In his prime, Bob Steele was one of the best cowboy actors around. He was a natural.

Wonderful movie. Loved it. Bob Steele's simply amazing. His mounting the horses in a graceful jump is beautiful

What a beautiful ending to this great Bob Steele movie. Bob Steele was a great actor, and this movie shows it. Also, the way he mounts his horse toward the end of the movie is pure artistry, almost as if he were flying.
Steele's father, Mr. Bradbury, was a wonderful story writer and director who directed so many of Bob's movies. The plot of this movie is interesting and suspenseful.
I have watched so many Bob Steele cowboy movies on RUclips, and love them all. When I was four and five years old, my dear sister used to take me to the movies located on Main Street in Oxford, Pennsylvania. Bob Steele was my favorite cowboy, even then. I have collected a few DVD's of his movies, but it certainly is great that I can see so many Bob Steele cowboy movies on RUclips nowadays. Thank you!

You said it! This has so many high points is deserves to be digitally cleaned up as much as possible. His movies
are easily some of the best. We are so lucky to be able to see these 91 and more years later. The world may be a much different place than it was when these stories were filmed, but the essence of human life is still there,
and the depictions here are very strong - melodrama is one term that used to describe these westerns. The ability to exaggerate a feeling, just enough, for just long enough, and to make it seem 'normal.'
Thank you for posting this film!

    1) The missing ending (13 minutes) can be found on the Internet Archive.
    2) So, "Dad Tracy" knew that Lee Morgan kidnapped Bob Carruthers from his father the Marshal. He kept the secret from both Bob and his real father for 17 years, presumably because he fears Morgan. In fact, he fears Morgan so much that he has lived next to Morgan all these years. He hopes that his daughter marries Bob, so that Bob's kidnapper becomes his daughter's father-in-law. What was screenwriter Robert N. Bradbury smoking? BTW, Bradbury was Bob Steele's father.
