Second story I feel for op and his wife. I don’t think he was in the wrong as I believe it is important to respect everyone’s wishes, especially when they are at their end. I’m just sorry they are having to deal with this drama while they are mourning. It’s not right.

I CANNOT take my eyes off that egg! I love fantasy, dinosaurs, dragons AND holographic things! This is like, so many of the things I love in one piece! Like, call me nuts but I also love to cook, so I'm imagining having like a bunch of these in different colours on a little shelf in my kitchen with food-grade silicone liners inside to store my spices and seasonings! Like... holy fudge! BEAUTIFUL!
As for the stories...
#1: I understand where OP is coming from, but... I think she should tell the baby's dad. Maybe take some time to get her thoughts in order first, but I think she should tell him because it is his baby too. He might have some other options too, like... okay, I'm adopted myself, and adoption doesn't automatically mean misery and fending for yourself. It does sometimes, unfortunately, but if you can find someone willing to adopt and legitimately care for the child out the gate (Maybe the baby's dad has a family member that would be willing to do that?), then the baby has a much better chance of being raised in a loving, caring home. Not always the case, but a possible option OP's friend may be able to provide.
#2: Okay, I actually have some experience in this situation. I won't give names or specific dynamics within the family, but I was caring for a terminal family member who had expressed desire for certain other family members not to be told when they were getting close to the end because they wanted peace and not the drama these other family members had a strong tendency to cause. I agreed, and asked another family member who knew what was going on (And I THOUGHT I could trust) not to say anything as per their wishes. I was accused of lying and not being Christian, and then when the ill family member did pass, guess what? The lies got spread, drama ensued as well as some death threats toward me for my alleged 'lies'. When someone says they want nothing to do with someone else, even in death, THEY HAVE A REASON, trust me. Fortunately things were close enough that the fallout happened after the ill family member passed so they had their peace, but I definitely saw and understood why they'd asked me to do things the way they had. I think that's what the brother wanted was peace, because seeing his ex wife and his brother together would just be a constant CONSTANT reminder of pain and loss in his final days.
#3: I think the wife is making all the best decisions. It'll give everyone time to simmer and think things through before making any life-changing final decisions. But like you said, dude had 2 YEARS and nothing changed, soooooo.... yeah. I mean, it's perfectly okay to have friends of the opposite gender that you share hobbies with. My best friend is a dude and my husband knows it, but there's also nothing romantic going on between Bestie and I and there never will be. If I ever did start to have romantic feelings for him, I would either back off or break it off entirely with him, but I would be honest with both him AND my husband about why because I meant what I said at the altar and wouldn't want any hurtful lies or deception floating around.

💚 I'd like to see green and yellow. I really like the new mould. I totally agree with you on the second story, the brother just wanted to mend things with his brother just because he felt guilty. The fact that he is taking his anger out on his parents for complying with the older brother wishes shows that he doesn't care about his brothers feelings.
The egg looks like it would be top heavy. Might save you some resin to have a hollow top? Less chance of falling over all the time too? That's a design flaw. You painted it beautifully.

My mother spent her hospice period in my house. My oldest sister and her had not gotten along for years. She did horrible things to our mom. I still allowed her to visit, thinking it would be best if my mom forgave her. During the periods where my mother was aware of her surroundings, if my sister was there, she would become very upset, unsettled and be more in pain. I would never do that again. My mom deserved her time in peace. The only one who felt better was my sister, and frankly, she deserved the treatment she got from my mom.So, the only AH is the cheating brother and ex. 10/10. Making the parents feel guilty about it is a real D!(K move. imo.

The brother was wrong to put his parents in the middle, he should have written his younger brother saying exactly how he felt and to not pester their parents. Or he should have had an attorney get the message across that woukd have kept the parents out of it.
