Thank you so much, Father Casey, for producing yet another podcast to bring greater exposure to the Christian worldview. Between Breaking In The Habit, Everyday Liminality, Upon Friar Reviews, and this new podcast, I am flabbergasted that you can juggle all of this content. Your ability to multitask, while producing such high quality work, is a gift! We, who are so hungry for content that focuses on a Catholic perspective of various areas of pop culture, appreciate you and your fellow Friars who make this all possible. God Bless You!
I love you guys. Taking the cake takes the biscuit.
On a more serious note , we are all human first.
I, for one, look up to you and several other priests for direction .
That is a heavy burden for you priests and we are duty bound to pray for you.
It works both ways.
Love your content! Helps me keep the faith🙏 Can’t thank you enough!!!
Wait a second, since when are Franciscan Friars arbiters in gang disputes? I really want the story behind that.
Better subscribe and hit that bell then. His story is wild.
@@BreakingInTheHabit- know any interesting women?
I've told my kids it is possible to be both right and wrong at the same time. It's an important lesson. It's especially true in some situations where you shouldn't have put yourself in it in the first place and then have to make a difficult decision. You may make the second decision right, but the first decision to put yourself there was wrong.
I've finally come back to the church after many years of rebellion. but in the last few years, I've wanted to dedicate myself more wholly to Christ and the church. as it turns out I'm too old to become a friar, which I find to be a little unfortunate. but that means I have to find something else. God and Christ will guide me.
I think you can become a Greek catholic monk regardless of age
Methodist here. Always eager to see what new thing you have share, Casey. 🙂
With such ease I get caught up in all my trivial, small, meaningless problems, make them into a Greek epic drama, and then God brings me back to reality. Thanks Father Casey.
Maybe one day you can have Father Carlos from Holy Spirit Parish, he is a MASTER of helping the marginalized have a place in the community........he's a friend of your I believe. LOL, your shows led me to reach out to him. Thanks again Father Casey!
Love Fr. Tito! I'm glad you're doing this with him. I've missed Everyday Liminality.
Juat want to say that your channel single-handedly reminded me of the best parts of the Catholic Church. The smiles, the friendly discussions of the soul, personhood and even the theocratic structure of the church itself. I can't wait to see the full podcast, thank you and God bless for all the work you've done in helping me reconnect with faith.
Another random thought... I absolutely love the prayer of St. Francis! It embodies so many virtues I want to have, and am trying to develop.
Thank you! Love to see Friar Tito but hope to Friar Patrick too. There must be so many stories.
I have a parishioner who says whenever I preach on forgiveness he says I can do without the f word! I pray for him daily!
Wow, meet the Fryars!
Awesome! I would love to hear their stories.
This sounds wonderful. Thanks! I missed you at ReCongress in Anaheim. God bless you.
Wow, this is very exciting news Fr. Casey! I really look forward to engaging!
That sounds like a great plan for a podcast. Look forward to hearing about your brother's lives and adventures.
Wow, this sounds like an amazing channel.....live an amazing life, a gift from God. Every gift from God is amazing!
This is going to be a great series. Looking forward to hearing all the brothers’ stories!
Great initiative!!!
Great news! I can't wait to dive in.
Good stuff🎉🎉🎉
I'm really going to enjoy this new content. Just subscribed to the new channel
Imagine going through those emotions, you have so many questions. Being a religious/ priest does not mean we shut down our emotions of anger or disappointment. Like Jesus who was fully human and divine, he also had emotions which he dealt with. My gospel is very simple- people need to manage their expectations. We are not robots, we still have to process things and prayer is not a magic pill or a reset button. At the end of the day, forgiveness is a process not an event.
I would be remiss if I didn't suggest and mention The Bible in a Year Podcast by Ascension. It's the first time I've ever actually read the Bible- it's great!
I'm looking forward to this! The clip was great, very interesting and entertaining. 😁❤️❤️❤️
Love the content Fr. Casey, down to earth (no pun intended) and relatable
I’m not that intrigued primarily because I spent 7 years at Franciscan parish in San Francisco tenderloin. We had all these disasters, all kinds. I feel like been there done that. I moved to super wealthy church in San Francisco, staffed by the Dominicans. Was great because I worked on another part of my spiritual self for more balance. I’m an old fart. I needed to get more rounded and real as I was facing death myself.
Awesome
Fr Casey, I think you and your mission are important. Can you address Fr Richard Rohr’s theology? I don’t mean in a combative way. I mean, can you try to help us understand how he is orthodox? Pleeeeeeaaase….
Wow that clip is wild
Wait til you listen to the rest!
(Reads video title)
"That's what she said!"
5 seconds later...
"O, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended thee..."
You are so needed for sociak medua......God give you health.
PODCAST ?????YES
Oh Thank God! I was devastated seeing upon fryer review stoped posting videos, and then filled with joy I found out about this channel. Why did you guys stop posting on the other channel? I’m a little late to the party here.
I think we now know why
I couldn’t get the link for the podcast.
Looking forward to it! Will there be anymore "Everyday Liminality?"
Let’s go!!!!!🎉😂❤

pretty cool
I like your name Fr Casey. Sounds adorable on you.
I didn't catch what the person did wrong
Oh man, out of the frying pan out of the friar
Is the new show called... Father Time!?
You know baseball Casey? I know you do. In 1993 the San Francisco Giants won a record 103 games but they still had to win the final game of the season to make the play offs. They had two experienced 20 game winners on their staff but the manager decided to start Solomon Tores a 21 year old who hadn't had a pitch in the major leagues for a month. Anyway he got destroyed. He gave up 3 runs 5 hits walked five in three innings. The Giants lost. Didn't make the play offs for four more years and Tores went on to a forgettable career. So much for being Big. We can all learn this lesson.
❤
Fr. Casey is the person I want to meet.
What is the name of the new RUclips Channel?
Minor Characters. It's in the card in the top right of the video.
A lot of truth bombs right there in that short clip. Looking forward to this series.
If only the media was as eager to highlight all of the good done by religious figures rather than rubbernecking at the evil individuals who have infiltrated the Faith(s).
You’re the most interesting person I know.
Is Upon Friar Review coming back? Is Father Pat OK?
Well I think we can safely say no ..... 😬
@@oliverfletcher1939 Definite no seeing that Father Patrick has been removed from ministry for sexual misconduct.
Do you get along with Episcopalian Franciscans ?
Ephesians 1:6 KJV "to the praise of the glory of HIS grace, wherein HE has made us accepted in the beloved (forgiven of all sins). 7 in WHOM we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS grace;
Ephesians 2:4 KJV "But GOD, who is rich in mercy, for HIS great love wherewith HE loved us, 5 even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us (made us alive) together with CHRIST, by grace you are saved; 8 For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
Note: Grace means a free gift undeserved and unearned.
What happened to Priests React?? I love watching those videos and now they are just gone...
What happened to Fr. Patrick?
Well bad news I'm afraid
First.
Edit:man i never clicked on a video first 😅
Edit 2:i'm Also subed to The minor caracter podcast
I’m very early
One should ask what is meant by interesting lives? One man's meat is anothers poison. Visiting 100 countries could be a chore for many especially when one could be a *couch* traveller, this is said with my daughter in mind who has travelled extensively - North South, East & West rubbing shoulders with all & sundry. But, interesting character 🤔?? - hardly ever shares her experiences.
An interesting character is in the eye of the beholder - *truly* father Casey. 😉.
If we can’t forgive one another how will God for us, Thomas Merton introduced eastern mysticism into Catholicism and he died suddenly, lve been reading 10 storey mountain and it’s a really good catholic book and l know his later books became more about eastern mysticism, and so l forgive him, because he wasn’t trying to start a new age movement it just happened
People forget that priest are only human and they they over worked saving souls. God bless you Father
We all admire Father Casey, but that art clip of him at the end.... oof
So this is what MatPat left youtube for.
PS: no offense. This is just a joke. May God bless you.♥️✝️
His outside the body feeling is Depersonalization . Not a good feeling .

Ummm.. at least acknowledge that Christ teaches we are to forgive swiftly .. and it is not optional.
DENY yourselves !
I do not believe I can recommend any of Fr. Casey Cole, OFM's posts to thoughtful persons. Based on my own experience, after all of my fruitless attempts to politely dialogue with him over his opinions, and receiving no response whatsoever, I can only characterize his posts as "Hit And Run" personal opinion. I do not understand why any serious minded person would take the time and trouble to make numerous remarks on multiple platforms only to hide from any serious inquiry. It is most unfortunate that I arrive at this conclusion, but the only one in accord with the facts. I recommend that everyone seeking informed and balanced Catholic commentary find another reliable and trustworthy channel(s). My advice to Fr. Cole is to either attempt to engage with your audience, or to restrict yourself to your personal academic concerns.
