Hats off to you Mark! I don't think I'd have had the heart to do that, seeing the sorry state it arrived in. I would probably just gutted the amp out of it and built a replica. Great result, well done sir !
I have a 1962 ......no rectifier totally deadly...l'm glad see they "rectified" that issue with the 65 . These awesome cheapos were never meant to last as long as they did ......thankfully a lot of Beatlemania driven boomers lost interest in them after the british invasion died down and they were put in the back of thousands of suburban closets where they'd often sit undisturbed for decades.....i believe that to be the case with my 1448 guitar and case because while not mint by any means they look reasonably good and play great considering they'e 61 years old and they even have the original silvertone branded tubes❤
Wow! Great work on my favourite amp of all time!!! This is the best. I too would've pulled the amp and speaker and built a tiny combo. Respect. And a beautifully made video to boot. Thankyou.
For those who love restoring old vintage gear, this is such a pleasure to watch. Amazing work!!!
Many thanks!
One of my most anticipated series ever! Thank you

Thanks!
Fabulous restoration, and superlative music. Your work is so inspiring.
Thank you so much 😀
had one in 1964. 6 years old first guitar.
Excellent! And amazing music 🌞🌞🌞
PRETTY TOO WATCH,,great job Mark!
Thanks 👍
I watch a lot of resto videos and yours are amongst the best. Can I just say....the equipment you restore seems to be outfitted with a lot of hinges latches and other hardware which was at one time plated and that your restorations would benefit from having your own small electroplating setup. It's not complicated and there are tons of videos on how to do it.
Thanks for the suggestion. I just googled DIY electroplating. I'm gonna give it a shot. Thanks again!
Of all the music you could pick.
Brilliant work Mark :-) You should have more viewers, this is good stuff you do! I clicked like 🙂
Thank you so much 😀
Makes me want to send mine to you. I have one that was in almost brand new condition. It got put in our basement (which flooded) and did quite a bit of damage to it. 😞
On the tiles/ paper did u use Contact Cement..thanks
The beginning of the video is almost like a horror movie. 😂
Was that just soap water that you were using to clean those hinge areas? or was it epoxy..? You do it to a drill hole at 13:10. Thanks
Yes just soap and water.
Eeewwww....good job
Music ; Key-board or Roland Midi through a guitar or a combo of both ....or ,and ??
The music is all composed with synths. The "guitar" sound is a GUZHENG.
@@MarkGutierrez Thanks for the reply ; love your show and your work .
