I did a second playthrough of X7 the other day and gained some sort of appreciation for it, yeah it has lots of flaws, bad voice acting thats so bad it’s cringe funny, but hey it gave us the best boi Axl, Axl was so pushed he was featured on the back of the game case cover and even on the game disc itself. Basically Megaman X7 is my favorite *”Bad”* X Game, here’s another example, Sonic 06 is my favorite *”Bad”* Sonic Game.
Oh yeah, I’m extremely biased but I find it hard to truly dislike any entry in the X series (except for a current mobile title that will not be named). I also agree with your stance on 06, I enjoy it quite a bit outside of its technical flaws
I played X7 again back in February when I first replayed the mainline X series again after four long years and I still hate X7. I can appreciate for what they were trying to do and all the ideas they had for this one, but they didn't execute them very well. X7 to me is way to damn boring to even consider replaying again for the third time and I won't even play it again for video/countdown purposes. As for Sonic 06, I haven't played it and I don't have a opinion on it. The only thing I have to say about it is that it's one of the most overreviewed games on RUclips and the internet as a whole.
@@superharpuia To me the only redeeming qualities about X7 are the Volt Tornado being completely busted, and that the Giga Crash actually deals a lot of damage to bosses, unlike its previous incarnations. Too bad it takes an eternity to refill though. I wish we had another X game in 3d, but with good level design
@@tdawgmaster1729 I actually like X5. I think it's a good game with some massive flaws. Despite those flaws, I legitimately enjoy the game and I can't bring myself to hate something I enjoy. As for X7, I'm surprised the giga crush actually does some good damage to bosses compared to X2, X4, and X5.
The Story Peaks when Axl leaves Red Alert. But then it goes down hill once X retires. Why did the Story Writers make X retire, especially after his heroic actions in Mega Man X6.
This is literally X7's plot in a nutshell. It's the second worst in the series in terms of plot besides X4. Speaking of which, can you make a parody video of X4's plot in a nutshell?
X4 is booty because it had the setup for something incredibly cool and then did the exact opposite. But honestly, still better than this because it at least has some setup for X5 and has some conceptual relevance to the series. You can completely remove X7 and all you have to adjust is how Axl gets introduced to the series and his existance is honestly optional anyhow because the copybot-plot does not even need him to work.
@@lpfan4491 X4 had potential to be one of the best stories in the Mega Man Franchise, but the writers ran face first into the wall by including Sigma and making some of the repli-force members evil despite the fact that they said they're not rebelling against their human creators. That and we have a game that could've been avoided entirely if the repli-force weren't a bunch of prideful morons. If they just put down their weapons and came in for questioning, the game could've been avoided entirely. As for X7, they should've made the game about reploids who thought the maverick hunters weren't doing things right and they decided to went in and handle it themselves. Instead of Hunters fighting hunters with good intentions, we get a court case plot about Axl not wanting to go back with his family because Sigma corrupted their minds for the 9th time because he doesn't know when to quit.
@@superharpuia But that's exactly what Red Alert was all about until Sigma showed up. If Sigma wasn't in X3, X4 and X7 their stories would have been a lot better. He didn't really do anything in X6 besides finish off an already-dying Gate so it gets a half pass
@@tdawgmaster1729 X7 shouldn't have brought Sigma back because he ruined the plot and this time around, it's more of a joke that the same guy can come back for an ass whopping that many times. X7 should've stayed with the idea of the other reploids losing faith in the maverick hunters and they decided to take matters into their own hands which meant they had to be killed because they were an illegal maverick hunter group that killed mavericks. At the end of the game, X and Zero would question if it's right to kill reploids that had different beliefs and a different way of taking care of mavericks (Kinda like X4).
This is better than the actual game
X being the mother means everything to me
Lol, the way the song started when they asked who was behind everything is perfect.
This would explain why we never see Douglas again
Neither did we see Lifesaver again, & he got replaced by a Cinnamon. (More like Waifu Nurse)
Zero spittin fax tho
True
This is a masterpiece

Well the only other actually bad X game is X5, and well... it's X5...

3:01 Ok, I'm dead, lmao.
That's amazing, good job!
And in the end it's wasn't sigma but Willy.
This is brilliant lmao
