I watched this episode of faster with Finnigan and I loved it. Not only was it entertaining and a great proof of concept that I wish GM offered. I had so much nostalgia. I grew up in the middle of these Saffari vans all through the 90's and right up to when GM stopped production. My brothers were in the back and my sister beside me. These towed and went through anything, taking us and our friends all over❤ one year we had an AWD too and always the grey cloth seats! The AWD rotors are different.
Cool...I live 10min. Frome CJ. R. In new castle PA. Looking forward to more 4.3 vortec content. I'm going to install mine in a monza. I'm porting the heads right now.
man you are a legend, you need more support on youtube because you dont get enough credit for the amazing things youve achieved with the 4.3 and that being so in depth in every video
I was watching the episode thinking Brandon would be a good addition to this. And then you actually showed up later in the episode. Had a good laugh. Good job man moving up in the car world
Just subbed. Been wanting so bad to do a build just like your Sonoma, to my 02 S10. Its a reg cab 4.3 also. Just havent been able to figure out the best way to do it, and what parts to use. Nobody around here knows anything about how to do what Im wanting to do. They just slap an LS in one to go fast. I did the whole V8 swap 20 years ago on my 93 S10, and I had to work on it every morning to make it to work, and every evening to get it home. Lol. That was with a brand new Chevrolet Performance crate engine too. Dont want to go through that extensive of a build again. Im wanting power, but not so much that its unreliable. There are just hardly any performance parts available. Not affordable enough that is. Ive got to go back through your videos and steal all the answers that you worked so hard to figure out first hand. Haha.
Hi 👋 👋 👋 👋 👋 Brandon hay just wanted to share some info with you. I was on another Chanel and this had did some modification on the LV3 4.3 he turboed the engine he 1st did a stock camshaft 7lbs of he got over 340hp and then he went to a comp cam he got over 400hp and 7lbs of boost and then he went to a larger cam and 10.05 pounds of boost he hit 700hp. Just so you know it was on racing fuel and stock injection. Also I was thinking that engine would be cool in your Firebird. Anyway its an idea 💡 also I was considering buying the LV3 4.3 engine for my GMC SONOMA but I don't know if I want to do all that work. And its just a thought only. Anyway I'm going now thanks Ray 😊
SWEET!!! V6 finally gettin some respect 😁. Right man for the job 💯. What are your thoughts on an LV1 swap with AWD? Also Turbo Albatross??? Surely because neither were supposed to fly...
I have seen you race several times at drag week and the freedom factory. Much respect what you've been able to do with the 4.3 platform. Tonight was the first time I saw the Monsoon episode or knew anything about it. I gotta say I think adding twin turbos over a single was very questionable idea IMO. My case and point was a stock 89-90 Dodge turbo minivan with a 2.5L l4 5 speed manual with a very small Mitsubishi turbo turned 17.1's in the 1/4 and my 89 mini with an intercooler, pulled vacuum from the turbo running 14-16psi boost, different muffler and race gas 14.55 in the 1/4 with street tires and full interior. Anyway, they have A Lot of work to do to get in the 14's without throwing a ton of time and money in that thing. Even then, will it hold together? Here's mine. Read the intro first! Thanks and be safe. 🙏 ruclips.net/video/xmrNC9Ph7H0/видео.html
@@turbov6 you're the resident expert so if you think he can do it I'll just hang back and let this thing unfold and see what happens! If he'll listens to the right people he definitely has the skills and cash to get that thing murdering the grocery store runs. Be blessed! 👍

how do you only have 6+K subs!?
4.3 v6 engines sound great with flowmaster 10 muffler. Not a bad engine to boost. I may boost top mount supercharger at some point.
I feel like having the Turbochargers that far from the headers is a bad idea though trying to get any boost woud be really hard.
When is the next episode of the Momsoon? Great work 😉👍🏼💯

Hey! I bet with and upgraded torque converter, rebuilt transmission, e85, and more boost it would be able to run a 14 or even better.
