I was told today that mounting from the right will break the jiffy stand and or bend the frame. I had to laugh because I've been getting on the right side for over 20 years
Hey Motorman, Doofus here. I was recently looking through photos and have images of you at your 2008 demonstration at the Leesburg, Fl bike rally. You haven't changed a bit. ;-) Love your courses and your videos. I am jealous since my Illinois riding season is over and another 4-5 months away.
In the Netherlands we learn low speed maneuvering and turning and we have to be in full control making turns and tight slaloms at 2 mph before we can even get a motorcycle license. But this video is honestly great, I fully support your business
True that, How can you go and do a u turn with a passenger on two-up if you cant do one yourself, and also some new passengers sit on there like an old sack of potatoes, you lean left and they lean right because they think they will fall otherwise or the bike will go down. Or if you go down hill they lean backwards, so yeah good techniques also very true for the passengers as well as you.
😅😅😅 "... balloned up to 128." She owes you one for that, even though you're just bragging about her. I appreciate your factual approach to educating riders. Great stuff Motor Man!
Hey Jerry, That video clip of Donna giving you the "what-for" as you are duck-walking the u-turn is comedy gold! You two are hilarious together, and you are also both great teachers. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both.
Excellent Advice Jerry. Thank you for all you and your wife do for all us riders. I been watching your videos for 2 years they are very helpful. Great job!!!
So right about ppl riding 2 up with no business doing it. It’s not a joke and u are responsible for that persons life .. Can u honestly say to yourself that you’re good enough to hold your wife or kids life in your hands on that bike ? If not DONT
I had a problem with a passenger, every time I am stopping at a signal I feel like the bike is a little bit wobbly and I end up stopped in a diagonal. and The other we were on a downhill street and when I stopped the bike dropped to the right, until now I cant understand what the problem was. Can someone help please
I live in the Atlanta area I cant believe I couldnt find any local HD dealerships that provided a rider safety course . I checked every month all year long.. would love to get that Primary Guard for Dyna WG
1:46 you’re saying not to lean your body in the opposite direction of the motorcycle but in this clip that’s exactly what both of them are doing, so I don’t understand what you’re meaning
Yep I see heaps of riders with pillions who have no idea how to ride and nearly fall off all the time. The dumbest thing I've seen is when they park front wheel first downhill on a touring bike and then have to find a few big lads to pull them out backwards lol. How funny is the duck walking two up video doing a u-turn 🦆👍
I will never put a passenger on the back of my bike , I tried it once and when you lean she wants to go the other way , Or move around Can not deal with that 😎

If that is going to break the frame then imagine what a pothole will do.
Always great info here. If Santa doesn't bring me one of your videos I'll have to take care of it myself.

Also, the "ballooned up to 128" comment just about made me spit out my Pepsi! Haha! 128 looks good on her!
That's when you know it's no longer just a marriage, it's a full partnership.
I agree! It's why I am working hard on my low speed handing before we double up. It's why I bought a HD to double up.
More practice for me.

Thank you motoman!
Thx great video
Thanks Motorman. Critical skills indeed.
Thanks for helping out Donna.
The honey-filled way he says "motorcycle" just pulls me in 😂
I had to put a voyager kit on my 2007 royal star venture to ride 2 up. Bike way to heavy for both of us at once. My knee gave out and over we went.
Drop gaurds,Went all they way to Texas and bought them well worth the money👍🏿

Southern Devil in Cartersville GA offers a riders course for both bikes and trikes
Atlanta Harley in Lithia Springs offers riders course.
It only fits H.D. touring bikes for 2016 and later.

Anyone know of a company that makes a PRIMARY GUARD FOR HD DWG 2006
What hospital do I send the flowers to.
Loved her hands on her hips before she got back on! Was she instructing you?
I would like to do your course. Where can I find information on it?

Hi Jerry, Merry Christmas!
Thanks, Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 to you as well.
Insurance costs made me decide my motorcycle is a solo machine.
Another great video. Excellent garage. What is your floor tile brand?
I don't know. I did a google and these were the least expensive at $1.75 a square foot.
125# to 128#?!?!? GOOD GAWD!!! She practically has her own gravitational field!!! 🤭🤭🤭😂👍
'Ballooned-up to 128' for your wife? Most of us have wives rockin' the 200+ category. Your thoughts Jerry!
Actually, Donna is down to 118 lbs. So, I take it back. :)
@@motorman857 You're my hero.
👍
Hi Jerry, Do you have any tips for riding with a sidecar? I could not find any of your videos covering sidecars. Thanks:)
I've never ridden a side car but I know you just steer it like a car.
Ballooned up hahaha no supper for you

All of us Yinzers are Big Boned!
