In my 2012 dodge ram 3500 I took the win module out and apart cleaned the contacts bent them outward slightly and it fixed my truck that was doing that. It would start sometimes and others it would cut out a couple miles from home. Usually when crossing a highway.

Known issue, needs a win, steeringlock module and keys. Their was a recall for this isseu

Had similar issues, (here in Canada) and was replaced under a recall.
