- In this video we use the cat swapped F350 to tow my John Deere 4400 tractor to my brothers house and pick up a load of stone on the way to dig a French drain for his back yard. The truck suffers a blown power steering line mid job while dumping a load of stone. Hope you enjoy the video!

If thats a jd4400 thats hands down the best / my favorite compact tractor i ever ran !!! The one i used a lot had the electronic reverser trans and just the power snd size of the machine was awesome . I want to buy one but they seem to he rare in my area 🤷♂️

Yes, tractor is a 4400. Mine is hydrostatic.. I’m not impressed with the drive power but I think there is something wrong with the hydrostatic unit.

We hated the 3126 back when they came out. One of the worst engines Cat ever made. Nothing in common with the bigger ones except maybe the hand primer

Is that 350 a stock 10 lug?
I remember hearing about the 10 lugs being a class 450 without the 450 badges.
It is not. It’s an 8 lug with adapters.

Did you get the no power issue sorted out ?
Not really. In an upcoming video I replace the fuel injectors which really didn’t change much. I also found a setting in the TCM that was not allowing it to communicate with the ECM. Changing that made a little bit of difference but it’s still a dog. Open to suggestions if you have any! I need to get this fixed now that I am actually using it for truck stuff.

@@DrEwBaBy625 what are the two biggest complaints about this swap? Weight? handling? mileage?
The power and the available information. I have been battling some low power issues, my transmission guy seems to think it’s something programmed incorrectly in the ecu but these engines are not commonly swapped like this so finding someone to help me figure it out has been tough. I have had it to the car dealer and besides charging a bunch of money they really didn’t figure anything out. So those are my two biggest gripes about this swap, there are more out there now with Deboss garage also doing the same swap but it’s not like a Cummins swap.
