous blocks and the 3640 back end cast split all in the first year of being on the farm 🙄😕
That sounds very frustrating. I trust Deere sorted it in the end?
Yes they did but it took quite a while to do so and time on a large farm is not something we had plenty of 😕👍
