Proceedure:
Press power button to turn off.
Unplug washer
Press power button for 7 seconds
Plug back In
Press power button again and now you should have power.

I have a top-loader LG HE washer that's only 4 months old. I was washing a load of towels and it got off balance, which I quickly corrected and resumed the wash. I did not overfill it. Every load I've tried to wash since, it stops at the beginning of the wash cycle and beeps repeatedly until I open the lid and click start again. It's supposed to have smart diagnostics, as is even printed on the washer, but the ThinQ app says it's not supported (??). I finally discovered that it's beeping because the agitator isn't spinning. I've barely used the washer bc I have a small household, so I think it just needs to be reset since it got off balance. I tried unplugging and holding the "button" for 5 seconds, but it didn't fix the problem. However, my washer doesn't have a button per se, not one that you can feel. It's smooth and you press/hold your finger on it. It doesn't click, it's more like an electronic pad. Will this work for that type of button or is there a way to recalibrate it with the knob? My old Whirlpool was recalibrated by turning the knob in a specific pattern, i.e. 2 clicks left, 3 clicks right, 1 click left, 4 clicks right.

I have a question for you, the washing machine works regularly but when it takes water it shows a signal IE and it takes out the water outside the machine. The machine doesnt have a problem on taking or absorbing the water though. Could you please find a way for me to fix this issue . Thank you very much 😊

Hello and i have a question.
Basically the washing machine works regulary but recently its showing a problem. The washing machine doesnt have any issues in TAKING IN water but when it does it takes OUT the water and a signal pops up and its IE . How can i fix this???

Hi Yllka,
Try pulling the drain tube out of the wall by 6 inches. It’s too far in and causes it to drain as it fills.
Thanks, Scott. Do u think the reset will correct my case where LG washer resets the time remaining back up to 18 min. from the 7 mim. mark? (I have the large capacity top load model, about 5.5 years old).. RMD In So Cal.

I don’t think so.
Looks like it might be having trouble draining quickly enough so it’s recalculated the time .
Might also be a problem with the water not coming in fast enough due to the little screens on the back of the washer where the water comes in from the fill hoses being partially clogged .
Please let me know what you find out.

Even after the reset the quick 30 has gone to 47 minutes with different spin setting and temperature setting. None of the cycles are working after hitting start button. What would the cause be? Can you please help

It's child lock. Look for a button that has that label. With child lock enabled you can't use yo machine. Disable it cause it's a weird issue with lg machines that after a wash cycle with cl enabled, it won't auto turn off when for the next cycle.
