Please do an episode of the Nubian people (as long as the powers that be will let you fo so). As I understand it, they had a culture that celebrated the human form, in that the youth were encouraged to be unclothed. It so contradicts strict religious doctrine of Islam and Christianity, that this tradition is probably harshly suppressed. What a better world we would have if we could appreciate the freedom of each other and love people for who they are.

The Nile cruise in Luxor and Aswan is quite popular among Egyptians, and also relatively cheap, and travelling in April makes it even cheaper since it is not the high season. That is why you will always find many many Egyptians aboard.

I love Nubian people. They are very tall with long arms and legs, for walking great distances. they are slim and black, almost blue black. They are humble. The model Iman has a very friendly face. Nubian people also have a face like Iman. I made that trip in 1983 and saw some Nubian people on the outskirts of Luxor. Their silhouette is striking, because their stride is 50% longer then a normal human. They exude their humbleness.

can't wait to watch your videos in Marsa Alam, it's a great place to play with Dolphins and it's so quiet and peaceful ♥♥
Back in 1920, it was so mysterious and romantic.
Now...
Colonizing era you mean??
It was the time of adventure and exploration but more precisely it was the time of exploitation n stealing n each one of those explorer/theive went home with a mummy !!!!
How shameless they were .
Now .... they still are ,
keeping their loot i mean😏
great video cant wait for next episode welcome to Egypt hope you enjoyed your time
Thank you very much for following along! 😀
Welcome to Egypt 🇪🇬
Thank you Hazem! 👊
Aswan and proud this is my city, im happy to see u enjoy in ur journey and wish u dome back again
I really recommend tourists to go Luxor and Aswan instead of going to Cairo to see the Pyramids, it’s just an incredible experience
Obsessed with your Egypt vlogs . Wow . The whole trip looks amazing .
Don't forget to visit Musa's mountain and diving in the Blue Hole, it's a great adventure, your videos are awesome👌❤
Yes! We're planning the next leg of our adventure now!!
I am planning my wedding in Aswan Nubian Village next week. Cant wait ! Your video was so inspiring and motivational
Cant wait to bring my 60 guests to discover this beautiful part of my country (im syrian egyptian who lives abroad and it was a dream to bring them all to Aswan )
Don't fret over using a river boat to facilitate your voyage upriver.
Thanks for showing not only the spectacular ruins, but also the super colorful Nubian architecture. I had no idea. To me, it alone is worth the trip.
Thanks Jim! I completely agree, I had no idea about Nubian culture until this day... and I'm learning a lot more with the comment section of this video! 😂
Woohoo! I’ve been hanging out for a week for this video.
Haha, I hope it lived up to your expectations Richard! 😅
Magnificent Egypt
Seriously best video I have ever seen in the RUclips
How did you do it? Did you just fly on your own to Cairo? Then arranged tours with a guide ahead of time before flying to Egypt? Are you in a group tour? What tour agency did you use? Your boat accommodation looks ok.
The Nile cruise in Luxor and Aswan is quite popular among Egyptians, and also relatively cheap, and travelling in April makes it even cheaper since it is not the high season. That is why you will always find many many Egyptians aboard.
Also the weather is bearable this time of year, haha! 😅 Thanks so much for watching!
Yes Nile river was very very nice I am Filipina and I was there last December for vacations. .and I really enjoyed staying in cruise ship..and we've visit all temples..great luxor nice vlog I enjoyed watching from Kuwait 😊😊😊
Wow this place is absolutely stunning
You are so friendly, glad to see your review ☮️
Thank you very much, Mohamed!
Just amazing man! You have such a charisma! I already know about your new plans. From the bottom of my heart you deserve the best as you give your best. 💪🤗
Thank you Gareth Leonard and Co. Handsome guys, nice voice. Well done documentaries tangling 1:20 subjects as prices, sustainability, ecological aspects. Not too pretentious, close to life kindda documentaries, enlightening and covering subjects you want to know. Really good job! Now, Im gonna see what you experienced in Brazil which i visited for three months...look forward to!
Nice to watch your latest vlog.
Love your videos in Egypt .. thanks for the visit and hope you come back :)
Happy Easter Garett, maybe you can find a nice lamb dinner to celebrate the holiday.
Happy Easter Mark! 🍻

It was so beautiful!!
Great video , love Egypt , love your channel keep going
Thank you so much Nanno! 🙏
Am Ugandan in BC, I went to school with nubian and have Friends in my adulthood who r nubian,,.surprisingly I met someone born and raised in Ontario and claimed he was nubian and he has finally in Egypt, but he asked me a question being someone from where the nile starts ,his question was do u know where the mountain of the moon was ,,his ancestors told his its where the came from, I told its where am from But am not nubian and we call is the Rwenzori mountain it boards ug and Congo, so my point is its hard to pin point the people of Africa in one place we ve been moving and we r still moving looking for better pasture for cow metaphorically speaking.
Egypt is beautiful and that grey cat is so cute
we were there before the pandemic, the nile river cruise is really a nice thing to do, you have to do the Jordan’s Red Rose City
You should visit Siwa Oasis, I'm sure you would like it.
He already did and made a video about
I love this series so much and we're so happy to be here in Egypt ♡
Dude loved the intro!! We’ll travel deeper tomorrow 😂 enjoy it!!
Haha, thank you! I was torn 😂
I really appreciate 😍one youtuber called sony is making bad videos about egypt telling people dont go to egypt.. on the other hands your video and expirence in egypt was great as we can see in your videos .. i hope more people beleive Egypt is afancy plce
My dream to visit this Place on Earth.... God bless me... I want to see them all. Thanks
I hope you have the opportunity to visit one day Mona! Thank you for watching 🙏
مرحبا بك في مصر 🇪🇬 رحله سعيده
I would never go on a cruise either!! But the boat cruise is much better and nicer than a cruise would be. Great video!!
Great video! Lots of nice people. What you did was not a foo foo cruise, it was an experience with Egyptian people.
Thank you so much, and I completely agree! It was such a great and "authentic" experience for us! 😊
Have you read Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile, Gareth? It takes place in Aswan and on a cruise on the Nile, too. They also stop at sites too. This video made me think of it.
Love seeing the ancient Egyptian sites and history.
This is immediately what I thought of. Being on a cruise on the Nile automatically makes me think of that
Beautiful cruise boat…..
👏👏👏👏¡Que viaje tan interesante! ¡Saludos desde Buenos Aires! 😘🙋🏻♀️🇦🇷🙏
Very beautiful loved the video ❤️😍😍
Thank you so much Rosaline!! 🙏
Hey Gareth love all your videos and travel experiences. BTW did you know Pollo Loco is using part of your videos? I just saw you on their commercial LOL… but those weren’t the Birrria tacos they are selling!!!

I am booked on a Nile river cruise in September and after 2 years of no international travel I am so looking forward to it. I was in Egypt 35 years ago and on that trip sailed the Nile on a felucca so this will be a very different experience.
@iegypte on Instagram! Text us and we'll help you like we helped Gareth :)
I ever wanted to go to Egypt. Any suggestion on how to do it coz I know that to have a local with me is better. Where is seba, not sure if this is the right spelling.
that was beautiful , literally movie set that temple next to the river. Crazy! that was awesome
Right!? For both Luxor and Aswan it felt like we were in the movies. So unreal!
Thank you for your wonderful experience!
Great video! My dream is to one day visit Egypt
I hope you have the opportunity one day! 🙏
May it be a video about your shooting device, what kind of camera and movie, what kind of DaJiang. Very appreciated for your share.
Good idea! I use the Sony A7siii 👌
