Oooohhhh it's tricky, it's all in the eyebrows and forehead. Maybe she's trying so hard to perform well, the singing seems disconnected from the rest of the song... but it totally fits the theme of the song, where she's still living in this moment that she wishes she hadn't left.
最初の声楽の発表会では「I could have dance all knight」を歌いました。やはり、ずーと、この歌が好きだったのだと思います😊
At the risk of repeating, I prefer Ms. Ambrose's interpretation. Her singing and expressions put an appropriate hint of longing into the words and melody that I prefer over the relentless bubbliness of the film version.
Her voice designing is so strange such as using the vibration, rubato, and intensity. This music piece is for Broadway musical not the opera, singing lively and naturally is more important than trying to show off many technics !
This is older Broadway, not modern -- operetta, which is just opera with some spoken lines. She's perfect -- following in the footsteps of Julie Andrews who was the original Broadway (and London) Eliza.
I like her even more after hearing that gorgeous voice.
I love Ms. Ambrose's interpretation of this song! Her voice is beautiful and fits Eliza well. She's stunning. 😍❤

Lauren, your voice is gorgeous!!
Wow, that voice...
WOW.
I'd have never thought that I'd like anybody do it better than dear Julie, and, here I am. Clapping, Brava
Holy sh*t! Claire Fisher can SING!
You must be a six feet under fan like me ❤️
She was also the counselor who tried to defend William Lewis on Law & Order: SVU.
How beautiful this song is and love LA’s interpretation. I flew from CA just to see her in this show. She was wonderful.
Lauren Ambrose is incredible, Great.
I had bookmarked couple versions of this song by different singers. I deleted all other except this one. What a fantastic performance!
Thanks for doing this ☺️
What a beautiful voice 🙏
She makes a lovely Eliza 💐
From Argentina Lauren Ambrose I fell in love with the interpretation she does, it was the fault of "loving Leah"
magnificent. What a complete star.
Her voice leaves me astonished. Truly spectacular!
I went to the show having no idea she could sing like that. I had assumed she was hired mostly for her acting chops.

Wow! I never thought that she can sing that well. I just saw her in Loving Leah movie and became a fan. Love it.
This is definitely the best sung MFL cast recording. The audio quality and mixing are excellent, too.
Really beautiful ....
The dancing and playful lyrics and music is what I love about this musical! Most extraordinarily loverly and masterly! ❤🥰

I didn't know she can sing. WOW!
just amazing, love these recordings with this group
She's very good. Listening to her makes you realize just how great Julie Andrews really was. There won't be another one anytime soon.
all that talent in such a young person!
She's 40 years young, so not really a novice.
Can’t wait to see it next month

I could have danced danced danced all night ...
OMG
To think Sierra Boggess was in the final count for Eliza Doolittle 🙈💖
The clarinet player looks like a pro-football player.
Recognize her?
Not good- GREAT
She's divine, but can't come up to Judy Andrews.
