    I grew up at Mossier Valley. I haven't been involved in MX in years aside from watching, but it's nice to see Terry (I assume) still trying his hardest to create a great track over there. Those concessions, stands, and night lights really takes me back to great times.

    The night track is busy/supercross like. If you are a good jumper, than the night track is well suited for you. Lots of obstacles coming at you quickly. The back section has a great rhythm to it, the berms are built up high, which is awesome. For me though, as an older rider, I like the Day/Vet track. On some days they open up the Large step ups to the A/B riders, but close off that part during the C/D & Mini riders. All tracks are great. They also have a large trail section that you can ride in between motos. There are jumps and all kinds of stuff in the trails, fun too.

    Nice video mate, thanks. I'm new to the DFW area but Village is on my list of nearby tracks to try out. And yeah, organised practises often mean limited riding time as they try to keep it safe for everybody - it used to annoy me but ultimately, tracks where they care that much about the people who ride them tend to be better run, maintained and now I get it, and appreciate that. But definitely a factor if you are travelling more than an hour to get there...... Gonna go check out your Underground vid now, thx man !

    The audio while you’re riding and talking sounds great. What mic/gear do you use for recording?

    • @alexdombi-weridetwo
      @alexdombi-weridetwo  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks, I switch between mic set ups and I am not 100% sure, but for this video I think I was running a basic TRS lapel mic with a dead cat cover. I was for sure using my GoPro Hero 10 with a Media Mod. I have the GoPro on a Dango Designs chin mount and hold the mic in place with the mount so it's just next to my mouth. You're the 3rd person this week to ask about my set up, so I think it's time for me to do an updated video on what equipment I run 😉

    Village has the best night racing in North Texas. Saturday nights are a lot of fun and a lot of people show up. You can see the entire track from anywhere you are viewing it from. We park on the backside and sit in the bed of the truck and hoot and holler at all the racers we know. They also have the MiniX series, which is amazing for young new riders to get to race on one of the best pit bike/mini tracks I've ever seen. It even has start gates, lights and a tower. The main track is also cool. It is one of the few tracks in Texas that actually has elevation change with true step ups and true step downs. But, it has kind of gone downhill the last couple of years. However, they just gave it a make over in June, so it's better now. It is also the only track I've ever been to where you can see a downtown skyline from the track (Fort Worth). That's how close it is to the city. The only thing I don't like about Village is that it is Port a potty only; which is not cool for the ladies.

    i love village creek. my favorite part is the facillity, i mean everything u listed at the beginning. its nice and open, big parking, bleachers, its overall a great place to hangout. the only thing i dont like is its 40 dollars to ride for like 10 minutes every hour, atleast it was the few times ive been, ive only been able to go on the track like twice or mabey 3 times. i went a few months back on a not to busy night and they split it into A, B, C, D, 50s and 65s, 85s. it was 10 minutes on about 50 off. i hope they've changed that since then because it was not worth imo, but the track is amazing

      It definitely makes it hard for someone to travel long distances for that little of available ride time.

      @@alexdombi-weridetwo 😂😆 Yes Sir, long story but there was a house on the property and you would hear some crazy yelling and pounding my friends and I would go to it when we spent the night,and there is a bridge that the city of Arlington shut down because a car went off it into the river or creek and they couldn't find the car or body, it floods really hard around there.
