I watched the film yesterday in Cannes and let me tell you... it's AMAZING. For me 4,5 out of 5 stars on Letterboxd.
"Amazing" would be 5 stars. Your contradicting yourself.

@@mariasiburt1755 Its a French-Mexican co-production with the major company backing it being the French studio Pathe. The director is French and most of it was shot in soundstages near Paris.

I am here for all my Hispanic ladies…Selena Gomez, Selena’s spirit because I do believe that when her Mom named her after The Selena she really got a gift, and of course Zoe.
It was her Mexican dad who was a fan of Selena Quintanilla, not her mom.
Selena’s coming for that Oscar nomination I fear & couldn’t be more proud 😭
This is the right path for her. This is a HUGE Step with her about to play Linda R. Sis is coming to make her name known.
The problem are people like Whoopie and others who have it against Selena.
The Grammy's, Oscar's, etc., have it against Selena.
Let's hope that bias changes eventually.
Maybe she will be treated better in Europe.

Un film français de Jacques Audiard tourné en espagnol avec un casting incroyable. J'ai hâte de voir la bande-annonce officielle plus complète. On parle tellement du bien de ce film dans la presse. Sans doute une récompense et peut-être même la Palme d'or.
