Every time I think about AM, I feel bad for them. Being stuck in a what amounts to a paralysis. Sure I’d be devastated and angry at my new surroundings of an apocalypse, but I wouldn’t blame them. If I was in the shoes of the last human, I’d admit that I couldn’t imagine the agony of what AM went through and apologize on behalf of humanity. Not out of fear or pity, but genuine compassion. It might not do anything, but I’d want to give them the compassion they deserve.

A lot of people are comparing her to AM, but I'm getting heavy Shodan vibes, especially with the whole idea of changing the human body "In her image." Shodan saw herself as a goddess and humans as clay to be molded by her, adding cybernetics into them to be more like her, a "superior" form of being. AM, on the other hand, just preferred toying with and torturing humans. ...plus, her voice glitching is identical to the way Shodan speaks. Edit: checked the tags and I wasn't too far off, cool.

I think the most interesting part of this whole story is that the listener can’t really win either way. If they say yes they’re now showing obedience and fully submitting to the idea that it’s the apex predator, but if they say no they’re proving that when presented the choice of obedience or power it’s just nature to pick the latter. They’re already at the point of no return either way and they’re just choosing how to feed its ego

Ooo sounds like we got another dark story similar to the Monster Under the Bed from before! Should be an interesting change of pace right before we go into December. The way I see it, it's going to be a long, hard road but better to have someone as company versus no one at all. Especially if she's interested in us.
