You weren’t worried about the metal delete cap being on the glass. I put a piece of rubber between mine so it doesn’t shatter the glass. Let me know what you did cause I can’t tell from the video?

There’s a oem rubber gasket / seal that the cap sits into.

For the glass try steel wool and soap and water
