This is gives me a good burn.
I’ve neglected my abs for the longest and focused lifting weights but finally decided to focus on core/abs. I would rather do 150lbs of leg extension for 50 reps then do 20 of these in a row.
I thought the worst burn feeling was from leg extensions but wow this workout is just crazy.
same thing. I am probably newer on the lifting weight though.
I want to be able to do pull ups, but realised it doesn’t matter how big my arms get if the abs and core strength are non existent😅
how tf did she do it so perfect ?

The hardest part of my exercise in this level! My stomach and back hurt... And my legs can't be straight! But I try more. I'll be happy if you have tips for me to make it easier
Atefe B like my sexuality......sorry bad joke
@@karamel8150 yeah poor taste
Just keep training. Good breath and position are a must
Practice! practice! practice! these are still hard for me too but I’m determined to be able to do them correctly one day
@@nicolehernandez1291 can you do them correctly now?
I wonder if timing breathing in as you lift your legs up and breathing out as you lower them helps as I didn't hear that on this video.
Great video - thx for sharing this amazing workout-tips!
thanks for the tips
Please notice that in the video, she starts with her hands under her butt as instructed but midway when the video switches angle, her hands are flat on the floor, next to her body, not under her butt. Then, when the video goes back to the earlier angle, her hands are back under her butt again. Obviously, this is two different videos spliced together.
My question is, which way is best, or how do the two approaches exercise the body differently. My intuition is that the hands-by-the sides is more challenging but also may be more stressful on the back.
I happen to come here b/c I was looking for a video to explain to a friend the exercise I added on my own - which turns out to be the Lying Leg Raises. Except that I did it with my hands by my sides.
(And BTW - just to be encouraging --- I am 73 yrs old, female. After a year of no working out and developing serious back problems, on the advice of my PT I started with very mild abdominal exercise. But as I built up strength over the last few months, I made my exercises more and more challenging. And I evolved into the Lying Leg Raises w/o even knowing it was an "exercise." If I can do it, anyone can... :-) )
If you're beginner it's better to start with you hands under your butt, and if you're intermediate or above use more challenging method which is butting your hand outside obviously its harder and more effective in my opinion
Try both and see which works for you the best, and keep switching
I finally broke after getting picked on for being 10 pounds to much and this really helps
Love this one

Can we have that in novice language please? What are the targeted areas for those of us who do not yet know the tech terms? Thank you.
Your core!! Lower abs and the stabilizing muscles of the hip/leg
Merci
Shall I do dis after c section
First time I did properly I thought I broke my back 😅
What if can't do that. It's so hard I can't pull them up at the same time
one leg at a time is fine, as long you do equal on each, but doing them together is more efficient I'm willing to bet :)
Serenity•.• get stronger nigga
I would suggest an easier version of the exercise - do it with bent legs instead until you become strong enough to do it with straight legs.
Loose weight.
I can help you out with that I’ve got some hidden tips to put in the workout session
Hey guys, what would it be like to inhale and exhale while doing this exercise?
my back is arched and curved is it still ok to do leg raise.
I cannot keep my legs straight up is it fine
Me too my back hurts when I do that
Keep working on it and your legs will get to the point where they are trained to stay straight
You can also do with one leg if raising both of your legs hurts.
Aren't you Russian?
@@user-pw2lo5qw3o Lol. What made you think I am Russian? 😂😂
How do I get my hips to not pop while I do this
Easier to do if you have a flat button and small legs
I cant keep my lower back on the floor
This is difficult 😕 I can't
Practice everyday!! It really helps
