Content validity Index for scale development- I-CVI, S-CVI/Ave and S-CVI/ UA using a live example in MS Exel. Do feel free to contact me on: emailofsony@gmail.com
Really informative. I went through multiple studies and finally got this video. It is really helpful. Developed a clear concept about how to calculate ICVI. Great Thanks
Very good video. Does this apply to just that single domain? What if you have multiple domains in a questionnaire and you've calculated CVI for each of the domains? In that case how do you calculate content validity for the entire questionnaire?
Determining the number of experts has always been partly arbitrary. At least five people are recommended to have sufficient control over chance agreement. The maximum number of judges has not been determined yet, however, it is unlikely that more than 10 people are used. Anyway, as the number of experts increases, the probability of chance agreement decreases. Gilbert & Prion (2016) suggested that in some content areas where is difficult to find experts, the use of three experts is acceptable. The preferred number is between 5 to 10 panels. Some researchers asserted that the use of 10 experts or more is probably unnecessary.
Found this video after I read multiple of CVI research papers. I must say that this is great especially on the calculation demonstration! Thank you

thanks for this guide, it helps me a lot especially when I'm a non-statistic background
This video really helped me alot and it's easy to understand too
found very useful.
thanks sir
thank you for this video..it help me a lot..
This video helped me alottttt. Thankyou. Can you please post the theory related to this video.
Thanks
Thank you...
WHAT do you do with the communication responses?
Very good video, but it would have been better if the sound would a little higher...
thanks

sir can i use CVI to evaluate content validity for English language question paper?
sir can you share the spreadsheet template
Does it have to be six raters exactly?
No, it can be any amount you want. There are charts online showing the acceptable scores for each amount of experts you have.
Nice video, simple to undertsand, and practical. may i know any golden standard for the number of expert? is it six?
