I just got 2 of the 7s for Texas inshore/bay saltwater, primarily for speckled trout. I was surprised at no rattles but I haven’t thrown it yet, as it’s meant to be worked quickly and that’s for shallow warmer water (< 4-5’) for me this spring.
Me and Dan agree that the Finisher is the best out of the two new hard baits from Berkley it can literally do anything you want it to do in all levels of the water column.
I've been fishing the lucky craft wander for years. It never got popular. This new finisher is pretty much the same thing. Will be interesting to see how it fishes on the fall with how it's weighted.
New camera? The garage footage looks clean. The autofocus cuts in and out. In static footage like this, you can use Autofocus Single mode or Manual focus that way it’s not constantly searching
@@ILLUMINATHAN79 I definitely get where you’re coming from man. They look similar and are both heavily weighted. The pull point is in a different spot and I’ve personally fished both baits and the action is different. Have you had the chance to fish the finisher yet?
You def could especially a bfs set up. What I like about fishing it on spinning is the ability to open the bail and let it free fall to suspended fish without having to strip line off the bait caster
The Berkley Bait Hits just keep coming! Awesome video and description Josh! Keep-em coming! 👍
Gotta grab some of these, thanks for sharing 🖖😎
Heck yeah that bait looks fun!
Sounds like a winner. I’ll pick one up.

Looks great! Going to try the smaller size as a multi-species bait. I bet lunker sized Crappie will also hammer that thing 🤙🏻💪🏼
Heck yeah man good call
Hey Josh, what size would you recommend the finisher for fishing the Kissimmee chain
Great Tips thanks, I’ve placed my order and it looks like it will be another 10 days before they arrive and ship from TW. Glad I got chrome #7’s👊
Heck yeah man! Thanks much. Good call
On the chrome
Make a 2.5 inch so i can fish trout with it. I love fishing techniques that no other is using. Looks amazing. Aloha braddah. Mahalo for sharing
The 5 size is about that size. It’ll crush the trout
What size Finisher do your recomend. Still the 7, now that you have fished it for awhile?
Have you used this at Pleasant?
Sounds great. What about the new KREJ?

It’s definitely super versatile man
Yalls amaters.
Is this like the Megabass Karashi?
Looking forward to trying this out. I will problem fish it like the power switch... maybe...
Nice man you’ll catch em with it
Are you fishing this on straight fluorocarbon or braid to leader👍🏼
I like it with braid to leader for castability

The Wanderer doesn't seem to dart like the Finisher
What is the sink rate?

Looks like the old Lucky Craft Wander or the Blade Cross but without the blade.
I can see similarity in shape for sure. Action is totally different though
@@joshbertrandfishing1274 that’s not true. You have the same action with the Wander with quick rod snaps.

@@joshbertrandfishing1274 I stopped supporting Berkley when they knocked off the Trash Fish.
How is this bait in 45 degree or colder water ?
I haven’t fished it in water that cold yet so I’m not sure. I would say it’ll probably be better in water over 55
Can you use a baitcaster?

I’m going to try the 5 for ice fishing
Heck yeah it works well vertical
I'm catching fish on this
So its a Hard Jerk Bait...( Great lure)
probably be a good bait. Ban livescope play video games in your parents basement
You guys are amaters.
