Hi Everyone 👋. As you may already know, we earn and save money for travels through teaching. I have been getting a lot of questions about teaching English abroad and which TEFL (TESOL) company I got my certificate through. I did my course (120 hours) online through ITTT (www.teflcourse.net/?cu=PSLNH2016C) and it was super easy and cheap considering how ridiculously expensive these courses have become. They are offering a 10% discount if you use the code: PSLNH2016C . I am no longer in the TEFL game, but teaching English abroad gave me the opportunity to save some money, I could afford to study further and saved money to travel. I also met my future wife while teaching in Korea ♥😍 I am sharing this, because I know times are tough and jobs a pretty scarce at the moment, so hopefully it can help at least one person. So please SHARE to help someone who might be or is wanting to teach English abroad. I will gladly answer any questions!! 🙂
This is great, but when I go backpacking I prefer having only my big backpack and then maybe a little purse as personal item or at least make sure you personal item fits into the backpack after your flight... I don't think it's comfortable to carry around 2 bags...
If both packs - backpack and ‘frontpack’ - have D-rings on them, you can use carbiners to hold the front one on. You only have to undo one ‘biner to take both packs off. I did this once when winter backpacking and I couldn’t fit everything into one bag. It worked great! It’s way better than trying to get both pairs of shoulder straps to stay on and be comfortable. Try it!
One cool tip is to pack an empty pillow case. If you get to dodgy areas you can put your own pillowcase over the pillows or you can add your clothes into it to create a makeshift pillow. That was a kinda cool traveling tip.
Hey girl! I know it's been a long time but I'm wondering how you got around to using your epilator? Was it harder than expected (while in hostels) did you actually use it? THANKS!!
You guys have done such an amazing job packing so light! Nothing like us at all...we seem to have stuff coming out our ears! haha How good are packing cubes! Blows your mind how much easier they make it to live out of a bag. Great vid! - Thomas
Ha ha, well will see how it goes. We will probably end up with stuff coming out of our ears, ha ha! They are life changing! Amazing things. Thanks Thomas :)
Can those two bags be carry on and personal bag instead of being checked in?? because i'm worried the airline will say the carry you have is too heavy.
Hi! i would like to know if you didn't have a problem with the airlines bringing both items on cabin? i see some airline say you can bring one carry on and a small "purse"
Great Video - Thanks! I just got this bag for a 3 month trip to Asia. But I'm not sure if it's the right fit - as in my bag sits quiet high because I have a small torso. I'm 5"3, was thinking to go for the 40L but I read below that this actual backpack is 40L and the daypack is 15L... is this totally the wrong bag for me/my height?
I have actually been trying to find a traveller that had a different alternative to shaving! Which brand are you using and comments about it? Im looking for one for traveling and not worrying about waxing stuff or razors. Thank you in advance, and loving your videos
Hi Nathalie! I use a Philips one. I've had it for about 5 years so I'm sure there are newer models out now. It is AMAZING! So much cheaper than waxing and way better than shaving. The only problem is it's a bit time consuming. Glad I could be ok help:) Let me know if you have any other questions
Love this video! and I'm thinking about buying a same one backpack. Just wondering if it is too large for me cuz i'm short. Could you plz tell me your height? I'm about 160cm
You should've bought the Farpoint 55 in SM size which is 2" shorter and should be eligible as carry on in 99% of the time. I'm 5'11" and use the SM myself as carry-on. Your Daypack is every thief's wet dream and since your main pack is already full do you carry your electronics (external hard drive, seriously?) in your Daypack all the time?
I have a question. do you leave your passport at the hostel reception or in the hostel safe when going partying or when going to the beach? Im really torn about this but I think it might be a safer idea. would love your input
Solid deodorant lasts a lot longer, it isn't a liquid. Solid tolietries are a far better idea for long term travel, if you had packed slightly differently you needn't have taken such a large backpack
I would recommend you not to bring stuff like shampoo. Just buy it when you get to the country you want to go to. And an epilator is quite bulky just pring a razor instead. And why two deodorants? Just bring one and buy another one if one runs out.
I considered the razor idea, but when you travel Asia, you will see the beaches are littered with disposable razors, shaving cream containers and packaging. :)
Hey! I was thinking of getting this backpack for my trip to Thailand. Can you use this bag as a carryon? if you detach the smaller backpack from the 40L big pack? I would love to know your insight. Thank!
Stephanie Morrison Hi Stephanie! Yes you can definitely use it as a carry on with most airlines. Except AirAsia (they are not great and we wouldn't recommend flying with them😂). But the bag is awesome, the perfect size and I love that I can take it carry on.
Lol, yeah just depends. We prefer a hard copy and often in Southeast Asia, internet is not always available and paying for data can eat into your backpackers budget.
It is ways too much stuff in my opinion. I travelled with half of your things. More washing less carrying and if you need things you can buy it there mostly even cheaper if you are in Asia.

Two life-changing things: packing cubes and a menstrual cup! I couldn't travel anywhere without these now. Great tips, Hayley!
Ah, they are amazing right! So glad we discovered them :) Thanks so much for watching Kallsy :)
How do you clean it?
@@Victoriavelezzabala You probably know by now, but you just empty them and rinse them with water and sterilise them once a month with boiling water.

You are one of the most simple girl to travel. Other people bring too many. I like your style
Love the way you showed everything- so creative and interesting! I just spent 4 months in Asia and packed very similarly :)
Krysti Jaims thank you :)
Hey girl! I know it's been a long time but I'm wondering how you got around to using your epilator? Was it harder than expected (while in hostels) did you actually use it?
THANKS!!
where did you purchase those packing cubes, great tip! x
Hope you are having a blast! Great packing list!
This sounds exciting! I love your packing tips as well. I suck at it!

Can you share me the link from amazon of the packing cubes? ❤️❤️❤️
So useful! Thank you for this
Exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you so much for your help and advice!

Nice video :)
Where did you get the little bags?
Very informative vid! What is your day pack and how big (volume) is it? Thanks!
Stupid question, but how do you bring tweezers in your carry-on? I thought they were forbidden to bring on in your carry-on?

Sorry this is in regards to your epilator
Hi Nathalie! I use a Philips one. I've had it for about 5 years so I'm sure there are newer models out now. It is AMAZING! So much cheaper than waxing and way better than shaving. The only problem is it's a bit time consuming. Glad I could be ok help:) Let me know if you have any other questions
Where did you get the travel document holder?
so, the packs you are using are actually Farpoint 55L. The video at 3:32 shows the name on the pack
Aman Haer Yes, so the actual backpack is 40L and the day pack is 15L so all together it's 55L :)
Can you use Farview 55 as a hand luggage? Because I am wandering what will be better if Sirrus 50 or Farview 55. Because Farview looks too big.
The shape of the 55l and the 40l is different so the 55l might not pass the carry-on box. It would be interesting to know how it went.
ceicli
Are they messy??
Where do you wash all your clothes when on your holidays?
Love this video! and I'm thinking about buying a same one backpack. Just wondering if it is too large for me cuz i'm short. Could you plz tell me your height? I'm about 160cm
2:11 where is this toiletry bag from?

Your Daypack is every thief's wet dream and since your main pack is already full do you carry your electronics (external hard drive, seriously?) in your Daypack all the time?
Thabks for that tip. Our backpack with the daypack was 55L and it actually worked perfectly for us. Yes we put all our electronics in the daypack
Are you from South Africa - using

Love your energy. Travel well and far! :)
You showed the 55 L Ospray backpack not a 40L one ??

Hi ! What is the brand of the packing cute you used for shoes.
I would recommend you not to bring stuff like shampoo. Just buy it when you get to the country you want to go to. And an epilator is quite bulky just pring a razor instead. And why two deodorants? Just bring one and buy another one if one runs out.
