Ohhhh very pretty!!! Tbh, I would NOT want to even share a room with that guy in story 3 if I were the first girl. He sounds kind of creepy and like he might have tried something if she had (not accusing him btw, but it does sound super sketchy!). Story 2, definitely see OP as NTA because see laid out her not paying for meat boundary. Bf's own fault for getting banned. Story 1, OP obviously doesn't get how important homecoming is and that by not letting him go, she's making it that much more likely that she'll have less time with him because he won't want to be over. Like, would she rather miss 4 hours or 4+ YEARS!?! 🤦🏼♀️

For the second story: My parents taught me that whomever issues the invitation is also the one who foots the bill (mainly because this phenomenon of splitting the bill isn't as popular where I am from) or one person gets the bill and the others pay them back for what they ate. So, in my opinion, he should've been prepared to foot the bill because it was his dinner and he was the host in that moment.

story 1: does the mum stop the son hanging around with friends on her days as well? isn't school dances big things for teens? lets him go, take up up dads offer to have him another day. story 2: if they agreed for op not to pay for meat on different occasions why would op pay this time? just because it's a birthday that doesn't change anything. he needs to go back & pay. story3: op is a big AH, i guess he did layout what he wants but clearly he doesn't care who he goes with just as long as he gets some after wards.

Story 1: OP is a 7/10 AH cuz I do understand how she feels about not getting to see her son that much, but this is a special event for him, so she needs to let him experience it.
Story 2: Everyone kinda sucks in this situation. OP is a 2/10 AH cuz she clearly stated that she would never spend money on meat, and I respect her decision, but it was also her boyfriend’s birthday. The boyfriend is a 8/10 AH cuz it might’ve been his birthday but he acted childish towards OP when he clearly knew she was vegetarian.
Story 3: OP is a 6/10 AH cuz he shoulda just appreciated that the girl wanted to be friends with him. He also shouldn’t just try to rush into a relationship cuz the best ones come unexpectedly and also build up slowly

Op isn’t the a hole in my opinion. He wanted to take her out as a date, that doesn’t mean he just wanted to have his way with her. He was looking for a relationship. The friend rejected him, but still wanted to go. She was not owed any trip, she told him it wouldn’t work out and she didn’t have feelings for him. The co-worker, who actually did have feelings for him decided to go despite her little knowledge on the band. Also worth noting, a 2 bedroom room costs more than a one bedroom room, meaning he’d have to spend more just to see her. I cannot speak for the communication, because he doesn’t talk about how much time was between him and the day. She should’ve known that he likely wouldn’t go with her after that based on his response.
