I think the first op should've tore a copy of the picture.
I think he should've found a similar frame and maybe just print a copy of the picture and just done the same with the fake frame and picture.
I think he should've showed it to the aunt after seeing how she'd react and tell her that he wants her to buy him a new fish after she felt what it's like to be in his shoes
1st story nta that fish is a living thing and she killed it, now she can feel the pain of losing something precious in return.
I think the first story’s op went to far because I get it it’s their fish & it was wrong but a family photo that is the only thing left that you can’t replace are destroying it is not good definitely not justified imo & the second story is nta because if she wanted the haircut then it’s her hair & if it makes her happy then she should be able to get the haircut.

pretty revenge & family drama ooooo yes please. first story ripping the picture up went too far, the aunt also went too far. (tanks need to be set up for a couple of weeks before you even put in a fish). there are other ways to 'get back' at aunt, but not this way. second story the daughter is old enough to chose what she wants. this IS her image how is it ruined? it's great for the daughter to experiment with her looks.

As for 1st story... OP is not the booty hole. In my experience, people who are that heartless towards animals are just as heartless (If not more) to humans. I think there was a lot more going on with the aunt that OP didn't go into detail about, like maybe covert abuse that OP feels they can't talk about because there's no receipts or scars? BEEN THERE, and this sounds like abusive behaviour. The death of the fish was probably the straw that broke the camel's back and OP snapped. I mean some people might say it was just a fish, but what if it had been a cat or a dog that the aunt had killed? Opinions would LIKELY be different. Point is it was a loved pet, a LIVING BEING that the aunt showed NO regard for. She took a life that was precious to someone. You don't wanna know what I'D do if someone messed with either of my cats. RIP Eclipse.
As for the second story... she's 14. She should have control over her own hair. End of story.
💜💜💜💜I’m always a sucker for purple and love them. The first one is tough, although the aunt is a total AH. I do think maybe OP could’ve gotten revenge a different way. The second one OP is most definitely not the AH, but his wife is. The girl is 14, she is old enough to make decisions about her own hair and the consequences of those choices. However she loved it till the mom blew up, shame on that mom. Build our children up not put them down!❤❤

The first one was rough on both sides what they both did wasn't justified. 2nd the wife need to get over it. It was the daughters choice and not hers. And it's just hair it will grow back if she wants to. Love your creations

Omg OP in story 1, I think OP could’ve done a way better revenge that didn’t involve destroying the only thing left of her grandpa!!! Literally ANYTHING ELSE would’ve gotten the point across without entirely destroying something that personal! I’ve had beta fish, I understand the feeling of them dying, but as much a b the aunt was OP went overboard!!
OP is NTA in story 2, children are not fashion statements, they aren’t accessories, they aren’t dolls. If the daughter wanted her hair cut then let her cut it!!
My response to the first story is that you don't touch other people's pets no matter what. Imagine if Op had a Small puppy or a small kitten, and came home to find that her aunt fed it nothing but chocolate and all the things that animals shouldn't have. She would have had literally the same reaction I bet. So if I may repeat myself: you don't touch somebody's pet!!!
Destroying the only picture/memento of a lost loved one is too far, i thought they were going to hide the photo and just let her think its destroyed, but acyually tearing it up is too much imo. Also, that picture prob isn't just special to the shitty aunt, now everyone who loved him lost their only picture. I think destroying something special of hers in return is a fitting punishment though, but destroy some jewelry or clothes or something
First one: it was way over the top! I know it was op's pet but op went too far in this one. Taking the last photo of a loved one and destroying it is not petty its down right disrespectful! I dont blame the aunt if she does kick op out (if op lives with aunt).
