    One thing I’ve learned being in a similar situation is to not put our own timetable on God and this was such a great reminder of that in so many different ways. Thank you for sharing!

    I appreciate Dusty's testimony.
    Heavenly Father lives it when His children ASK for healing. The Gift to be healed is a spiritual gift given to some of us and there is nothing offensive to Father in our asking to be healed.

    Randy, I want to thank you for sharing your understanding of things that are coming in these end times. So many people talk about how the Savior will just come. I appreciate you teaching us how we must prepare ourselves spiritually to be strong enough to be faithful during for what is ahead. You are a great blessing to us.

    What an amazing life story! I also have many health problems and it's wonderful to hear someone who feels exactly like I do about it!! I've met too many people who question that I don't have the faith to be healed. For me, once I have learned whatever lesson I needed to learn from each medical difficulty I am healed. Each surgery I have had has also placed me in the hospital to help someone Father wants me to help in some way. The one time I tried refuse ( I just wanted to heal and go home) Father refused my 'resignation ' quite dramatically lol. I had noticed and been drawn to an elderly woman in a room down the hall. I saw her as I did my post surgery walks, and felt a familiarity but wouldn't stop to meet her. When I was released as soon as we arrived home, literally pulled into the driveway, I became violently ill. The vomiting ripped open my incision and some of my bowel came through. Needless to say they had to do surgery again and when I woke up I was in the room across from the elderly lady! The next 5wks were so very special. I'm so grateful Father insisted I meet Mary! She was dying of throat cancer and her family refused to acknowledge that. She tried to talk to them, she wanted to be able to see family before she left too. Mary had been a nurse and knew that if her family didn't talk to her they would regret it, it would be more difficult for them to heal. The first day I went to her room she patted her bed and wanted me to sit. I took her hand and told her she was going to a wonderful place. Her eyes got wide and she replied "I know ". One day after I was released I took my hymn book when I went to my daily visit to her. (I had learned her daughter-in-law was a convert, and had been baptized by my home teacher before she had moved to another city. I had contacted him and he went to the hospital) I had just sat down and opened to Oh, My Father to sing to Mary when the daughter-in-law came in with her 13yr old daughter who I had been spending some time with too. She asked what hymn I was going to sing...I jumped up, handed her the book and told her to sing it and I would take her daughter down to the cafeteria for a snack. The daughter-in-law glanced at the song and then looked at me with despair and whispered "I can't do this one". I told her she could and walked out. I kept the girl out for aprox 40min. When we went back to the room the daughter-in-law was crying. She hugged me and said she would talk to her husband. A few days later Mary's hospital room was filled with friends and family. The sons had finally allowed Mary to express her wishes. I was able to talk to a a niece who was having a very difficult time being there because her mom had also died of throat cancer and seeing Mary had been a shock. I had followed her to the cafeteria seeing how upset she was. I told her it was ok for her to go home, Mary would understand and appreciate her having come. Father didn't want her to feel guilty about leaving early. Mary's sister had to leave by a certain day because her husband needed care. I talked to her too. Mary left 3 days before her sister had to go home. I believe she understood that her sister really wanted to be there for her funeral. My nurse friend was in the room with Mary and her sister and told me it was the most peaceful passing she had ever seen. I look forward to seeing Mary again someday! She's a beautiful person and I understand why Father wanted me to help her. I thank Father for all the wonderful opportunities He has given me to serve. Mary will always be my favorite.

    Randy, this is a little off topic but thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge!! I am confused about the topic of the 144,000. Some things that I do believe on this topic are, That the calling of the 144,000 is a 6th seal event. that the selection began in the Kirkland period and continues to our time. I have people that I know personally in their 50s who are told in their patriarchal blessing that they are part of the 144,000. Things I am confused about are, do women play a role with their husbands if their husbands are called? do the nursing Kings and Queens of the Gentiles mentioned in Isaiah have any connection to the 144,000? Are the 144,000 the hunters who go out after the fishers mentioned in Jer. 16:16? Will the 144,000 be both translated and resurrected beings? will any of them not be translated? will they all have the sealing power and their wives also? Does having the Father's name written in their foreheads mean more than having ones calling and election made sure? If the 10 tribes will make up a large portion of the 144,000 yet do not have their temple endowments yet, how can they progress so rapidly in their spiritual progress to be called as part of the 144,000 in such a short amount of time? It must mean that many of them are close to a sanctified condition before their return even without having received temple ordinances yet? I know some suggest that the ten tribes will play a role in the redemption of Zion close to the time when America is being cleansed and the wicked swept off by the Assyrian. but I am more inclined to think the remnant of Jacob going as a Lion through a flock of sheep and tearing them to pieces is referring to a role that sanctified men of the church will play mostly of Ephriam and some Mannassah. I am hoping that you will address some of these questions in a future video. Best David

      Thanks David, Those are all good questions. I recommend a book called "Becoming Kings and Queens of the Gentiles." By Avraham Gileadi.
      You also could check out "the Triumph of Zion" by John Pontius.
      I will consider this for a future podcast. 👍

    • @spirtualsurvival
      @spirtualsurvival  6 месяцев назад +1

      My best understanding is that the Kings and Queens are the same as the 144,000 and they are all translated beings.

      The Father's name written on their foreheads is the sealing power. Having power over the elements, Convincing power, power to travel instantly. (See JST Genesis 14)

    I am counting on some miracles to happen with my sons. When l get around them my mind shuts down and l have a very difficult time saying all the things l want about the church. I can't give up on them. I fast every Sunday for them. I study the scriptures every day so l will have the spirit if l get a chance to talk about the gospel with them. I have pleaded with the Lord not to give up either. I cant even think that they will be lost. I can say that l have a strong feeling my prayers are going to be answered. When, l dont know.

      I want to share a scripture with you that I opened up to in the celestial room:
      "Your prayers have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and are recorded with this seal and testament-the Lord hath sworn and decreed that they shall be granted.
      3 Therefore, he giveth this promise unto you, with an immutable covenant that they shall be fulfilled; and all things wherewith you have been afflicted shall work together for your good,.."
