My inspiration for this time has been to become a Zion Society and all that entails so that we can be worthy to have a cloud by day and a pillar by night as protection when things get really bad in the world. Thank you for this!
When Matt talked about focusing more on the brazen serpent vs. the fiery serpent, it reminded me of 2 Nephi 8, when the Lord is trying to teach the Jews to have their eye upon their Provider instead of their Oppressor.
It is good to hear there are other saints out there who have received similar promptings as I have: 2019 I was prompted to dive deep into Isaiah and Revelation. 2020-2021 I felt an urgency to get prepared physically- food storage, off grid survival etc. And in 2022 I felt prompted to spend a lot more time than my usual in the temple. It almost felt like I was running out of time to get the work done. Now I’m back to the Isaiah deep dive, and it feels like I’m reading the newspaper, that’s how relevant it is.
What are some of the resources you used to study Isaiah? And also Revelation? I feel prompted to start my study of these great books and use the resources that will help me the best.
I have read a lot of commentaries by LDS authors such as Ludlow, Skousen, Ridges, and Gileadi - I've bought every commentary I could get my hands on. This second go-around I'm working my way through Rhonda Pickering's Isaiah Illustrated. For Revelation I also had multiple commentaries, but I ended up just using Draper and Rhodes' commentary published by BYU. That seemed to have everything the others did all in one place.@@lindahansen9395
I love your analogy of the poisonous serpents vs the brazen serpent and I agree that by being constantly “looking out” for those poisonous serpents can become a practice that deceives some keeping them distracted from looking towards Christ!
I research all the scripture foot notes from the talks and it has lead me down a amazing journey with the HG , even into cross references of cross references 💞
The scriptures are so deep. It's when we dig down deep and search, like you're doing, that the deeper understanding is opened up to us. Thanks for your witness of that!
Now that I’ve finished watching; I must say this was outstanding! I felt the spirit and took notes. Also before Matt started explaining the picture he had of the heart I had the same picture of strings coming out of the heart that are consuming us and attached to Satan. I will watch again and again! I love the idea of praying seriously to overcome the world and tackling one thing at a time. I have had the experience multiple times of God completely taking away some attachments I had to the world; it’s quite an amazing feeling. Thank you very much for this discussion.
Wow! Thank you Randy and Matt. That was so inspirational! I plan to go back again and again to lock in the concepts shared. For me personally I realized I’ve been too much a part of those pointing out the Gadianton robbers and it cut me to the quick to consider that it might be at the expense of yoking myself to the Savior! I also loved the thought that we’re not here just to be handed popcorn and a ticket to the event. We are part of the event if we so choose!
Thanks for your comments! It tends to be a stage in the process of ascending to recognize the evil in the world and then eventually, while still doing our general civic duties, we recognize that judgment is passed and we ensure that our heart and too much time is not tied into that. Satan wants people to get off the train towards sanctification at any stop he can, and he sure loves contention no matter which side we’re on. An hour in the temple is more valuable and does more for the salvation of men than four hours in any civic arena!
Thank you! Same feelings in my soul. ..."variations of the gift of prophecy come to those whose lives merit the presence of the Holy Ghost. Was it not the Prophet Joseph who said that the spirit of the Holy Ghost is the spirit of prophecy? All of us should court it and be enveloped in its beneficent influence." - Young
Thank you both so much for following your promptings to share the journey you are on with those of us that are searching and guided down the same path. Your Messages and testimonies not only brings us an understanding of what’s happening through your journey but opens our hearts and minds as to what our journey is to be to know Christ, to study, pray and ask what we should do next and keep moving forward until that bright and glorious day. It is all about Jesus.

16:30 I read today in 1 Corinthians 12 at the end it says starting with verse 28 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
Go to www.propheticappointments.com they have over 25 videos. You can also go to www.isaiahexplained.com. I also recommend reading Isaiah decoded by avraham gileadi
Latter Day Saints have added to the Bible. The warning against doing that is in the true Bible. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that “addition”. God said then the curses that are in the Bible are on those who do that.
I understand the paradigm that you have because it is what you have been taught but I testify to you with all the POWER of my soul that the gospel has been restored. We are in the final dispensation when No truths will be withheld. The more truth that comes out - the more enmity that the adversary creates against it Ask the Lord to make known to you all His truths!
I echo Randy, and will advise you to study that the Bible didn’t even exist when that was written in the book of Revelation, John was speaking specifically of that book. In the end though, we all believe in Christ and unity of those who follow him is so important as the world crumbles into calamities, even where there are differences of opinion on doctrine.
@spiritualsurvivor God has made known to me his truths. At the end of the Book of Revelation, he said that the revelation is complete. That means no more to come. Its not ok that a religion has added more with their own “revelations”. Moreover, to say that we are all christians is not true either, because some of us believe his word and some of us have added to his word. Again, there are curses for those who do that. Fear God.
@@Farmword- When the Book of Revelation was written it was over 200 years prior to the structure of the Bible as we (roughly) know it today. John’s words at the end of his apocalypse clearly did not and do not apply to the Bible in whole. Just to that specific book.

Love the idea of not being a spectator in these last days, but an active participant. That really brings into focus my duty.
Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy your conversations.
Thanks for listening! 🙏😊
Great comments, thanks for sharing! I love that yall are doing this. Sometimes I feel crazy and alone.
I know that feeling but we're not alone people are waking up

That's exactly how I feel! Isaiah is like reading the newspaper. I'm thinking of doing an episode on how Isaiah foretells of a civil war in the US.
