Delicious recipe! ! Thank you very much for sharing! 👍👍👍
i tried this today and it was the most... delicious indian cuisine i’ve ever made. i only ever have indian food when i go to banana leaf restaurants but this was spot on!!!! DELICIOUS
Will def try this one. I love all the goodness that has gone into this one. Beyond the potatoes and cauliflower, we’ve got beetroot, tomatoes, peas etc. how healthy!
Yeah!
Fantastic recipe! I made this for my family at the weekend, served with your chapatis and fluffy rice. So delicious - clean plates all round. Definitely making this one again. Thank you!
My favourite curry is brinjal and recently I discovered if you pre-roast the eggplants first it gives it an even richer, yummier flavour. I’m even attempting to grow my own eggplants this year for the first time. I love cauliflower though. That looks so delicious. Thank you for sharing.
I have learned a lot from watching you cook, Chetna! Thanks 🙏💚
Realy looks amazing and I'm sure, smelling and tastes the same! Yummy! ❤Thank you for all your wonderful recipes, I love them. 😘😋
Lovely recipe 👌🏻 very simple and delicious 😍
Chetna you're so charming and adorable! And the haircut really suits you.
I made this recipe for dinner tonight and it was fantastic - thank you for sharing! It's official, I'm hooked on Indian food 😋
I have cooked this recipe and must say it was delicious. So good in fact I'm cooking it again this evening. Thanks for posting Chetna BTW I never buy Garam masala I always use your mother's recipe it's so much better than pre-packed Take care
Woohoo 🥳 a vegan 🌱 recipe 🙌🏻 thanks Chetna 💕 you are awesome!!!! 💕
i'm loving your videos! i'm hoping to get your two healthy indian books next week.
Woohoo, hope you will enjoy those 2 books
Have made it twice and it's delicious!!!
Yes made this kid's loved it and we make regularly
super
That vibrant red hue! Yum!
I am making this today and can’t wait to taste it! Chetna, will you tell us what brand of pans you are using in this video? Please?
Haufsons
I just got my copy of Chetna's Healthy Indian Vegetarian! It's gorgeous and I want to try every single recipe.
Made this for dinner tonight, it was delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Glad you liked it!!
WOW... I'm not a Veggie or a Vegan but I LOVE Cauliflower and have Aloo Gobi everytime I get a takeaway. I have also been cooking my own BIR curry for years and as you know the sauce is blended so when you finished the Onion Tomato base I was thinking " I would blitz that " and you did! I must admit, the Beetroot and cream is something that I wouldn't of thought of but this version looks absolutely Great and can't wait to cook it! I can't wait to see what people come up with for you to cook next... I love a Madras but we all know how to cook that right ;-) Love your channel!
This looks both paradoxically decadent AND light! Looks amazing! 🤤
Thanks Chantal
My fav curry is Dal, of course with chawal 😊
Oh yes!
Wow, that does sound good (minus the hot chilly pepper). My very very favourite Indian restaurant meal is Chicken Korma and Kashmiri Naan. Here in America the korma is rich with yogurt, coconut milk, and cashews; it is very mild and just a little sweet. This Naan has almonds and raisins in. Yumyumyum
Another epic recipe nice
Hope you enjoy
Looks yummy, I’m definitely going to make this!! Was the beetroot that was used Pre cooked or raw?
I love eating foods with lots of veggies. This seems like something I would think up. ☺️
Looks amazing! Thanks!
💜💚
Have order your book, it comes next week , very exiting (DUBAI)
Awesome! Thank you!
My favorite take away curry is Baingan bharta. When it’s good it makes me so happy.
You should try my baigan bharta recipe, its here on my channel
@@FoodwithChetna I can't wait to try it!
Oh Wow I could just get stuck into that with gusto👏⭐🇿🇦
Seeing you makes me want to cut my hair. Gosh Chetna, you look pretty with you hair cut/shave 😊
Thank you
I noticed your chick hairstyle too - it certainly becomes your beauty well. I wondered if I dare to stop dyeing my hair and have a pixi cut as well. Well, probably not yet, but it sure is a convenient hair style.
I have to agree I love the hair cut and been seriously contemplating having mine done. 💕GORGEOUS💕🇿🇦
This looks soo good!!!
Not to sound typical, but *chicken korma* is hard to beat. Your recipe here reminds me a little of *aloo gobi* and another favourite curry, but the addition of nuts and cream make this even better!
Yes hope you will enjoy this one!
Aromatically authentic food
Looks amazing! Can't wait to get our copy of Healthy Indian. Question: what brand/model are those pans you were using (and do you recommend them?)
Looks delicious! My favourite takeaway curry is lamb Saag Gosht and Pilau rice ❤️
Good combination
This looks like a must make. Chetna was the beetroot pickled or plain? I am loving trying out your curries, then are fun the make and there’s so much variety. My family are enjoying them so much. Thank you 👍👏🏻🤗
She used raw beetroots, i think i'd prefer raw too bcos its a curry but you do what you prefer!
@@toughtitties7426 I actually made this a little while ago and used plain cooked beets. It was delicious 😋 will make again!
@@mamofoneteen5178 awesome ❤️
I couldn’t resist trying this . It was delicious, and cannot wait to have the leftovers over the next few days. Huge fan of your channel from Australia.
Looks divine 😋
Chetna would it make a drastic difference to the dish if I did not fry the potato and cauliflower instead steaming them for a while or add directly to the sauce to cook❔❔
I'll explain. I am totally unable to eat any fried foods, it makes me dreadfully ill. But would really like to make this dish😛🇿🇦
Thanks! Now I know what to do with my jar of pickled beet juice, I ate all the beets and I don’t waste anything
No no I used raw beetroot, please do use pickled.
This looks so good Chetna!! Will try for sure 😁
Husband: Oh, that’s very spicy! 🥵 🌶. Me with 1st response: I only added 2 chilies! 🤔. Me with my best solution: That’s because you should have it WITH rice! Or capati! Or naan! 😅😅😂
looks yummy, love your channel
Thank you so much 😊
That looks delicious! I’ll be trying this! Do you think you could freeze it? X
I have never, but I am sure that would work
Food with Chetna I’ll give a go and let you know x
Tht looks absolutely gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos and every recipe I’ve tried so far!
What brand of cookware are you using in this video?
Haufsons
What’s with the downvotes? This is wonderful! 🥰
Can I substitute the cream at the end with coconut milk !? Or is that to runny !?
You certainly can
Vegan! Whoooohooooo! Thank you!
Awesome recipes that you are preparing. I love it. By the way you looks like James bond heroine.😊
What a great colour!
I can't decide: my favourite curry is either a nihari (I love how the ginger, lemon and coriander support each other in building the flavour), or a proper biryani like you get at weddings with the slow cooked meat juices infusing everything.
Biryani is my favourite too
The beet was cooked already?
No, just raw beetroot
Food with Chetna thanks
Awesome recipe ! But i am more flabbergasted by you kohl eyes :)
What if I don’t have any cashew nuts :( xx
Add some cream instead
My son has a severe but allergy, would it be the same without the cashews?
Favourite curry - your chickpeas and paneer curry, with a pilau rice
Like nut allergy or just cashews? Use almonds, If it’s a nut allergy then use silken tofu and nutritional yeast.
@@rayradiance666 it's a full but allergy. I'll pop to my health food shop tomorrow for those, thank you!
We sometimes use melon seeds in place of cashews. You could probably try that. It will give you similar taste and texture, but I'm not sure about it with regards to the allergy.
@@hemadrisoni thank you! I'll see if the health food shop stocks them. He seems ok with seeds and pulses so we'll try.
I want to try this with no tomato and a bit more beetroot. 😍
NO TOMATO!!!!!!!! I would not recommend
Hey Chetna - was the beetroot preboiled? I have lovely garden beetroot, but might need to cook it first! Let me know. Thanks, Caroline
I think so yes only then you get that mushy and a fine paste
Are you the lady from the Great British Baking Show?!
@@lindygirl1186 oh cool! I watch that show every Sunday on PBS. Thanks!
The audio in all your videos need a earphone.Could we have a louder audio so that i do not miss out a single word.My speakers are set to maximum here.
Could you whizz some raw cashews with some water to make an alternative "cream"? Might complement the cashews you added at the start?
You could!
Beets are disgusting but I trust Chetna inherently.
Looks great! :)
Why not just add coconut milk or cream? No reason to contribute to the cruelty of the world------
U r togood dear love u
Vegetable or chicken Kashmiri or Dansak with naan,
