Hank Davis kills Jack Lewis to get his gold mine. Bruce Conway brings him in but then realizes Davis is the only one that knows where the mine is. Bruce and his pal Whitey rescue Davis from the lynch mob only to have Davis' gang catch them and leave them in the desert to die.

Even the opening title cards, and so often the music that charges up the viewer, in these Bob Steele westerns are a big part of the pleaseure of watching them. When they were new, it was the same in feature films, the mood being set from the first moment. Thank you for posting this film!
Multi-talented leading lady Harley Wood was a blessing on this earth. Buck Connors was a Texas Ranger and part of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. Great to see America's favorite sheriff granite-jawed Jack Rockwell and western's favorite villain Charles King. Bob Steele and dad give us another winner with this wonderful movie.
I don't know. Charles King played a good guy rarely, but he did play one. He even did a couple of good comedy turns in Hoot Gibson movies. As far as I know, Roy Barcroft never did, although, off screen, he was a really nice person.

Like all other movies of Bob Steele.. this too is wonderful. Loved watching it. Bob Steele alights a horse in a big graceful jump. That's amazing
What a pleasure to watch a Bob Steele cowboy movie. This one, as all his movies, has a great plot. Bob and his father were a fantastic team.
