Thanks for sharing, I first visited Egypt so many years ago, and I loved it so much that I have returned 4 times since (the last time was April this year) as much as I love Egypt and what they offer, I really wish the ministry of tourism there could do something about the hawkers/hasslers or whatever they are called. I`m well traveled, but it`s in Egypt where I do feel like I'm afraid to lift my head because I don`t want the next hassler to meet my eyes and start asking me to buy something and they are so relentless but along the way, I learned that saying "la shukran" surprises them so much they mostly leave you alone. Really enjoyed your video and subscribed as I`d love to follow your journey.
Hi Rika! Thank you so much for stopping by our channel to watch comment and subscribe we appreciate the support! Egypt is a stunning country and it’s unfortunate that the government doesn’t regulate the sheer amount of vendors within the historical sites as they can be a nuisance. Nonetheless, the Pyramids, Abu Simbel, and other attractions are worth the hassle. Helps if you have a local guide with you.
Awesome video.!! I watch a lot of Ancient Egypt archaeology stuff on tv and this is just so neat to see you two over there seeing it all firsthand.!! We are excited about the Ramses 1 exhibit coming to the De-young musuem up here in SF in August:)
Great video. I was going to ask you, I’m going with my family to Egypt in January planning on taking Uber from Cairo to Alexandria. Do you think that is a good idea? From Alexandria we will fly to Aswan to take the river boat. Hola from Nicaragua keep up the good work
Hi Ramon! Unfortunately, we didn't visit Alexandria so we are not sure what the best method of transport would be. Might we suggest utilizing a couple of online forums for reference. TripAdvisor, Reddit, and Fodors are excellent resources that you should peruse through. Have fun!
Hi again, we sailed on The Le Feyan. If you browse through our videos, the link is in the description to the video titled "Best Way To Travel Egypt." This one provides a bit of insight into the cruise as well as visits to a few temples. You can always of course search for The Le Fayan in any of your favorite web browsers.
You go son! Tell that story😃. The evening at the pyramids looks really nice. I like the way it glows. Loving you and Gabbys adventures❤
